My path first crossed with Chris (CA Auto) when my old F150 shut down while I was driving along Rouse. It was cold and I had a 300 gallon tank full of water in the back of my pickup. I called the shops I knew of and none were able to help. Chris was suggested to me by one of them. I called Chris, and though he grumbled about it, he recognized that I was in a bind and told me to bring it over. I thought I would have to call a tow truck, but got the truck to go about 100 yards at a time before shutting down (turned out to be a fuel filter problem). I did that a few times and ended up at CA Auto. Chris fixed me up and has been doing so ever since. Though he can grumble, he's a very competent and honest mechanic. I've grown to appreciate the fact that he's not Mr. Sunshine. as you can be confident he's going to give it to you straight--no BS. Actually, his grumbling has begun to grow on me!
