The manager quoted us a price for a replacement part and included the cost of labor to install it. However, when he found the part, it was more than what he had quoted us. He gave us a discount of $279 which was the difference between the actual price and the quoted price.. We are happy to make Bucky’s shop at 23928 Pacific Hwy S, Kent, WA. Our go to for all car repairs.

Best service in Des Moines Washington got my oil change done in less than an hour and the service advisor is super knowledgeable about all the oils and additives they sell and use would highly recommend this shop to anyone that need good fast service at a good price

Brought in a 2016 Corolla. They said it needed a tune up. The tune up was 1100$ 👎🏽. I ask them where they get the parts from and they say WorldPac. I ask how long it will take and they said 3 hours. After showing them the motor is simple and it’s on the top they adjust it to 1 hour and claim that the parts are $950. I tell them to show me it and they can’t show me. Worldpac is the cheapest parts. They will try to rip you off in daylight and can’t make eye contact with you while giving estimates. Do not take your business to them. They are just hungry for money. You will get ripped off or scammed guaranteed.

I went in to get headlights and wipers replaced on my car and after performing a quick inspection they also found safety bolts missing from a job I had done on my turbo the previous year. I never would've known! They did an amazing job sourcing the parts that I needed and their team were straight forward with cost/labor. Overall great experience and would recommend.

Called the previous day to get info on working on my a/c and asked if I needed an appointment. They said it's first come first serve. I arrived at Bucky's at 7:40 am and I had to wait because they were having their a/c worked on. Anyways, after waiting about 10-15, I went ahead and registered my car in and proceeded to wait. After about 5 minutes, 1 gentleman comes in and drives his car into an open bay, says some stuff to the mechanics and leaves. I figured he was dropping it off. Waited another 5 minutes and another gentleman comes in and talks to the guy, registers his car and then, they pull his car into the bay! I was pissed that the 2 cars were being worked on before mine. So much for first come first serve! UPDATE: Received a call from Bucky's and they explained to me that the 1st gentleman's car was taken in first because they only have 1 a/c repair cart and that he was dropping it off. I pointed out that I was there 1st and way before any other customer and that I should've been first.

Called to find out when they could do my oil change and they said bring it in now, after 4pm on a Friday, and we can have it done today. I took it in and it was done by 6pm. Those guys are friendly and they did what they said they could do. Best oil change experience in a long time!! Thanks guys!

My 1983 F150 wouldn't start and I called up Bucky's, had it towed there, and they had it fixed in a few days. I'll take it there to get worked on again the next time it needs something done.

The convenience of them being a first come, first served shop is so nice if you can get there when they aren’t busy or right when they open. The staff are nice and will explain things thoroughly! I had them use some spare oil during an oil change and they took the item cost off the bill, which I’ve been to some shops that refuse to use anything you bring in. So yeah, when I need a fix, I’ll be giving them a call!

These guys are awesome! You get the feeling that they truly want to help, instead of trying to get as much money from you as possible. The gentleman that was up front was very kind and I didn't feel talked down to, which can happen pretty often in my experience at other mechanics. Bucky's Staff is great--will definitely be back if my car has issues again.

I did a Resonator and Muffler delete, checked the car afterwards and tested it out. I’ll tell you, I am not disappointed. They offered me to come back if I ever need anything fixed and that they have mufflers if I need it. Good people and good service for sure!

SCAM SCAM SCAM!! They will try to rip you off and sell you more than you need! I had a problem with my exhaust and brought it to them. Told them I didn't have a large budget and needed this fixed as cheap and efficient as possible. They said it was to far damaged, they couldn't repair it, and in fact I needed an entire new exhaust system, no way around it. They quoted me at $2200. I told them it was way out of my budget and they told me I could finance it. I thought this all sounded a bit fishy so I took it to a different shop down the road. It's a miracle! For $250 the other shop was able to fix the problem! LOW LIFE SCAMMERS!!

These guys are AWSOME!! I took my truck in for an exhaust leak and to get the whole exhaust rehung. These guys went above and beyond and did an excellent job. They are fast, honest and reliable I suggest going to the midway Buckys.

My car was making this awful rattling noise for a while. I brought my car down to get looked at. HUGE shout out to Donavan for quick service. Turned out that all it was my exhaust was no longer attached. Great service.

Good guys. Went to another place they said 1700 to fix my g6. Went to this buckys n they fixed it for 800. 1st experience was good and easy. So went back with my denali that kept cutting off. Paid 180$ for them to figure it out. They told me 3000$ to fix fuel injectors. Took it to a friend and it was just a 60$ sensor. Wasted 180$. And if i paid 3000$ problem still wouldn't have been fixed. Wont be going back.

I brought my 2007 dodge charger here about six months ago to be serviced. Long story short I provided the parts, but they technicians didn’t tighten a bolt all the way up on my front end causing my car to shake real bad to where I could have possibly wrecked and died. Be careful taking your car to these folks. The only way they are going to accept responsibility for whatever it is, is if they provided the parts.

I'd be happier if they were cheaper, but everyone is entitled to make a living from their work. Bucky's varies by location. I have used the one by Highline Community College and the one in Bremerton both were excellent with great service.
