Buck's Automotive is the only shop where I take my Jeep TJ Wrangler for service and repairs. They came highly recommended to me from a neighbor of mine. I am glad I took the time to consult with them on major repair work on my older Jeep. To be sure, there are other good and capable auto repair shops in the Tucson area, Some are less expensive. However, my experience here has been nothing less excellent with most every aspect. Everything from consultations, the quality of the repair work (fixed right the first time) and having the work done on time. The service advisors Troy and Nathan and mechanic's positive attitude (Jordan), and taking the time to have a detailed converation with you about options, costs and parts availability. In my view, there is no other shop where I will be taking my cars for service. Thanks.

Buck’s just replaced my fuel tank so I could pass emissions and finally get a car tag. They gave me an estimate on cost and they stuck to that estimate. Kept me updated on progress. Very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this business.

I came across Buck's just from driving past when I first moved to Tucson 11 years ago, and I've taken a number of different vehicles in for maintenance ever since. Their staff is friendly and competent, and they never try to bullshit you; if a job can be done in a cheaper way, they will help you find that path. They provide a van service to get you home when you drop your car off, and they often have cookies and other baked goods dropped off in their office from other satisfied customers. This is the kind of local business you can trust. I couldn't be happier with Bucks!

UPDATED REVIEW: It's now been a few years that we've used Buck's, not only for pack rat damage repairs but for everything else we need from oil changes to brake work. They are an excellent company with people who seem to really CARE about your car and don't try to gouge you for unnecessary work. They answer the phone promptly and get you in for service within a very reasonable time period. Their prices are very fair. All in all, we feel lucky to have found Buck's. NOTE: We had an issue with pack rat infestation in our car, and the folks at Buck's took care of the repairs AND installing a pack rat deterrent device as well. They were honest and professional and completed the work at a very reasonable price. After years of going to our car dealership, we will never undergo any repairs (major or minor) without consulting Buck's first. We love their personal service!

Excellent customer service and work. I was there when it was veterans day, and they serviced all veterans with a free oil change. I thought that was very kind and really shows how caring they are. They are also very honest with their work.

2nd trip to Buck's, this time for their November free oil change and tire rotation for veterans. I expected an up-charge for synthetic oil but it was included! Timely work done correctly and they did a general inspection of the vehicle. Tires and brakes good. I'll be back!!!

Buck's is the place to go for excellent automotive service. They have kept my car with over 200,000 miles on it running smoothly for a number of years. I wouldn't trust my car to anyone but Buck's.

With so many automotive repair and service centers to choose from, how do you decide your best option? Let me help. I saw an ad for Buck's Automotive offering a free oil change and tire rotation for veterans during the month of November and decided I'd drive all the way across town to see what they were about, and I left 110% satisfied with my choice. From the cordial staff, to the comfortable waiting room (with complimentary snacks!), to the expedient, thorough, and professional service, I can't recommend them high enough. They informed me of a few deficiencies they noted during my service, yet used no pressure tactics to persuade me to spend more money, unlike most repair shops. Despite the distance, I will be going back for sure, and I was so satisfied I even bought a traveling Buck plushy to accompany us on our future relocation back to Europe. The fact that they recognize veterans reflects their devout patriotism and deserves our support. Give Buck's a try, you'll be happy you did, and thank you Buck's for all you stand for.

I can't say enough about Buck's. I was there a few weeks ago for an issue with my clutch and then returned again for a recurring problem with my brakes, which they were able to solve. Mike is incredibly professional and always kept me informed. Thank you!

I regularly recommend Buck's Automotive. They are courteous, upfront about things, and I have only had good experiences with them. I have felt valued as a customer. Their shop has that nice familiar local mechanic feel to it - you can tell they've been a reliable part of the community for a long time. I have the added benefit that they are walking distance for me. I feel pretty lucky to be not so distant neighbors to some of the best mechanics in town.

Nathan was the lead on the details of my vehicle mechanics. He is a great listener and values ones time and life circumstances and worked with my life as a single mom. My experience was great, I felt valued and heard. They took care of me.

Buck's was great! We had a mechanic we trusted for a very long time who retired and we had to find someone new pretty quickly. We took a chance on Buck's and were not disappointed. We felt like they fixed what was needed without pushing for any unnecessary work to be done. We will definitely be using them again when we need it.

I’ve heard great things about the mechanics here, but my experience didn’t match others’ reviews. I took my car in due to mechanical issues with my oil pressure. They informed me it would cost an absurd amount of money and after my car sat there for three days, I got a call saying it was ready. I paid, hopped in my car, and the minute I left their parking lot, the same warning from before popped up on my dashboard. I turned around, drove it back to them, and asked them to please fix it. After it sitting for another three days, I got it back and was told, “It would be $150, but we will cover that for you.” That was nice, but the problem isn’t fixed. I took my car on a longer drive just to find the "Electric Power System" warning pop up due to my computer signals being locked from the service they provided. This leads me to believe they do not have experience with “foreign” cars and their systems. If you have a European or foreign car, I would recommend taking it to a specialist instead of here to avoid being charged a ridiculous amount of money for more issues.

The entire experience was fantastic. They were honest about what they found wrong with my car. They were not pushy about getting repairs done. They outlined the problems with my tire and did not even try to sell me a pair of tires as they said the tread depth on the other three tires was excellent. I am not going to take my car anywhere else in Tucson

We chose Buck's based on positive Google reviews and the staff exceeded all expectations. This location opens early in the morning and offers a shuttle service that will help you get to work with minimal downtime. The service itself is efficient, thorough, and honest. I appreciated the detailed breakdown of what issues were considered urgent and what issues were not. I would recommend Buck's over and over again. Thank you!

This is my first visit to Buck’s Automotive Service Center, and the staff welcomed me with hospitality and it reminds me of back in the day . I loved how the manager explained to me and broke it down concerning my car needs. It’s been very difficult trying to find a honest company , and not taking advantage . I definitely will return and I’m wanting to keep them for car needs. Thank you again for serving me. It’s a pleasure and very refreshing. I hope this company continues to keep its core values to their customers.

I can’t speak directly for the automotive work, but I had to share my experience. I am only driving through town and am having troubles with our Ford F-150. The shop is closed on Sunday but I send a message hoping to get in the next morning. Mike responds quickly. He says that the shop is booked through the week and given that we can’t wait he refers me to a mechanic that can see me first thing in the morning. He didn’t have to go out of his way to help and this kind of kindness can feel rare at times. Got to other shop. It seems clear that they respect Mike and his work.

Three generations of my family have been using Buck's Automotive for decades. They are always reliable, trustworthry, and stand by their work. They never try to sell you something you don't really need, and look for ways to help with the cost when possible. They have done a great job keeping our cars running over the years. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Buck’s Automotive Service Center is a whole new experience in exemplary auto care. I brought my 2002 Highlander with 80,000 miles in for service. Nathan took the time to explain what my will car needed today and what service that may be needed in the future. He did no try to over sale me in any way. I did ask about some other services that I thought may be needed. However, after checking the car, he informed me that all was fine. He stated at each oil change Buck’s checks the car thoroughly and will let me know of any concerns to keep my car on the road for another 100,000 miles. This set my mind at ease. I felt like they genuinely cared about my car and most importantly me. I know I have found a honest automotive repair center with honest mechanics at Buck’s Automotive.

I am over ecstatic with the service my husband received from Buck's. We took my Mercedes 350SEL to one of these foreign automotive companies. Needless to say we had our "charge us extra" sign on because that's just what they tried to do. We'll we said no, and thought about Buck's as we drive by it all the time. Let me just say our business will be strictly from Buck's for our automobiles from now on. We saved over half the cost and the efficiency is second to none. Thanks again Buck's!

I have been a customer of Buck's for a while now. Initially, Buck's was able to fix many issues with my vehicle that other mechanics were just unable to address. I recently brought my car in for brake service and an oil change. To make a long story short, I had to come in two separate times (after my service) due to issues with my brakes. This was about a two week fiasco. Moreover, I brought my car in at 242,000 miles for a full-synthetic oil change. The sticker on my car window said that my vehicle was good until 245,000. This made me question whether or not synthetic oil was used since synthetic is good for at least 5,000 miles. They admitted they made a mistake when writing down numbers, punching them into the computer etc. So, they agreed to change my oil for free. When I went to go pick up my vehicle they said they did not change the oil and they won’t. If I brought my car in at 240,000 or 241,000 like they claimed, that implies I have been driving the distance to Phoenix and back to Tucson everyday since having my oil changed (more or less) which is so far from the truth. I have spent a good amount of money at Buck’s in the last few months. If an oil change (which probably accounts for 1% of what I have spent in the last four months here) cannot be done, when it was admittedly a mistake on Buck’s end, I may have to look elsewhere to get service (which sucks for me too).

We were traveling through Tucson and had an electrical issue. Nathan worked us in to their schedule to get us back on the road as soon as possible. They gave us a ride to our hotel while we were waiting. We are very grateful for the excellent and prompt service.
