My wife bought a car from Bronco Motors at the end of October 2024 and Bronco Motors had hired Bruneel point S back in May 2024 to replace the front brakes on the car before they sold it. I knew from the Carfax that they had worked on it so I checked the lug nuts on all the wheels because I don't trust any mechanic completely and found that the lug nuts on the front wheels were not tight! I called Bronco Motors and told them but they did not take our name or contact info. I guess they don't care. We went on a long trip with the car to see the Feista Bowl on December 31, 2024 and on the way back on January 1, 2025 the brakes started to make a terrible grinding noise. That day everyone was closed so the next day we took it to Les Schwab in Cedar City Utah. The mechanic there found that the slider bolts in both front brake calipers had not been tightened and that one of the bolts fell out completely which caused the front passenger caliper to rub and gouge the inside of the wheel rim. I told Bronco Motors on January 3, 2025 the additional info about the front calipers and they did not take my name or info but said they cared about their reputation. There is no manager at this Bruneel point S location at 9699 W Fairview available today January 4, 2025, so I will let them know tomorrow. We are all OK but if I had not checked the lug nuts we all could have been killed on our trip! Our front wheels could have come off the car completely and the front passenger brake did halfway come off our car. I got a hold of the manager at Bruneel Point S on Monday January 6, 2025 and he took our contact info, which is a step above Bronco Motors which did not take our contact info.Bronco Motors owner Brayden Petersen did contact me and said he will reimburse me for Bruneel Point S unsafe mechanic repair bill. I hope Jorge the manager at Brunell Point S makes sure the mechanic that worked on the car 5/23/24 2016 Lexus ES350 never works on a car ever again. He almost killed us. There is something severly wrong with the mechanic that couldn't remember to tighten 14 bolts on 4 different items (2 wheels and 2 brake calipers). The manager Jorge called back and let me know that the mechanic that worked on my wifes car has not worked for them since summer. I hope he is not working on any cars ever again. Maybe they need a system where a second person does the final torque on the wheel lug nuts, that way 2 people half to fail at once to let a car go out without having the wheel lug nuts tightened.

I recently took my truck in for service, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. They failed to properly tighten the oil filter and pressure sensor they replaced, I was able to move both with hardly any effort by hand. which caused my truck to start leaking oil shortly after I left the shop. Also the guy at the counter went and looked (i watched him go look) at the oil required, via tap on my truck, he told me it said 5W40 which is the more expensive oil in the shop, after having to add oil, my cap requires 10W30, so they sold me more the expensive oil then necessary. This kind of oversight is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of attention to detail. Not only did this cause a huge inconvenience for me, but it also put my vehicle at risk for more serious damage. I expected professional service and care, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I will not be returning and would advise others to be cautious when considering this place for their vehicle needs.

Left tools in my engine, scratched my chrome, expensive parts replaced and my coolant still leaks. Dropped it off for a slow coolant leak coming from thermostat. They swapped out the water pump before realizing it was leaking from the thermostat housing. Picked it up, drove home before deciding I should check things out. I lifted the hood to find a pair of pliers wedged in behind an unbolted air cleaner-someone didn’t finish what they were doing. Took it back to Point-S and they laughed at me before realizing I was unhappy. When trying to bolt my air cleaner box back in I watched them scratch my chrome grill. They ignored me when I asked for them to fix the grill. Best part is I still have the coolant leak. I recommend going somewhere else.

Wow how things have changed. May 2024 I will never be coming back. My wife and I have been customers for over 7 year. I went in for a flat repair and was charged $30. That's not a problem, good service does not come free. I drove the truck home and the next morning my tire was flat. Still not a big problem, things happen. I returned and they said it's a new nail; okay what are the odds but still that was fine. I was told this time it's not repairable, I asked to see the repair from yesterday and was told we cannot find it and the tire would need to be removed to see it from the inside. I went to another place and purchased a tire, where we inspected the inside of the old one, it was obvious this tire had never been repaired. I went back and got a refund considering Bruneel Points charged me for a service that was never done! Avoid this place at all costs. (Review from some time in 2016) I was in a pinch, I had flat tire, well I was losing air rapidly. And I'd never been to this place before. They repaired it for free, providing great service. I really do appreciate it I will definitely come back when I'm in need of tires.

Fairview has an incompetent alignment tech. Set appointment for alignment, came in for alignment, said they would get me right in, then I waited 30 minutes and they called to say they don't know how to align it because the steering wheel is off center. The wheel turns 1.5 turns to the right, and 1.5 turns to the left of center... the slight offset in the steering wheel is because it has a new struts and tie-rod end and needs alignment, the whole reason I'm here! The tech also disrespected my skills and indicated I must have installed the new parts wrong. The front office called other Point-S stores to see if they could be me in and said Meridian could get me right in. I drive to the Meridian store, and when I arrive, the Meridian store tells me it will be 1.5 hours. Might as well not made the appointment at Fairview.

Just moved to Boise 2 yes ago. Bruneel Point S has helped me with 2 vehicles. Prompt and very good service! This is my go to service place! Update March 2023 Ty and Carleen are amazing! They just fixed the shift and overdrive on my 23 yr old Ford pickup while I waited only an hour!

Amazing service. First time coming in for a tire sensor replacement and was greeted by a friendly smile. Got straight to the point and actually found another sensor going out so had both replaced. Shoutout to Jenny for answering my many questions for quotes on some work that needs to be done on my car. Would come back again:)

Been a long time customer. Brought in a truck that needed an alignment. Was recommended service that a mechanic deemed unnecessary. A slightly leaking shock and ball joint on a 24 yr old truck is not grounds for $2K in repairs. Claimed it wouldn’t hold an alignment that Commercial Tire was happy to do and guarantee for 3K miles. They’ve always done good tire and tire changeover work for me, but I guess management and times have changed. Won’t be going back. Be wary.

The employees Rock! And went out of their way to help me. They gave me a free air conditioning inspection not diagnosis but inspection. They went out of their way to call me before they were closing to see when I would be coming in so I would have access to pick up my vehicle very sweet of them! Thank you! this is the worst car shop i’ve seen, i’ve known a couple people who have worked there!! lots of misconduct there and terrible management that doesn’t know what he is doing. i wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone they are always having cars come back. i am honestly surprised they are still up and running, this place is very bad
