It’s baffling how this place has such high ratings. About a month ago, I brought my car in because the check engine light was on. They were quick to call me back with a diagnosis and a price breakdown, which I appreciated. However, the repairs they recommended totaled over $3,000. I told them I would need time to decide, as it was a lot of money for an older car, and would notify them when I had made a decision. After getting quotes from other shops, I decided to pick up my car about 30 minutes later. When I arrived, I was told it wouldn’t be ready for at least 30 minutes because they had already started taking it apart—something I never authorized. The person at the front desk became visibly flustered and rude when he realized I wasn’t going to proceed with the repair. Oddly enough, my car was ready in less than five minutes, making me feel like he was trying to pressure me by claiming they had already started work. To top it off, when I went to pay the diagnostic fee, they tacked on an extra $10 for “shop supplies.” As a single woman, it’s incredibly disappointing to feel like some places in this industry are looking for people like my self to simply take advantage of.

The staff and service was excellent. I Had a loud squeaking issue from the right tire that I was concerned was a more serious ball joint issue. I called mid day on Christmas eve because I had travel plans and I wanted to make sure the car was safe to drive up North. The team was immediately able to get me in, perform an inspection, and confirm the car was safe to drive. Many thanks to the team for the last minute Christmas eve help!

Such great customer service. I broke down in Idaho city and was towed to their shop on a Saturday and my car was seen and serviced right away. I’m VERY grateful for their help and wasn’t slapped with a massive bill. Thank you again for your help!❤️

This is a sad story of a grandpa, grandma, mom, and three kids travelling across three states on Thanksgiving weekend. Of course, the car breaks down, and we were only half way through our trip. With kids bouncing off the hotel walls, and stress levels through the roof, we found Bruneel Point S on Broadway open. Our expectation was to have to stay an extra day in Boise, and miss the reason for our trip. They practiced auto repair magic, and called us a couple of hours later, letting us know it was done. Then the real magic of the price being reasonable shocked us. While I hope to never have to go there again, I am happy I know where to go in Boise if something similar happens again.

I found a screw in one of my tires and called them to see how much it would cost to repair it. They did it for free and only took about 30 minutes. Very nice staff and efficient service. Will definitely return if I need more car service.

I've been there a few times and I must say that they do a perfect job and their people are so professional and friendly. Yesterday I referred a lady friend to them who was having an electrical problem with her car, and was about to have a tow and get a new battery. They cleaned the contacts, tested the battery and electrical system, and pronounced all good at no charge. She will be a customer of theirs forever! So many people out there trying to squeeze $$$, especially from single women. Good honest service will always make for loyal customers!

Brandon and the guys at Bruneel do a great job! My family has been taking our vehicles to them for a couple years now and we have always had a good experience. It's nice to have a place I trust will do the work right and not try to sell me on maintenance I dont need.

I have been taking my old (1993) Toyota truck here for years, both before when it was pro auto and after it was taken over by Bruneel. At first I was a little worried, simply because it had changed hands, but now that we have used their services several times I can say I 100% trust them. They are nice people, they get us in quickly, their prices are fair and they do a really good job. This week we had a check engine light come on. As this is an OLD vehicle, diagnosing the problem was a challenge, but they still tried! After getting a couple "codes" they didn't feel they could confidently say which one might be the problem. Also, they do not readily have the necessary parts. So I super appreciated them giving me the name of another shop that specializes in Toyotas and would have more parts and expertise for what I have going on. Honesty is everything! I'll continue to use this shop no question about it!

They really went above and beyond to get the new tires I wanted, quick! Brandon was friendly, professional, and made it happen! The installer did great and went all out to make sure everything was good. Perfect alignment and rechecked things another place missed. Great overall service means I will be back.

This shop was a wonderful discovery. I recently drove over a large rock or small bolder. It went right down the middle under the car and rattled it enough to trigger an automatic phone call from my insurance. I was concerned that it may have damaged something under the car, but I didn't want to pay $150 for diagnostics. Took it to a tire & brake shop that gives free brake checks. I thought while it was up on the rack they could just take a look and see if anything looked out of place. They wouldn't do that for free. I don't have a regular mechanic, but saw this shop next door. Brandon, the manager, was so helpful. He said he has space on the rack now and wouldn't charge to take a look. He put it on the rack right then and there and showed me the bumps and scrapes. He gave me his opinion and suggested nothing was critically damaged. Not knowing much about cars, he could have sold me anything from brakes to exhaust system but did not take advantage of me and did not charge for looking at it. I now know a mechanic that can repair most issues and I can trust. More than just a tire shop. Thank you Brandon.

I had the worse experience at the broadway location, to get a Radiator done from them on my vehicle they had my car still leaking out coolant and worse customer service and they stated they aren’t Perfect nor are their parts they said they sometimes have faulty parts, I had to go back to have them redo my car 3 times and still denied to say they aren’t perfect and couldn’t guarantee it to be done right and aren’t very understanding it was Negligence on their end with my car.

Just had the best experience! Recently I was having issues with my Subaru driver side window, I spoke to Brandon and he was quick to tell me to drop it off and they’d give it a look over for free, turns out it just needed to be placed back on the track! Without hesitation. They helped me out in a huge way at no charge because no parts were involved! These guys took time out of their schedule to get me all set up! Super great service here!!
