Good mechanics here. Inside staff is iffy since Art left. My car seems to be kept the entire day (whether it’s for service A or anything else) They advertise loaner cars but don’t ever seem to have them available. Update: They replaced my compressor in June 2023 but never replaced the original hose so lucky me had to replace the compressor AGAIN in December 2024. Never going here again.

I was generally satisfied with the service on my Jaguar . I was impressed with the professionalism exhibited and the fact that they did not recommend numerous unnecessary and expensive preventative maintenance items. All went well. They were courteous, accommodating and professional. I recommend this shop to anyone who wants quality and honest service on their car

Went in for a coolant leak, had both a cracked radiator and hole in the hose. Went in on Monday morning had my car all fixed up and ready to go the next day. The mechanic who was working on my car was excellent with communication; everything he found was sent to me promptly with an estimate. Good work for good price too. Would recommend!

My experience at this dealership was not so great I got cheated out of almost $2000 worth of money and my vehicle is continuous doing the same thing over and over again try to reach out to the supervisor and a manager didn’t get a response and when I did get a response from the manager he literally belittling me and start talking to me like I was a child I really had a bad experience with this company and I would never ever recommend anyone to use this company for fixing anything not even a bike cycle, if you are a woman like me, you will get taken a Vanish of and get beaten out of money so please recommend someone else to fix your vehicle and not this company I just got my truck back from another dealership and literally they fix my vehicle knowing that this company did not fix what they said they fixed it so I had to pay extra money on top of that for a job they already had supposed to be done by this company lots of money wasted at this company for a half done job!!! Manager needs to be Fire in a supervisor need to be replaced and the owner need to be shut down

First time customer and everything went better than i expected. I did inital appointment online and all correspondence was online for recommended repairs which was very simple. They replaced the water pump on my Audi and all seems to be working properly with no leaks. Prices are a little high but understanding how a shop operates and their overhead cost, I’m good with overall cost. Lastly communication was above par from what i have witnessed at other shops. As I initially stated this was my first visit and with this visit they have gained a new customer. Go check them out!

I'm not sure where to start about BMW. I wish that I would've known about them 3 visits ago before I started going to BMW of Columbia. Customer service is awesome. Every time that I called I always spoke with someone, they kept me informed at all times and to add to the exceptional experience my car was ready within a week. BMW has gained a lifetime customer.

I had some extensive work done on my vehicle..the staff were very professional and courteous..Especially the gentleman at the front desk whose name I cannot remember..all I can say is he was excellent in helping getting my car serviced, keeping me abreast of the progress on my repair, and expediting my repair

I have been coming to Browns Motor Works for quite some time and never really had a problem with anyone there until recently 11/14/2024. The person that checked me out (don't remember his name, but he knows who he is) was quite obnoxious and downright rude because I questioned why he didn't let me review the inspection from the maintenance tech before he decided to decline any of the services recommended. Although, he stated he did it because he saw me standing and ready to go, I appreciate the thoughtfulness but rather if I was going to accept the services or not, it still wasn't his place to make that decision for me. And to top it off, he grabs the service receipt aggressive back from me and when I stated to calm down because it's not that serious he says aggressively, "I'm not going to argue with you." There was no argument because he was out of line from the beginning. When I decided NOT to continue the interaction with him, I reached for the receipt and he pulled it closer to himself so I couldn't reach it and said I was rude for reaching for it. Obviously, trying to escalate the situation unnecessary. This type of customer service is beyond unacceptable and ultimately disrespectful. This whole situation is disheartening but God is always good. I would like to continue using Browns Motor Works on Clemson in the future but if I'm going to be treated in this manner by a staff member(s) then I would rather look elsewhere for my maintenance needs. I recently installed a new battery in my Range Rover Sport, and after installing it, my "charging system fault" light came on my instrument panel. I called Brown Motor Works Northeast to see if they could fix the fault. The gentleman on the phone said to bring the car in as it sounds like the car codes need to be reset. I brought the car in and did not hear from them for almost 48 hours. I received a cost estimate (via text) for repairs exceeding $6,000 dollars. I guess the initial diagnostic test covered my entire car, which I would not pay for if I had known. The root cause of my issue is still that the charging system fault code came on after I replaced my battery. The cost estimate covered items not related to the root cause issue (i.e., replace belt, replace engine front gaskets, replace suspension control arms, conduct wheel alignment, and a complimentary exterior wash). My diagnostic test covered the whole car, though I specifically went in to have the charging system fault looked into and repaired (critical customer requirement). I am military, so I did get 5% off the diagnostic test. I guess my issue is I want my charging system fault looked into and not pay for an all-inclusive test to be told my tires need alignment and my suspension control arms need replacing. I guess I paid for the full scope of anything one can find in the diagnostic test. I feel I wasted my time and money (diagnostic test was $233.19) only to go in and pick up my car and find someone who will focus on my customer desire; test the system charging fault only and not the whole car. I felt I was being told to pay $6,000, or your car can not be fixed. Yes, time and money wasted. I am starting over but will not return.

Brown Motor Works has been my go to shop for my 2012 Jaguar that Land Rover will no longer service because it is more than 10 years old. I have had nothing but great service from them with clear details of issues and charges. They even sent me a card for my birthday which was so thoughtful. I recommend them to anyone who has an imported car because they are skilled and know what they are doing. I’m so thankful to have a shop that can work on my problem filled car that I love and won’t sell. LOL. 😂

Great experience from start to finish. They placed new tires & did a tire alignment on my 2017 toyota camry. They provided me with a loaner is a HUGE plus. They are very reliable & trustworthy & have such friendly staff. Impeccable customer service. I will definitely recommend to friends & family!

Had to bring my 2018 Volkswagen Atlas that had a myriad of issues. Specifically a coolant issue that was revealed my water pump needed replacement and my engine/transmission mounts needed replacement/repair. Took my car to the dealership first on Killian, they told me they fixed it and they actually lied. But then I took it to Brown Motor Works, they completely fixed every issue and provided photos showing me the damage instead of just talking. This repair shop is the epitome of walk-it and talk-it. If I ever have any issues with my Volkswagen, I will bring it here. I give this place 5 stars and would recommend to everyone to has a European vehicle needing repair. Lastly, at 7:30 am in the morning, unlike other businesses, Brown Motor Works staff are polite approachable and greet you as you would want to be greeted. Thanks.

I was referred to this location by my mechanic in Rock Hill SC to repair my child’s car. They were straight forward from start to finish and even gave my child a ride back to campus. Josh was a great help throughout the process. Would highly recommend them.
