Terrible experience. I left my car in this mechanical workshop and they returned it to me damaged and they didn't want to be responsible, it was rude and he was just laughing. the check engine light is on now, OBD entrance broken, Brakes sensor broken. Stay aware of this guys. !!! Now I have to pay $500 dlls for repairs.

I've been taking my 2015 LWB range rover to British garage for some time , and I can confidently say it's the best shop in San Diego! Jamie, the owner, is incredibly nice and professional. He always answers his phone promptly and gets back to me in a timely manner. His quotes are always accurate, and he sticks to the repair or maintenance timelines he provides.

Fast! Great job on my oil change gave me recommendations on what my full size Range Rover needed definitely will be back! Most independent shops tell you no to bring your own parts not these guys. I bought my oil straight from Range Rover to make sure it was the right oil going in. I’ll be back when my car needs more service! Highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I had a horrible experience at the LandRover dealership service department and I called British Garage in desperation. Even though they were fully book they accommodated me, diagnosed my car, kept constant communication, and had one of their mechanics stay after hour to work on my car and get it back to me ASAP. THEY ARE AMAZING.

I took my Mini there for lost power, and paid almost $1000 and the problem was not fixed , after paying that much money I called and they said to have my car towed back in what a joke .

Just bought a used L405 and went into a panic because it was leaking coolant. Called and spoke to Jaime and he talked as if he knew my car without even seeing it. He told me it wasn’t going to be an issue and listed off the places it would be leaking from. I was living in the worst case scenario and imagining I had been sold a disaster. Not the case. They fixed it the same day, inspected the whole thing and let me know I got a solid vehicle. Phew! Thank you!

Damaged my calipers when changing out the rotors and brake pads on my 2018 Range Rover Velar. British guys were able to diagnose and fix quickly without making me feel like an idiot. Thank you guys! 10/10.

I would like to thank Jamie and the crew of professional mechanic technicians at the British Garage . To make a long story short I had my 2010 Rover shipped there along with a motor I purchased separately.They advised me that it was a Jaguar motor I was sold and that it wouldn't be compatible with my vehicle unless modified . So i'm taking the person to court who sold me the engine. Jamie and his crew went above and beyond what I even expected and accommodated me at every step of the way . They understood my situation and were kind enough to hold my vehicle there till I found another engine! They never did any unauthorized work on my Rover and always kept me informed with updates of my vehicles progress ! Never tried to upsell anything , always friendly and cordial . In the past I've taken the same Rover to Range Rover/Jaguar of San Diego on Miramar rd . And was never treated right and they actually messed up my Rover . I wish I would have known about The British Garage back then! I would have saved a lot of money spent less time in repair and had less head aches ! In this economy with the high cost of living and inflation, and when you need a service preformed on your car that you can count on , Dont waste your time and $ call Jamie at the British garage , I promise you that you wont regret it !!

I brought in a 08 Jaguar I recently purchased. I told Jamie the car had been sitting for years and I needed some components serviced. There was no up selling, they did everything at a reasonable price and knowing that this was a barn find that I knew little about, showed integrity by servicing only what was needed. The work was done in a timely manner and well below what a dealer would've charged. British Garage now has a new customer. It's tough to find a shop with this level of integrity.

Customer and car service is ALWAYS excellent! I have taken my Land Rovers to them for major repairs and minor service. Honest, knowledgeable and had my car done within a couple hours. Even went the extra mile to take my car to Discount Tires to have my tire patched. They are better than the dealership for service!
