I put my Camaro in storage in April 2022 before deploying to Korea. Before my deployment my check engine light illuminated. I took my car to a mechanic and they said it was due to a faulty O2 sensor, while servicing my vehicle the shop contacted me and said that my spark plugs and wires needed to be replaced as well. I was charged about $1,800 in total for a job that should have cost half that amount at most. Shortly after returning the check engine light illuminated again. I took it to another mechanic and was told that my spark plugs and fuel injectors needed to be replaced even though I had just had my spark plugs and wires serviced 10 months prior without having driven it since. Because my car was not actively misfiring and I financed my car brand new I knew it was nothing too serious. So I waited to get multiple opinions. Long story short, due to bad past experiences of people taking advantage of my financial situation I have had my check engine light on for well over a year. I used a fuel stabilizer to keep the fuel from going bad while in storage, so I figured it was not the fuel injectors even though that is what I have been told by multiple shops in the Tucson area. When I contacted Breathe Easy Automotive for services. I informed their staff of the situation and they told me to bring my car in and they would run a diagnostic to be sure. In the end the problem was a burned out catalytic converter and not my fuel injectors or spark plugs which would have needed a full tune-up to repair costing about $2,200-$2,400. I was able to get the catalytic converter replaced for about $400 which resolved the problem. Breathe Easy Automotive referred me to the shop that serviced my vehicle and found me the best price. In the end I only paid Breathe Easy Automotive $100 for the diagnostic and nothing else. I highly recommend this shop and vouch for their customer service and transparency. Be wary of other shops looking to get as much money out of you as they can.

Brought my 2001 Dodge Dakota in for a fuel pump replacement, and Breathe Easy was efficient, patient (with my blunder of bringing a 22-gallon pump instead of the correct 24-gallon pump, haha); they got the part, did the labor, and the price was fair and good. Will be coming back again for future services. 😁😁😁 5/5 or 10/10, whichever!

I am new to Tucson. This was my first time using this garage. They were friendly and honest in the work recommended and done (I know a little about cars). The car dealer wanted to do work that really wasn't necessary and did not mention maintenance work that was due to be done. And Breathe Easy,'s prices are fair. I will be a repeat customer they are now my garage of choice.

Breathe Easy Automotive is fantastic! I went in today to buy and swap out my battery and the entire team was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and communicative. Additionally, the team seemed liked they worked synergistically together. A bonus was they had really good (small lot?) coffee in their client lounge.

My engine blew up outside of Tucson on a weekend and I had my car towed here. They were closed but had a Dropbox system was very easy to use. I'm from a different state and they worked very well with my insurance company, communicated with me frequently via text, and replaced the engine, radiator, and ac condenser in just 2 weeks! Best experience I have ever had with a shop

Found online. Very good reviews and someone actually picked up the phone (Mary). I asked questions (process, costs, estimates, etc) and where all clarified. My check engine came back again and took my car immediately. There was one odd situation and was referred directly to Nissan agency; Brian advised me as what to ask for. After getting a work estimate from the Nissan agency, BREATHE EASY fixed that “odd” situation at a way better price. Communication flows nicely via text and/or email. I do plan to stay as BREATHE EASY client forever as I need to keep my high mileage car in excellent condition.

Had my rear struts replaced here barely a year ago and they're leaking and causing clanking sounds over bumps. I don't know what's happened but the quality of their service compared to a few years ago is down the toilet. They also lost my mom's dust covers and tried to claim she never had any.

Highly recommend Brian and Breathe Easy Automotive. Conveniently located in Central Tucson, they offer honest and good service. I have lived in Tucson for 27 years and didn't have a good mechanic I could trust. Recently I was fortunate enough to find this local automotive shop and very happy with the results.

A wonderful experience! I'm not usually fond of visiting mechanics, but from scheduling the appointment to consistent communication throughout the process until the finished product, I am thoroughly impressed with Breathe Easy. Breathe Easy Automotive is the only mechanic in town I trust. Tucked away in an industrial neighborhood, they manage stand out. Their bathroom is always cleaned and maintained, as is their complimentary coffee and tea. Everyone there that I have spoken to is professional and helpful. They take the time to explain the process and never try to oversell you on things you don't need. Plus, it is owned by a woman, which is not something you see often in the automotive industry. Good prices and excellent turn around. The waiting room has comfy recliners that rock so I didn't mind waiting. They did some maintenance type things while I waited. We've been to them several times and have always been pleased.

Honest staff that stands by their word and their work. This shop is run really well. They communicate everything honestly, openly and in a timely manner. They'll work with you to determine what the most important issue is to fix if there are a few problems and you're on a tight budget. They won't ever try and take advantage of you either, they treat you like one of their own. I was really pleased with their work, their ethics and am truly happy I found this shop. I cannot recommend breathe easy enough. They are only going to recommend devices that you actually need and when they do recommend services, they’re reasonably priced. Just left there after they were trying to diagnose an issue on my car and they wouldn’t let me pay anything for it. I almost insisted but I am choosing to write this review instead. Your car and money is safe here.
