I’m not sure if it was because I’m a woman or not but I called to get a quote for a service that I was scheduled to receive prior to moving to TX but was unable to get, which means I had a general idea of how much the parts cost as well as the amount of labor involved. The amount Braun quoted was ridiculously high. They quoted me 2x the amount of one shop and nearly 3x the amount of another. Needless to say I didn’t take my car to them. However, it’s good to know that there are honest mechanics in TX who don’t try to take advantage of women.

Referred to by local Helotes shop. So far so good. Took for alignment need and they took care of us. Even though we had thought there was additional issues the alignment took resolved it. Glad to see they didn't try to push unnecessary repairs. Staff was also great to work with.

They are the best value in town and I would strongly recommend them to anyone, especially military troops and their family. Finding a team that we can trust makes all the difference in the world, which is why the only automotive repair establishment in town that I trust with my vehicles is Braun Road Automotive. Even after moving to Austin, I will still take the cars back to Braun. I have tried other chain stores and found them to be lacking, so do not waste your time with the others to save a few $$ as it will cost you more in the long run. Chris, Reiko, and team are great.

I came here way back when they first opened to have mechanic work done. I’ve been 3 times total. This 3rd time has convinced me they are no longer capable of helping. Breakdown... 1st visit: Excellent customer service and quality work. 2nd visit: Came to get brakes done. Customer service slipping a little. Not as friendly. They did the brakes but I had to bring it back 2 times to have them fix their mistakes. Made me wary but I gave the benefit of the doubt. We’re all human and make mistakes. 3rd visit (FINAL): I showed up at open (8am) and spoke with Chris (owner) about fixing the exhaust on my car. He said he’d call with an update as soon as he knows. I call back at 6:05pm (5 minutes after close) and Chris says “I’m sorry I haven’t had a chance to find the part. You can order it if you want. eBay is your best bet.” Then tells me the item specs so I can. I order it and it comes in. I take it to him. Apparently I ordered the wrong part even though I used all of HIS SPECS! He tells me “you can return it and get the right one or I can just look for the extra parts.” BULLS**T!! This is why I brought it to you! If I’m doing all the work for it, what was the point of taking it here?!? I would’ve taken it to “Bring Your Own Parts” if this is how I wanted it done. I want a PROFESSIONAL and apparently they’re not it. At this point Customer Service is NON-EXISTENT! I feel since the first visit they’ve just become apathetic toward the customers. I would seriously recommend going somewhere else. If you do have to bring it here...good luck.

I had a good experience here a few months back installing an after market part on my car. They were responsive to email, clearly quoted a price for the requested work, and completed the job as scheduled / on time. What's not to like?

I went their for my cars a/c I didn't see any customers....excespt a couple of contractors for window tinting They told to me that for figure out what's gone wrong they will charge me $95, And that can used for repair cost. I agreed. A that they told that the whole unite is broke and it will cost me $2500. I thought it's better to buy a new car instead of fixing the AC for 2500. And now,some how I want to get out from the shop. They told me.$225 for filling Freon... Thieves.. They didn't do anything...the car have no a/c I will never go their..any more. I will never send any one their ...

Not a good experience, I paid $100 for a diagnostic test and instead, I got his opinion which was incorrect. It really saddens me to give a bad review, but this one really hurt me.
