I appeared without appointment around noon and was greeted promptly. Although short staffed on this day they still managed to get my brakes taken care of without a fuss. The rear brakes were ordered incorrectly for the application (due to a confusing order listing) but the gentleman got into his own car and swapped the wrong parts for the correct ones! That is real service. I no longer have to worry about my brakes for quite some time into the future. They were great!

I had my car service on 9-14-2024 at the Garner's Ferry location. I needed all 4 new brake pads and rear rotors. Eric was very helpful. He explained and was very patient answered all of my questions about the service I needed. To say they had to ordered my rotors, I was only there for 2 1/2 hours. I highly recommend.

My experience today was by far the best . Eric took real good care of us. Told us we didn't need things that another place told us we did at double the cost that Brake 4 less quoted us. Definitely would recommend this place. If the big boss reads this Eric deserves a raise.

READ READ READ.. Reading reviews truly HELP before getting service from a place: In June (specific date unavailable) I paid $300+ to have my brakes done later to find out when I was getting my oil change and other inspections at Midlands Honda , they forgot to put the springs back on my back brakes. Today, 8/17 I’m getting an oil change and tire rotation and now I’m being told my brake springs are faulty and need to be looked at. I’m taking my car right back to this location to speak with a manager about this issue. I WILL NEVER return or recommend this location to anyone. Professionals are supposed to do the job correct and I paid too much money for this to be half done and/or done incorrectly. When they fix this issue; this location won’t have to worry about me revisiting or recommending them to anyone. I DON’T recommend this location to anyone‼️

When you call to schedule an appointment, you’re directed to a call service. My experience with the call center wasn’t so great. They aren’t knowledgeable about much. However, once I arrived at the Garner Ferry location the I received wonderful service. Super nice and willing to help and actually explain the service required. Unlike most brake repairs they aren’t trying to get the most money. I will definitely return!

I wouldn't suggest going to this business. Scheduling an appointment for today.... by corporate. I went to location ... no appointment. After being advised of this and that... drive back or go here to another location at brakes for less.........I drove 1.5 miles from this location to Mavis TIRE. They immediately brought me in... and for the same quote was only $30 more. For professionalism, cleanliness and over all establishment at Mavis was well worth driving 1.5 miles further. I highly suggest to go to Mavis then brakes for less!!!

I have a lifted 2020 Chevy Silverado on 24x12s.. made an appointment at 3:30PM (they close at 4:30PM) was informed that all 24 of my lugs were cross threaded and it was unsafe after they took one of my wheels off. So I asked for them to send a picture of the stud in which they agreed to do (obviously they never sent it) however they put the wheel back on the supposed cross threaded studs so I then asked to see the picture I requested and conveniently he couldn’t produce said picture. Tried to insult my intelligence like I don’t know about cars but they were just lazy because they were going to close in 1hr. 0-10 do not recommend.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody that expects to have their brake fluid checked when they get their brakes done here. Just took my truck to a shop that not only informed me, but showed me that not only had my brake fluid been overfilled, but it was also florescent green. This place either; 1, didn’t check the brake fluid at all, or 2 (and most likely), over filled the brake fluid and failed to inform me that I had an excessive amount of water in my brake line that will lead to further brake damage if left untreated.

The manager at this location is amazing. I went in thinking my brakes were bad and he helped me to see that my wheel bearings needed replaced as well as my brake pads. I appreciated him taking the time to show me what wheel bearings even are and demonstrated how mine needed replacing, which helped me to understand the importance and trust that they were being truthful. I had my work completed that day, and the team there worked relatively quickly and got me out a lot sooner than I expected. The pricing wasn’t bad either.

These guys saved the day. Driving home from Charleston to Ohio and our brakes were barely hanging in there. Stopped in to see if they had time to help us out. Not only did they get us back on the road in about two hours, but the price was fair and they gave us honest advice on what needed done. Thanks so much for getting us back on the road safely!

everyone was so nice but i took my family car that needed help that i use to take my 3 kids to school, but once i got it back it smelled like something adults smoke ... it wasn’t weed it was something else, if you know. and i had to leave the windows down for 2 days due to the smell and wasn’t able to take my kids in that car. i won’t be going back.
