I was having problems with my jeep starting so i took it to another auto shop. They told me I needed both alternator and battery replaced and then gave me a pricey estimate. A few days later my wife was getting brakes put on her car at BRAKES PLUS ON AUSTIN BLUFFS so I set up an appointment for my Jeep. When i took it in they told me all I needed was a battery and that the alternator was totally fine. Not only was i able to save alot of money, get my Jeep fixed that day but i also found a new, honest mechanic. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRAKES PLUS ON AUSTIN BLUFFS. Thank you so much to Eric K, Sam J and the rest of their team! Your honesty is so much appreciated!! I've tried leaving a separate review for today's (January 31 2025) visit to BRAKES PLUS on AUSTIN BLUFFS but it keeps bringing me back to my first review, so ill just add to it. Thank you to DOMINIC and the BRAKES PLUS team for helping me out again. This time I needed my thermostat changed. They got me in early today and finished when they said they would. Thanks again DOMINIC, I really do appreciate all your help!!

I am here at a Brakes Plus on Austin bluffs and so pleased with the service. I called and spoke with Dominique and he told me to come right down because I had to be at work later in the morning. When I came in I spoke with Jamie and she was so professional and so sweet. She was able to get me in immediately to replace my brakes. I highly recommend this location. Kind, welcoming and professional staff

I recommend coming here . I’m a single mom , I don’t usually go into a place like this and agree with the invoice . I got everything I needed done the day I walked in. Everyone is nice they had stuff to keep my 3 yr old busy, and my car drove us home & runs perfect . I trust this place n won’t go anywhere else .

After a heavy snow storm, my brakes were making some very harsh grinding noises. It was a weekend, so I couldn't go to my regular mechanic. The folks at this Brakes Plus were WONDERFUL! The entire process, from booking to checking in to getting updates and finally retrieving my vehicle, was super smooth. The staff was very communicative. They worked with me on some different pricing options as to what repairs might be more urgent than others. They even stayed late to make sure my car was done and back in my possession by the end of the day. I am officially a true believer in the folks at this Brakes Plus.

Donovan was a huge help when I stopped in with a low tire warning. Checked and filled all of my tires, found 1 with a nail in it, and referred me to a budget friendly tire place for the repair.

Came to get car checked for dying while in the middle of driving in the road. The dash board lights were not on at all. They tell me it's the battery. We get battery and post fixed. Then our power steering goes out and all lights turn on. We realized our windows, ac, radio don't work either. Come back to get it fixed and tell them they messed up and need to fix it. Jamie tells me she has a video of the car with lights all on. And that they can't do anything and can't talk to upper till Monday. It is Saturday and I am without a car and can not get to work.

Changing the rating for this location, I went here loyally and they always worked with me until change of management. I had my bearings done in July by Austin bluffs brakes plus and when I returned in November due to having the same issue in my bearings I was told that they would not honor my warranty for whatever reason which does not make sense, they were the ones who serviced my bearings only months prior so why would my warranty not be honored? Don’t warrant the parts and labor if you will not honor them.

I came in 1.5 hours before closing without an appointment on Christmas Eve with an emergent brake issue. Not only was I looking at possibly getting a new caliper but they were able order and get me a bolt that I was missing instead of completely replacing it on top of replacing a couple rotors and all break pads. I was willing to leave my car so everyone can go home on time and enjoy their holiday but thanks to Eric , Jamie , Mike & Vince who worked on my car to get me back on the road safely I was able to take my car home same day. I highly HIGHLY recommend visiting this amazing team ! Customer service was exceptional.

The location at 4175 Austin Bluffs PkwyColorado Springs have an outstanding team members.They took the time and taking care of the situation that occurred on the vehicle. The technician name Dominic explain exactly the issues on the vehicle. Making it easier for me to come to an agreement to have all the repairs at this location. I love the teamwork they have and the time they take with the customer. I definitely recommend Brakes Plus located at 4175 Austin Bluffs. Will never come back here. Had a coupon for a $64.99 synthetic oil change. Made an appointment ahead of time. Got here and they said it would be 2 hours. Said they could give us a Lyft ride home but that would cost $11 extra. Oil change coupon is deceiving. After fees and labor, it came to $97. Plus $11 Lyft ride. So a $64 oil change, that we made an appointment for and planned on waiting for, took two hours and cost $108. Avoid this place!!!

I meant to post this review about a month ago, but I've been very busy the past few weeks. Jamie was very kind and helpful. Her and the guys went above and beyond to help me. They showed me I had a lot of wear on my tires and helped me get my new winter tires from discount tire. They also found an oil leak, and since I live far away, they made sure to do all the repairs in one day so I didn't have to make multiple trips. I really appreciate everything they did for me that day. Awesome customer service! 🙂

Went in to Brakes Plus today, brakes would sqeak in the afternoon but not in the morning when I drove to work. Started out light a few months ago. Last couple weeks it got worse. Not sure if was warped rotors or my brakes. Since they did both, I took my car in. They got my car in almost immediately. Eric was incredibly professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Dom, the tech, assessed the situation, glazed brakes. Very impressed with the service. I was kept in the loop the entire time. I liked the windows into the bay so I could see the progress. Full brake job, got the premium package ( to me it was a great deal), also oil and filter change. I was literally in and out in 2 hours. Also got pricing for for shocks and struts. Eric and Dom did a great job. I'll definitely go back.
