Took in my 2019 Kia Soul for an oil change yesterday afternoon. BRAKEmax performed an oil change and now my vehicle is leaking oil. I am very disappointed. I will be in tomorrow morning and will update my review once BRAKEmax has resolved the issue. Update…Turns out the technician did a poor job of cleanup after the oil change was completed. The manager on site showed me the mess and cleaned the remaining oil. Everything had been well since. A little unfortunate but mistakes happen. Thank you for rectifying the situation!

The guys at brakemax on pantano and speedway are very friendly and professional. I received great service. They keeps me informed as to the progress and unfortunately a delay. Nothing to do with the work, just the age and rusty build up on the car.

I brought in an alternator to be installed. And was told that the car would be checked out thoroughly before I leave the premises. A bun, starting my vehicle at their premises. It was a labored start. And the following day when we were going to go to church, the car did not start at all. It was laterer determined by another facility that what I needed was a new battery. I believe an alternator was in fact needed, but the battery should have been checked and this caused much frustration.

I don’t understand Brake Max wanted to charge me $700 to change my water pump I call brake master I called them to see how much they would charge me $423. So I had to tell brake max that I was going to have brake master change my water pump . When I went to get my keys an van the said I had to pay $ 120. For them to look at my van he said they couldn’t do a presser test cuz of the rust . I ask how’s that .the manger the white guy told me not to go back .12/12/24 and I didn’t have to pay

The excellent repairs I received in June were unfortunately undone by some misinformation. The repair involved a fuel pump replacement. I mistakenly assumed that in the process of the repair the fuel tank had been drained. As it turned out, the old gas that caused the initial failure remained in the tank and likely caused the subsequent failure. My contribution to this was failure to drive the vehicle and cycle the old fuel out of the system. All was made well though with a warranty replacement and reasonable incidental costs . Thanks again for the great service.

The staff is kind, helpful, and informative. They indicated what they were doing and what needed to be done in the future. Good pricing and life time warranty. Great place to go as they handle so many car related issues including windshield replacements.

When you can find honest and strong commitment repair shops for your autos, use them for all repairs. Brakemax is a fantastic shop. They provide very competitive pricing with a commitment to provide their customers with quality repairs. I will use them for all needs when in the Tucson area. Highly recommend. I went in for and a trip check. The tech who did the work noted on the paperwork that all tires were at 36 psi, which is what is recommended by the manufacturer. When I checked the TPI readout in the truck it showed the tires at 30 and 31 psi not 36 as indicated on the paperwork. I checked because I wanted to verify the truck TPI gauge had updated. I verified the numbers with a manual gauge. I took the truck back to the shop and spoke to the manager about this and he addressed the issue.
