This was a very nice experience, I got an oil change and thought I needed my brakes done but they said I was actually fine with the ones I have for now and they explained the MM level and the safety to me. Also very affordable and free inspection cost. I will definitely be returning and I trust them 100%. They were also very friendly, I asked lots of questions and they took the time go answer my questions and not rush me, the waiting area is also very nice and comfortable. Update, went again expecting to have to replace my brakes, the staff was very friendly and explained the process and what I needed done and what I didn't need done, this is really a great facility, and everytime I go makes me want to go back because I trust the work and what they tell me.

I highly recommend the 1st Ave., Tucson, location. They have proven, repeatedly, their honesty. additionally, they take the time to explain whatever you want to understand, even sitting down beside you to explain whatever it is that you want to know more about. I really appreciate this business!!

I went in for an oil change and to check the front end alignment in my vehicle. They did a complete inspection and advised me of things that should be taken care of in the near future. Charlie was very personable and professional and explained things in way that I could understand.

Today, 12/9/24, I went in for the latest good work on my 21-year-old Toyota Corolla. I've been a customer at this location, 4545 N 1st Ave, for at least 10 years now. Every time I visit, here's always a new or renewed reason for loyalty. Today was headlight replacement. Charlie had told me I could save by buying the kit on Amazon, which is exactly what I did... and with his blessing, had it delivered straight to the shop. It was great to not have the car hung up all day today for just this job! And, most reassuring to hear the sincere emphasis Charlie and Mike placed on how much safer night driving will be now... over my original intent, which (honestly) was to fix how bad the oxidization looked. I left there feeling very good, as I always have.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the gentlemen at BrakeMax on North 1st Ave. I have had alot of work done on my truck there over the last few months, and they have always been very courteous and honest. They do great work and I am always amazed at how quick they are. I have referred them to others including both of my daughters and their families and I will continue to do so. Thanks Guys!!!

My husband was in the hospital and we needed two vehicles. Our truck literally had to be towed into Brake Max. I spoke with Charlie, manager, and told him how desperately I needed the truck. At the end of the day I had my truck and it wasn't an easy fix. A few days prior the engine light went on in our car. In a panic I took the car to Brake Max. Don't panic. You just washed your car and something probably got wet. Wait until tomorrow morning. Good advice. Perfect in the morning and no problems since. Charlie, Richard, Michael and mechanics have supported this 78 year old woman who knows nothing about vehicles since my husband was no longer able to take care of our vehicles. Don't worry Charlie said. We will take care of you and he has as well as the entire team at Brake Max. I will be forever grateful to them especially for their kindness. Brake Max at 4545 N. 1st Avenue is the place to go for excellent honest work on your vehicle and service with a smile.
