I took my truck in for an oil change on a busy day, they got my truck in and done in about 3 hrs, which is fine I dropped it off. They sent me pictures of EVERYTHING they recommend to get done. Very helpful and keeps the honesty going. I appreciate it.

Disappointed with Brake Masters’ Dishonesty On a friend’s recommendation, I decided to take my car to Brake Masters for an oil change. While I didn’t have an appointment, they accommodated a same-day service, and the oil change itself was completed in about an hour. So far, so good. As expected, they performed a routine inspection and informed me that my car’s alignment was off and that my tires had noticeable wear. This came as a surprise because my tires are fairly new, with only about 3,000 miles on them, and they had just been balanced and rotated by Discount Tire the day before. At that time, Discount Tire confirmed the alignment was fine, and there was no wear. To be thorough, I immediately went back to Discount Tire and had them recheck everything. Two employees reviewed my car, confirming there was no alignment issue or abnormal tire wear. Still skeptical, I had an appointment with my dealership the following day and asked them to inspect the alignment as well. The dealership also confirmed there was nothing wrong. Brake Masters clearly lied to me in an attempt to upsell unnecessary services. This dishonesty cost them my trust and any future business. I understand businesses need to make recommendations, but fabricating issues crosses the line. I won’t be returning to Brake Masters and would caution others to double-check any claims they make about your vehicle. Honesty goes a long way in building loyal customers, and sadly, they failed on that front. Update: Turns out these clowns can’t install the oil filter correctly.

They got the job I needed done but I don't think it's professional to be actively smoking while on the job. Then they move the vehicles in and out of the bays and the car reeks of cigarette smoke. That's horrible with customers that have breathing issues! Don't get me wrong, they were all very nice but that was very disappointing that smoking is allowed in and around customer vehicles. Especially for people with breathing issues.

They have been a good place for basic maintenance since the other shop in the area made a mistake and totaled my truck (set off all the airbags while working on it). Recently the new truck developed a noise from the front sync ring not releasing fully on. It became much louder on the way to work, so decided not to chance it and brought it in. Second week on a new job so had to go. when the call came the recommendation was a new hub as well as struts/alignment to address the cupping on the front tires. All reasonable so I agreed but made the mistake of not asking for the price to be broken down. Turns out I was charged $479 per strut (sold online for $269/pair) and $679 labor for something I have done in the past in less than an hour. Had I not had to be at work due to it being my second week, I figured out I could have done the struts myself for ~$400. Other shops are quoting less than $1000 and a ford dealer quoted a friend $1200. Buyer beware - don't be as dumb as I was - have them email you an invoice with breakdown when they call and avoid the overcharging I fell for.

I have and will continue to recommend no place other than Brake MASTERS on Houghton in Vail/Rita Ranch! I’d like to say all Brake MASTERS are great but Shane can not be at every location ;-) The entire crew is wonderful! The customer service is beyond superb. Fast, reliable and honest service center.

As always, Brakemasters did a great job.. They check if any needed maintenance is due to keep me informed. The employees are very nice and knowledgeable. I will continue to go to Brakemasters because they continue to impress me and my vehicle runs great!

Went in to get alternator change. They left a plastic water bottle and sand paper inside that has stuck on belt,which made squeaky sound. I try to go back to get the noise checked , but they were busy to check it. I took my car to Break Max and they found the water bottle. I went back to Brake Master to let them know which they said thank you for letting them know. I was hoping they would get my name and took more interest in the issue so they would be more careful in future.

INTEGRITY! I brought my truck in thinking I needed brake pads because they were squealing. The guys put it up on the lift, checked all the pads and they were fine! They could have easily just swapped out the pads and charged me but I walked out without paying anything. Will definitely be back whenever I need something done!

One word review: trustworthy. You can quit reading now, or read on for supporting detail. Ryan, Dana & team do excellent work, follow up on all major repairs, and get things fixed in a timely manner. I brought in an older vehicle I'm particularly attached to, the kind some people say should be retired in favor of a newer vehicle. Wrong! Keeping your current vehicle running is cheaper & better for the family budget than taking on higher payments, insurance, registration, etc. The guys at #225 finished a complicated set of repairs involving a new power control module. When the engine light came back on (car was running fine!), they replaced unrelated older worn out parts of the fuel pressure control system. No charge. Same day! Runs like a top, again.
