I called all around duluth looking for a headgasket repair quote for my prius. Brads was one of maybe 2 or 3 who was able to do it, and was also the least expensive quote. They repaired the car quickly and educated me all about what they did. Fast forward a few months and the prius had other issues (has over 200k on the car), and I and my wife both drive for work. Brads was booked solid but let me drop the car off to work on as they found time. Not only did they fix the 2nd issue, they did so ahead of schedule and billed me extremely reasonably. My 210k car drives like it's brand new almost. Aside from all that Brads was personable, friendly, educated me on the issues, and I never once felt even remotely taken advantage of like some other places. If you've ever felt that way, head to brads, they'll be fair and treat you respectfully. They communicated well, and understood the plight of not having a vehicle. Although it may just seem like a mechanics shop, we all know the toll it takes on a young working family to loose a vehicle and the expense that causes on monthly bills. Brads took care of us and really helped out our family when we needed it. There aren't many businesses anymore you can say that about. Thank you Brad, and all the mechanics that worked on our car and helped us out. You all went above and beyond and we really appreciate it.

I was having new tires put on my truck at Sam's. They said one of my lug nuts was cross threaded and they couldn't remove it. I went to Brad's and asked what I could do. Steve told me what likely needed to be done, then checked with his crew. They were booked two weeks out. I'm leaving for Alaska next week and am driving my truck up and back. He was able to squeeze me in immediately and got it fixed in an hour. I can't thank those guys enough. We have had other work done at Brad's in the past. They will tell you exactly what needs fixing now and what to watch out for or think about fixing down the road. Their advice has always paid off. They look to do what's right. I highly recommend them!!

Competent shop does good work. In my case I didn’t ask enough questions about the $ mark up on parts and that was significant. This shop had a 6 week wait for a wheel bearing job, so they must have a large customer base.

Excellent auto shop, this was the third shop in the Duluth area where I brought my car and the only one to actually send me home with a car that runs properly. Prices are very reasonable and the staff was friendly and professional. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends & family!

Hands down the best mechanic I've used. Brought my '16 Accord in for a timing belt and water pump replacement, a valve lash adjustment, plus some fluid flushes. I also requested some help on a spinning lug stud plus a full diagnostic. Where other shops might rush through the admittedly long list of services I'd requested, Brad and Steve were extremely thorough in addressing each one of my vehicle concerns. They were clearly knowledgeable about my particular platform and even recommended the valve adjustment be deferred based on measurements they'd taken in other, higher-mileage J-series Hondas. On top of the routine maintenance items, they spent several hours fixing some cross-threaded lug nuts on one of my wheels without torching the wheel or replacing the entire hub assembly. That kind of attention to detail was totally above and beyond, and it saved me a ton on parts. Besides the great work they do, the prices are extremely fair, and I've never got the sense they were trying to upsell me on something that I didn't need. It is genuinely difficult to find a good, honest mechanic -- let alone for a fair price -- but Brad and his team are exactly that. Thanks, guys!

I really like Brad's Auto Clinic- they are reliable, timely, and perform quality work. I have recommended them to many people. However, I was quite disappointed with their service today when I walked to my car after paying for the work they had done. I noticed there was a crack in my windshield and spoke to someone about the issue. He told me it was the tow trucks fault but I did not have my car towed, I drove it there myself. I am very disappointed in this service because the crack happened while my car was in their hands. They said there was nothing they could do and wouldn't properly compensate me. I love to support small businesses but as a customer this is really frustrating dealing with especially considering they tried to put the blame on a tow truck that never was in the picture.

There was a little confusion with the appointment on whether I was waiting for the truck or dropping off but they were able to get me in right away. They were very good at explaining why and what they were doing. They gave me their recommendations to find out the issue. I made follow up appointment to get to the exact resolution to the problem. I highly recommend them.

Took my van there to get the A/C fixed. In a nice way they told me they didn't want to work on it. Said it was too rusty to raise up or something. Gave me a bill for 60 bucks saying I declined for them to fix it, which was a lie. I never told them not to fix it. Brought it home, fixed it myself with no need to raise it up, not sure what they meant. Maybe they don't know much about air conditioning systems. Anyway, it's working awesome now. UPDATE: Love the references guys, but you know who I am. You even called a few days after my review and we talked for 35 minutes on the phone! Maybe someday I'll give you a chance to redeem yourselves if I have a problem in the future.

I brought my car to Brads after being told by a different shop my transmission needed to be replaced at a cost of close to $7000.00. I wanted a second opinion and Brads was worth every penny. Dan ran a diagnostic check and got the code advising a replacement but didn’t think that was the whole story. He did some research and found a CPU fix from Nissan that worked perfectly and the car drives very smoothly now. This research saved me several thousand dollars and more than likely needing to buy a new car. Brads is honest, fair, and courteous and we are a customer for life. Thanks Brad, Dan, and Staff!

Wonderful customer care! He found me help, when he couldn't get to the job right away. He found an auto body shop that could take me right away and even called to try and find me a rental vehicle. Brad's auto clinic is awesome!
