We have had several vehicles repaired by Bowles automotive and have always been treated professionally and in a kind manner. They are very honest and when you get your vehicle, it has been repaired right. I recommend them often and I’ve never heard any problems with people that I have recommended to them.

Update... My VW dealer estimated my tires at $1,500.00 for lower priced tires plus alignment at over $300.00. Next step up in tires was at $1,700.00. This car has low profile 19 inch tires. Now I'm about having the dealer do SOME things on the car for a newer car...but OVER $1,800.00 for tires and alignment is way too much buckerooos for me. With the original tires down to the wear bars it's time to go shopping at BOWLES! I love these folks! They have always performed on time and within quoted price. Bowles finished up my car $78.00 under their original quote. Final price was $1,252.00. I got a national brand of tire, an additional $50.00 mail in coupon, tire rotations, and road hazard tire repair/replacement. Lower price was due to alignment settings being all in proper "green" settings. Some businesses would have still charged full alignment price. Once again this is the best place around this area. The car drives beautifully! Once again I leave here very satisfied! Great service. Honest quotes that they stick to without additional charges. They take great care of the vehicle fleet where I work and my personnel cars.

I had been a customer for 15+ years with 4 cars serviced. Sad to say I was getting suspicious and not a good feeling about work being done for the last 3 years. Switched to new mechanic about a year ago and what do you know, most of the big parts needing replacement are ones “replaced” by Bowles 2-3 years ago. Makes me wonder if they were ever replaced to begin with…timing belt, oil cooler assembly, AC condenser and recharge. Big items all needing to be redone in less than 3 years. Warranty of 12 months/12,000 miles, covers any their butt. Happy to say our new place offers warranty of 3 years/36,000 miles, which speaks for itself. Sad to see the business fall into a rhythm of deception and making a quick buck.

Great costumer service. They were upfront and honest about what I asked them to do and informed me of a couple of maintenance items that I wasn’t aware of. They were very fairly priced and I went ahead and had them take care of everything. They will be getting all of my car maintenance and repair business moving forward. I highly recommend this shop!

It's been 6 years now, so I want to update my older updated review from 2018. Like most people in this region, I'm a car nut and very mechanical. If its worn, it gets replaced. This service center does great work *and* stands behind their service. They've never suggested a repair outside of what I already knew about and will sit down and explain the process and parts with very little solicitation. You are the only customer when your car hits the rack. I'm a car guy so I'm super picky about who works on my car and how it's done. We've used a couple of other shops and had good work done, but we were never quite as satisfied. If you want dealer quality parts and service without the dealer pricing and pressure, Bowles in Mooresville, NC, has you covered! Simply great work and service! I have no affiliation with them outside of being a really picky car guy who never leaves feeling like I've just been sold an unnecessary repair, ever.

These guys are super friendly and do a great job at providing NC Annual Motorcycle Inspections. I really appreciate the owner sticking by the "motorcycle inspection program" even if he makes $0.00 profit once you calculate the mechanics work time and paperwork filing time. State Inspections on motorcycles cost the rider $13.60, so how can a business make any profit from that as I'm sure almost all that goes back to the NC Department of Transportation. This is why very few garages anymore still do motorcycle inspections --- they loose money if anything!! The owner at Bowles just does it out of kindness and as a community service which is awesome to see small business owners doing that. GREAT JOB Bowles Automotive!!

Very fast and friendly. Was pouring rain outside and they left my car in the shop rather than making me walk out in the rain. Will definitely be back for other auto needs. Highly recommended.
