Just started taking my Camry there and it was a great experience!! Fast, reasonable prices, and the owners Tom and Tammy were delightful to deal with. Tom had me go out in the shop to check a seeping steering rack that the dealer I was going to never mentioned?. But then instead of selling me a new rack he mentioned that he would just check the rack each time I was in and if it got worse change it out at that time? Who does that any more!! I highly recommend the Boise Foreign car!!!

Always awesome service! Several years ago, I had to take my car to the dealer several times for the same problem - they couldn't figure out the issue. I finally looked elsewhere and found Boise Foreign Car. Tom figured out the problem, and fixed it right away. I won't take my car anywhere else!

VERDICT: I highly recommend for the foreign car owner. EXPERIENCE: They are prompt and professional, yet they squarely embody every likeable feature of being a quintessential family operation, from kind staff and knowledgeable staff to the inter-staff demeanor and occasional banter. The facility is clean and well setup, should you need to wait for your car to be serviced. Both quality and prices have been better than previous shops I've had service my vehicles.

T&T (dynamite!) are great at what they do and don't mess around. I was referred here and have referred numerous friends and colleagues here. If something needs to be fixed they'll fix it and make it right, if something doesn't need to be fixed they aren't going to try to gouge you or upcharge. Honest shop and honest people.

They told me my engine had seized up and I needed a new engine. Didn’t run any other tests nothing because the car wouldn’t start. Took it to Kia and they put a new battery back in it ran the codes car runs like a top. I’m just more frustrated that instead of doing their due diligence and actually looking for the problem they say throw a new engine in it and it should run. And I just wonder how many other people they have done this to. It’s not right or ok to do this to people.

I dropped my car off for a pre purchase inspection, before purchasing. I was given very professional, friendly service! They have a great deal of knowledge about Japanese cars and were able to find specific things of concern before purchase. I got a very fair evaluation for $120 and 20 minute phone call afterwards to discuss his findings and any questions I may have. I was purchasing the car out of state and had to rely on his judgement. Boise Foreign Car met all of my expectations and when I arrived to buy the car I was not surprised by anything out of the ordinary. I would gladly use Boise Foreign Car Service again!

This is an excellent shop. They have really got things figured out. Great mechanics that know how accurately diagnose the problem and fix it the right way. Friendly and helpful staff all around. Other shops have struggled with my Subaru, but not here.

Today was my first (and not last) time having Tom work on my Tacoma. He replaced a couple of CV boots and a few other details. Thanks, Tom, for doing a good job! A lot of shops (Boise Muffler Auto Repair) do good work but push unnecessary upsales. So far, Boise Foreign Auto is a diamond in the rough. They aren't trying to get deep in your pocket. Tom and Tammy are incredible people to work with. Whenever I call in with a question or concern with my vehicle , they take time and care with me, even if I don’t end up needing work done at the shop. Just today the catalytic converter was stolen off my Prius and before I knew that was the issue, I called to talk to Tom. By listening over speaker phone to the horrible sound of my car, he knew the issue right away and advised me on how I could safely drive to his shop. I always feel I’m in good hands with them, trust their wisdom and judgment, and how they aren’t pushy at all when it comes to getting unnecessary repairs. It can be tough to find a solid, reliable mechanic who is fairly priced with excellent customer service, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this is the shop for you!

Easy to make apps. Very flexible to my schedule changes. Completed a front brake service on my subaru, checked rear brakes and muti-point inspt, all in 1.5 hrs. Excellent customer service all at half the price quoted by local dealer.

We’ve been going to Boise Foreign Auto for over 3 years. They replaced the transmission in one car, did some work on several of our other cars. They are our go to mechanic! We have taken our Nissans and Toyotas in for a great customer service, and great explanations.
