One phone call with a lady i didn't know, clearly having a bad day, ruined all work I had scheduled with this shop. Won't ever have them do anything for me.

Took my car in to get my electric power steering fixed. This was a Tuesday. Gave me and my fiancé the run around, saying the part will be in on such a day, then didn't hear back from them for almost 2 days! NEVER doing business here again. Poor customer service. 0% review. Never texted to tell us what was going on with my car. My fiance or I always had to call to get updates. Unprofessional. Took a whole week! The only good thing was the loaner car; but could've at least gave us a full tank!

I was so happy they were available. The dealership oil change guy stripped my oil pan and tried to charge me just under $600 to fix it. Boise Automotive Service gave me a lower and faster repair quote than the dealership less than .5 miles away. I was worried about getting approved for the company they do their credit acceptance with, but I was approved and I can pay the loan off early if I want. These people are very nice and just want to help. I'm definitely going back for all automotive issues. Update 01/21/25: I attempted to use them a couple of years ago and found their success went to their heads. They had moved and brought on a few more people. The old ways of doing things and being all about customer service and getting repairs done changed a great deal. I will not be going back. I go a few miles out of my way now to a different dealership.

Fantastic experience! Car problems came up suddenly before a road trip, needed to see if something could be checked out quickly. Out of the few places my wife called, Santos at Boise Automotive Services was the only one who asked “what is going on, tell me about it?” They got everything diagnosed and fixed up and we are good to be on our trip tomorrow. Very grateful!

It's been a long time since I needed a mechanic to work on my vehicle. I was a little stressed about who to trust and after looking and reviews. I decided to try Boise automotive and I'm not disappointed was a quick easy process and I got my wheels back. Big thank you to Richard who worked on my vehicle.

We were in a bad spot, our wheel bearing was absolutely ruined. Every shop I called for multiple days couldn't see us, but this place was able to squeeze us in. They looked over the car faster than we expected and got repairs underway quickly. Santos was the employee we worked with through this and he delivered on everything. I can't say I've ever had a shop treat us as well as this place. Able to get back to our road trip with little time lost. Thanks you guys, and thank you Santos!

Great service! Excellent customer service! Very reasonably priced. I brought my car in with a radiator issue not knowing what to expect. They provided me with a loaner vehicle for an extremely minimal charge and I was able to get back to work. My car was done and ready for me to pick up same day. I have found my new auto service people!

My husband took our 2011 Dodge Ram truck in for work on the exhaust manifold. Part of that work involved an exhaust manifold stud kit. The person that did the work used bolt instead of the stud kit shown on the invoice. The bolt and lock washer are not correct because the lock washer will lose tension. Why would he use a cheap bolt instead of the kit for $75.46 that we paid for? Then upon a second inspection of the truck, it was found that there were fresh weld marks on the oil pan ahead of the oil sump just behind the harmonic balancer. The manager initially lied about this but after further probing to get to the truth, it was finally admitted to being done by a careless worker. The work was shoddy and there are potential safety ramifications involved. The bottom line is that we now have a damaged oil pan (that should never have been touched) and no response from the manager as to any possible written warranty to cover the crapy weld (that shouldn't be there) in case it fails. Technically, they should replace the oil pan that they damaged. I will be seeking remedy for this mess caused by Rick Housel and his employee Kent at Boise Automotive Service. According to texts, the owner Daniel Burrup has been made aware of this and no response from him either. It's called duck and hide. Update: We were offered an oil pan replacement and it has since been installed but I won’t be doing more than this one edit to my review, especially since the truck came back with oil over full (my husband is anal about that kind of thing) and the coolant bottle was over full. Not professional. Also, be sure to tell your employee, Rick, to quit harassing my husband by blowing up his phone to insist I take this review down. For those folks still reading this review, here’s some back story. My husband has been a good friend to Rick for quite awhile. If Rick will mess over a friend this way, imagine what he’ll do to you.

The guys at Boise Automotive are always so fantastic. They got my car fixed in less than a day, super quick turnaround, offered me a loaner, are always super friendly and easy-going. And moving to Texas my biggest concern is finding mechanics is honest as these guys! Been with them for years and are always stoked about their service!

I was extremely worried that I lost “my van” b/c I am a 3L law student and really can’t be apart from it, but you guys were the only one that was able to consider my circumstances and help me to the best (yes the best) of your abilities. They've worked on our cars for years! I'm a little gunshy of mechanics and car problems, having had several bad experiences, but Boise Automotive Service has always been fair, helpful and accommodating! Very much appreciated and highly recommend!!!

I recently had my alternator replaced on my vehicle which I know was not an easy task. Jeff kept in contact with me through out the process as his mechanics were working on my truck for a full day in this ridiculously hot weather. Customer service was top notch, got my truck back within 1 business day! Thank you to Jeff and the crew, appreciate all the hard work!

My fuel pump failed so had to have my vehicle towed somewhere. Being a single woman, you never know how you will be treated. I looked up several auto repair shops and decided on Boise Automotive due to their good reviews. They did not disappoint. Jeff was very honest with me and got me the best price. He also added 2 quarts oil as he saw it was low. I truly appreciate this shop and am now a loyal customer.

These guys are phenomenal. I hate having other people work on my vehicles because I've had bad experiences before. But these guys are great, I ran into an issue I could not solve, and these guys fixed up my vehicle, and when I had complications down the line, I brought it back twice and they fixed the problem both times free of charge. These guys are thorough, professional and just amazing they got a loyal customer out of me.

Rick did a great job fixing my car. After nine years of having my 2008 Jeep grand Cherokee, the front control modual was going out. I looked three years and was told it couldn’t be fixed..after the place I bought it told me about Rick, I was thrilled when he called Cascade and told me it was fixed. And he fixed my windshield wipers too! Thanks Rick and the price was great too.
