They were amazing! I got a flat tire on a Saturday. Drove to them on the spare and they patched it for $30 while I went out for lunch even though they were busy. 10/10, highly recommended!

Bob's Auto is a GREAT place to get your car fixed. They are honest, professional and very reasonably priced. I have taken two cars there over the last several years for lots of different issues; tires, brakes, smog check, oil change, etc. They are very quick and very trustworthy!

I brought my Smart Car in due to a check engine light DTC present. Upon having their technician diagnose the issue, they found that the Clutch Shift Solenoid was worn out due to intermittent voltage. They replaced it with quality OEM parts at a good price. I’m super happy I brought it to them! Their turnaround time was same day too! Thank you Bobs!

I came to Bob's for a Engine Coolant Leak, the technician at Bob's diagnosed the issue, guided me step by step on what repairs were done and taught me preventative ways to take care of my vehicle from showing me the maintenance repair schedule and what repairs should be done soon per mileage. Bob's is the real deal, quality work, quality knowledgeable technicians at a great value. Very hard to find these days. Thank you for working on my Toyota!

The best customer service I have ever experienced was at Bob’s. My car broke down at night and I called Bob’s (even though they were closed) and they answered and let me bring my car there past office hours at no extra cost. They fixed my car and let me keep it there for a few days while I was out of town. They also let me pick up my car Sunday night. They respond quickly and treated me very kindly. Will definitely be back here for car troubles in the future.

Visited Bob’s Auto Services for my car that was overheating and experiencing a leak. Agreed to the $150 diagnostic and was told the radiator had a crack and the thermostat housing needed to be replaced. Fine, I okayed the work and here’s where things got weird… The woman on the phone said my front tires were worn and needed replacement. I didn’t go in for tires, just the leak and my car engine overheating so this unsolicited offer was strange. Then a few hours later they tell me the work has been done but the water pump now needs replacement for an additional $350 on top of the $1000 I was already paying. I couldn’t help but question the ethics and integrity because the diagnostic was suppose to identify the source of the leak and potential issues but now there’s saying something different after the fact and after very expensive work has already been done on my car. It started to feel like a scam. What they didn’t know if my uncle and father consult me with cars and I’m never in the dark completely. I think this car shop tried to scam me because I was a woman by herself. Now I’ll never truly know what the issue was or if I was overcharged for work that I didn’t even need to be done in the first place. Suffice to say, my car is still leaking coolant fluids and my car is inching towards overheating again after spending $1000 with Bob’s Auto Services. They say they fixed the big leak but after $1000 spent, the problem persists. I would not recommend and I’m very unhappy with the service and execution here. When it came time to review the work done, examine the old radiator and leak, the mechanic seemed upset that I was inquiring about the work he did. Conversations shifted away from English and overall just didn’t represent a place of high moral standing. Why are you upset that I’m reviewing what’s been done? I’ve gone to another shop and have been met with so much clarify and honesty. I advise you to stay away from this shop. Your visit will be expensive and the issue will persist or the work will be subpar.

This family run business is honest and does great work. I took my old Honda in to get my squeaking brakes fixed and they also fixed the rotor and a wheel cylinder leak. Fair prices, in & out the same day, convenient location in the city (close to restaurants and other businesses where you can wait or go to work in the FiDi) and clear communication on text and calls. Thank you Bob's!

If you need a good price on a car repair (I needed brake pads), this is the place to go! The lot was crowded when I went but if I called and they were able to repark my car for me and took over from there. I did have to wait a bit since there were cars ahead of me, luckily it’s in North Beach and there’s plenty of restaurants, cafes and parks to take up my time. Highly recommend!

Wow. I cannot say enough good things about Bob's Auto Service. Jason (owner) and his son Jonathan took incredible care of me. Jonathan corresponded with me while Jason and the team worked on my car, I really appreciated the kind communication. As a young woman, automotive services can be tricky for fear of being scammed, etc. But I never felt that way here. In fact, their pricing is REALLY good, plus you won't find service like this anywhere else. Family-owned and operated is a huge plus. I went in for an oil / filter change and left as a long-term customer - thank you!
