Dave is a joke had him replace a Catalytic converter and it was still throwing check engine light took it to another shop and they told me that it was a bad converter he put on so went back to him and he said it wasn't then Said he couldn't help me and walked away dude is a scam

Dave is the most honest, trustworthy mechanic I have ever met. He is thorough and speaks plainly regarding any issue I have had with my vehicles. His suggestions and recommendations are based on years of experience and what he would do if the vehicle were his. I will support his local business as long as I have vehicles to drive!

Dave ran diagnostics for us on our check engine light being on. He told us exactly what needed To be taken care of and what didn’t. We had been told by another mechanic that we needed a new belt and converter and other costly repairs. Dave was very honest and saved us a lot of time and money. He even drove us to work in the morning and when we came to pick the car up, it had been freshly washed! Highly, highly recommended. This is the most honest and reliable mechanic I’ve dealt with.

I went to Blum’s Auto today for an oil change.. just an oil change. When I came to pick up my car he had also rotated my tires and charged me $30 for it. I specifically said just an oil change. He didn’t call to ask and I am a new customer so he knows nothing about my car. I got this car in November and had only added a few thousand miles on it.. I did not need a tire rotation. I am very mad that he did that and I had to pay for something I did not need or want. I don’t think that is okay at all. It was a very bad first impression and I will not be going back.

I've been taking my car here for a couple years now and Dave is great! He gets work and repairs done in a timely manner and is great about calling to check in about relevant details and doesn't force unnecessary "repairs".

If you are looking for an honest and reliable mechanic, take your car to Dave at Blum's auto. We had such a terrible experience with another competitor who had a coupon, but they have terrible management and customer service and did not honor their warranty. Dave did previous work on the car and he listened to the horrible situation we were in and he looked over the car at no charge. He fixed what needed to be fixed although it was the other company's fault for not fixing it.

My car started making a high pitched squeaky noise after replacing the belt at Blum's as part of regular maintenance. We took the car back several times, replaced the starter for $450 (as Dave claimed it was the starter issue), took recordings of the squeaky noise as Dave claimed that the car was not making noises, and let him listen to the noise in person. He failed to fix the issue and won't refund, and won't respond to the BBB compliant. I would NEVER recommend this place.
