brought my miata here for new tires, they put outside wheel weights on my aftermarket wheels which they’re not supposed to do because it’ll scratch up the rims which it did. they also balanced my tires wrong after installing the new tires because my car started to shake when going over 60mph which didn’t happen before and caused uneven wear on my tires over only a couple days as shown in the pictures. I had to bring it to a different shop and ask them to rebalance my tires and they told me that whoever installed and balanced my tires did it wrong because they aren’t supposed to use outside wheel weights on aftermarket wheels and changed it to inside weights for me. the person from the other shop that helped rebalance my tires was suggesting I bring it back to big o tires to fix it or I could just do it at their shop right now and get my car right. I just chose to do it at their shop because I don’t want my wheels to get scratched up even more. staff was cool, but just didn’t handle the wheels with care, balanced it wrong, and made me spend more money to get it rebalanced and have the other shop remove the outside weights and change it to the inside ones.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR MANUAL CAR HERE!!! I came in for a patch on one of my tires which admittedly they did a fine job with. Staff was nice too, but when I went out to grab my car the whole block smelled like clutch... The manager was driving my car down the street with the windows down trying to air out the smell, but it was raining. So now I have a burnt clutch and water all over the door panels. Not sure why one of the employees would hop in a manual car when they clearly had no clue how to drive one. I mean I haven't shredded a clutch that half that bad since I was a child leaning to drive for the first time. This place is probably fine if you drive an automatic but don't bring your manual here.

Made an appointment online for brake inspection and brake repair. When I showed up they said they probably wouldn't even have time to look at it because they are a first come first serve shop. I told him I made an appointment but he said the appointment only guaranteed service, which is untrue because I was unable to get service because they are first come first serve shop.

Took my fleet vehicle here for a tire issue. Tony was very helpful and communicative. I picked the car up within hours. The entire staff was friendly. I will come back here with my personal vehicle. A great place to have in the neighborhood.

I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism at Big O Tires. I researched buying the tires outside of San Francisco but found the cost either higher or equal to Big O. Plus the convenience of having them close by. I recommend them.

7 monthes ago I took my car in for new breaks they told me I need all my breaks replaced plus tires I said wow ok .. got a bill for 2000$ turns out only my back brakes were replaced at the moment I spoke with my lawyers I will be suing for not only over charging me but risking my life!!! I have the old breaks to prove the unprofessional work from this location just horrible!!! The new mechanic I went to because somthing was wrong with my car but I’m no mechanic so I don’t know what the issue was he aprooved that they were not replaced for a very very long time and there’s is an amens difference between the back and front breaks and does not Look even close to being replaced at the same time even tho the back brakes work harder then the front this location are scammers be careful

As a black person in San Francisco, I still cannot wrap my head around the extent of horizontal discrimination from my fellow Asian orient human beings. Unfortunately had the all too familiar experience at this store from some jerk who seems to be their lead rep. Another rep requested I make a call and get back to her. As I walked around looking for her to provide the feedback, this man yelled noisily at me in front of other customers like I was going to steal from them. He ranted about me being suspicious. I work in tech and drive a Tesla. Can't imagine what I'd need badly enough to steal in a tire shop when I have never shoplifted my entire life. STOP ALL HATE - AGAINST ASIANS, BLACKS, OR ANYONE. We all share this planet together.

I was serviced at the counter by Mr. Leung. It was the end of the day and I took my vehicle for an alignment. When I was asked to pay I was informed that they didn’t take Apple Card. This is my preferred form of payment and the only type of payment I came prepared with. When I said I didn’t bring any other form of payment with me. Mr Leung said they would not return me my vehicle until they received payment. I asked if there was any other way of delivering payment such as providing a card number, any way to make a payment so I could get my car back. For context I live 40 miles from this shop, I needed my car returned to be able to go home and take it to work the following day. Mr. Leung was telling me that they would not be returning my car and I was out of options. I didn’t have time to leave and return with a different form of payment because it was closing time. In the end the situation was fixed. I’m angry with the way Mr Leung presented my options. The way it was implied that they would not be able to help me and I would be left stranded without a vehicle. I felt that the situation could have been fixed in a way that didn’t cause the distress and worry I experienced.

Needed a tire asap and they where the only shop to have them in stock. They fixed it within a hour! Definitely recommend them as my car is low,and they got it done smoothly without me needing to call off work the next day to get it fixed. Thank you bigO Team! S/O to Will Pak n Wilian Hernandez!!! Today was my first time visiting. The customer service was exceptional. They were able to get me in immediately. I had a nail in my tire, and they were able to mend it. I was in and out in probably less than 15 min and at a reasonable cost of $50.

You do not trust this shop without looking the invoice before you leave from the shop and pay your bills. They mark up 100% Wiper and charge other services fees without telling the customer up front. I got the bad experience from them by not verify in detail all the fees that they charged me before I allowed them to do the work and paid the bill. They just tell total costs. And I was surprised by looking at the invoice at home how much they charged me with fees that I did not know up front. And I called them, they blamed on me because I did not verify all the fees with them when I was at their shop. They did not want to address the problems with me on the phone because I already paid them. And they do not care customer services after I paid and left the shop.

Took a day and half to get a new tire. They were supposed to call me to come back the same day but they didn’t. Had to call and inquire. Also Over filled tire pressure when it should be 33psi. Did not give me back my green nitrogen tire valve cap
