My starter on my car went out, I had my car towed here in the afternoon and they had it done for me before they closed that same day! Jon was great and communicated well, he even stayed a couple minutes after closing so I could come get my car after work and not have to wait until the next morning to get it!!! Great experience :)

Ah, Big-O Tires, the place where your wallet goes on a diet whether it wants to or not. I recently returned to this fine establishment for a simple tire repair—on a tire I just bought from them a few months ago. Silly me, expecting service on a product they sold me. But I had a feeling this visit would be a masterpiece of disappointment, given that this particular location has always exuded a certain used-car salesman meets infomercial energy. And wouldn’t you know it? They outdid themselves. They informed me—oh so regretfully—that my tire was beyond repair and that I needed a brand-new one. But wait, there’s more! Because I have a dual-battery Tesla, they insisted that I couldn’t just replace one tire—I needed all four replaced. Yes, all four, on a set of tires that they themselves sold me in October 2024. Today is February 1st, 2025. I’ll let you do the math while I try to decide whether this is incompetence, opportunism, or an avant-garde performance piece about corporate greed. Bravo, Big-O. You’ve managed to turn customer service into a hostage negotiation.

Today, I had my tire change and brake pad service done by Jesus and his incredible team, and I couldn’t be happier! From the moment I walked in, Jesus took the time to listen to my concerns about the safety of my car. As a single mom, keeping my vehicle safe for my little one is a top priority, and Jesus made me feel heard and valued. Not only did he thoroughly explain what needed to be done, but he also helped me make a plan that was within my budget without compromising the quality of the work. It’s not often you find a team that is both professional and compassionate, but Jesus and his crew truly exceeded my expectations. DO NOT GO HERE - their customer service is terrible! My daughter, a college student brought her car in for a tire rotation and oil change. After just driving 1000 miles, her lug nuts came off and she almost lost her wheel (thank god that did not happen). The mechanic who serviced her car (not BIG O) and replaced the lug nuts also said the oil was VERY dirty and in desperate need to changing. This should not be the case after 1000 miles! When I tried to obtain a refund for the money I had to spend at the mechanic, they would not cooperate with me. VERY DISAPPOINTED in Jesus, the manager!

I had a flat tire on 78E and I live in Pacific Beach. Big O on Garnet Ave was the best place I could have gone. Sean Carlin got me a deal I couldn’t refuse, he ordered my 4 tires and I was overdue for an oil change, hadn’t had an alignment since 2015, which is how old my tires were, while I strolled Garnet and had lunch at McDonald’s which is right across the street, all this was being done on my car. When I drove home I felt like I had gotten my power steering back, I was shocked at how amazing it drove. It felt brand new. Thank you Big O for the great service and the great price.

Big O did a good job. John the manager was helpful. They were able to help out when I lost a caliper bolt traveling. Service completed in one day (Sunday). For that I am grateful.

Had a flat tire because of a near accident right before my mom came to town. Talked with John and he was awesome. Had to drop my mom off with a super quick turnaround time and John was so friendly and got us in and out so I could drop her off in time for the train. Great experience! Thanks again John☺️

Picked up a nail in my tire and was able to get over to this Big O Tires location in PB. I have never been to this location before but I needed to see if my tire could be fixed. The staff were helpful and polite and they fixed my tire. I appreciated how they did not try to up-sell me on something. I will consider this shop when it comes time for new tires because my experience today reflects well on their professionalism and honesty. Thank you as well to Shaun C for the assistance today with the tire repair!!

This Big O Tire location was a godsend. We recently just returned to the United States from being in Italy for 4 years and our SUV needed a lot of care. I originally took it to a GM dealership and they dropped the ball big time. I was not happy with their service so I contacted BIG O TIRE and they hit a home run on the first swing. John, at the front desk went above and beyond finding everything that the dealership missed and corrected the things I had originally paid the GM dealership to fix. John and the Big O Tire technicians deserve every praise that I can muster up. If it was not for them, I would surely be on the side of the highway with my hazard lights on asking for help. Once again, THANKS TO JOHN AND HIS TEAM OF TECHNICIANS FOR KEEPING ME ROLLING!

I had a positive experience at this Big O Tires. They open 30 minutes earlier than the competition, which got them my business. Jesus worked with me to get the right tires at a fair price. Angel is a wealth of information and was helpful. I was out of there with new tires - in less than an hour. I'll return.

This Big O leaves a stain on the company's reputation as a whole. Service is sleazy and lazy. My car began leaking oil after my oil change. Thinking something was wrong with my engine, I went to the shop to have them check it out immediately to prevent any damage. I had to Uber to work and leave my car overnight because my shift ended after their business hours. After being assured that my car would be taken care of, I was heavily pressured with a $65 "storage fee" the next day when I called about pickup details and timing. Turns out, the reason my oil was leaking was because the mechanic tightened the bolt with his hand instead of a wrench (which was told to me by the manager). Essentially, their negligence caused the oil leak that led to the urgent fix and then threatened extra charges when I couldn't immediately pick the car back up (charged $100 for the oil change, which is ridiculous on its own). Customer service from the manager is terrible and I highly advise against giving them your business.

I am from Arizona and was on a Bucket list trip that I won from work and I was with my wife and 3 kids and ended up needing what I thought was 1 tire replaced and I normally shop at discount but I was not able to get an appointment and Thank God because the universe wanted me to go to Big O and the service rep John that helped me out was soooo professional and over the top courteous to me from the jump. I had a pre existing shock and motor mount issue that I knew needed to get fixed but the quote I got from the mechanic in AZ was to much for me at the time so I was delaying.😕 Thanks to John and the Big O team My wife's truck was taken into these professionals hands and I never felt pressured or like they wanted me to get more services than I needed.. which is refreshing! . John took the time to inform me about the details of the services needed and the options available and offered any discounts that he could to help me get in the road ASAP. It was refreshing to not have the bad feeling of getting ripped off and instead to see customer service at its best. John paid for my Lyfts while they serviced my family vehicle and made sure me and my family were able to make it to our scheduled jet boat event on time and made haste while fixing the vehicle and putting new life into our families day and vehicle. Will now be a Big O fan and customer for life. I can only hope that the Big O in AZ is as Amazing as the pros that helped my family in a pinch and made the biggest difference in our family trip. The truck drives like new and my family is safe and secure to travel now thanks to our visit and the truck road smooth as butter back to our home in AZ.. Thanks John and Big O 👍 🙏 🙌 😀

I feel i was overpriced them knowing i was from out of town and had no choice but to pay what they charged. Was not happy with the manager was not nice and they were almost closing so they just wanted me out so they could go home, it was very obvious

I brought my Corolla in for a warranty on a flat tire. They ordered the tire because it wasn't in stock, told me to return the next day for installation. The quote for installation was around 75$. The attendant, who was actually the manager, slid the oage towards me to sign. I asked about the price. His answer was, "Labor and Gavin Newsome..." I signed, ready to return. Upon review of the estimate, I noticed several charges... a TPS kit, road hazard warranty and other things. I called the shop first thing in the morning asking if the had started to mount my tire yet. Shaun, who answered said, "No." I informed him that I didn't want the TPS kit. He said, "No problem, the tire hasn't even been delivered yet." I returned to the shop two days later. When I arrived to pick up my tire and have it installed back on my car, I was presented with a bill for the TPS and road hazard warranty abd other items. I said, "I called, talked to Shaun, he said,'No problem, we wouldn't install it'". The manager told me it was already done... He then called Shaun, who wasn't there, while I stood by. Thinking I couldn't hear him, he reprimanded Shaun for not canceling that, and hung up the phone. Then, he started typing notes into the system. Instead of putting the truth in the documentation, he wrote that I refused to pay even though I ordered the work. He was covering his butt, and misrepresenting me. I don't appreciate that kind of characterization of my integrity. Then, as I was leaving, my TPS light were on. He told me it was because I had faulty ones. I asked if they checked the pressure on my other tires... I was told, "Yes, but if I want, I could have them checked again." Turns out, the oressures weren't checked, tires were low, and my sensors work just fine. Big O is a tire shop. They didn't treat me honestly, didn't check my tires, lied to me about the billing, misrepresented me on documentation and laugh about it. I wouldn't do business here if they paid me. Choose an honest establishment, not one that tries to nickel and dime you and then try to make you seem like you're victimizing them for their predatory actions. Shame on you Big O Pacific Beach.
