Broke my ignition by not pressing release button to turn back key for removal. I’ve had this happen before unfortunately. Not willing to take responsibility saying the car still started when backing it out of bay. I noticed something wrong immediately and when key was removed after I moved the car 150’ and tried to start it again and the ignition would not work. This will be the second time I’ve fixed the same thing on this car from people not knowing about the key release. Manager Chris said I should have told them about the release, true….. but don’t just break it into submission if you can’t figure it out. Maybe ask. I don’t review often. Only for exceptional or terrible service. Update: The district manager asked me for the chance to make it right which I reluctantly agreed to since the store is under new management. The store manager Russell called to inform me that my cylinder went bad and was the problem and that they could fix it and would provide me a quote. I looked at repairpal to see what a fair price may be as I’m lazy and busy. The quote came back high in my opinion (around $480) so I declined and took the car back. I actually believed the new store manager Russell so I was quite surprised when I began removing ignition components myself. See the videos below. I’m no master mechanic but I’m getting the feeling I was lied to twice. Be careful.

Big O Tires does good work, but they seem more focused on making money than taking care of their customers. They’re not very friendly, but they get the job done. If they worked on being nicer, I’d definitely give them five stars.

Bryce was great , professional & knowledgeable-however just as I left the shop I noticed my car was pulling to the left after paying for an alignment and four brand new tires… I will be calling in the morning I don’t have time today

We came in to fix a tire, a nail was in it. Big O noticed that the tires seemed very old. While the mileage was relatively low the tires were seven years old and showed signs of degradation. This was a big concern for us since it's the vehicle for our family of four. We got four new tires and the job was done early. Thank you so much!

I took my truck in to big o because of a flat tire, they said the tire was done because of too many flats, they replaced the tire. Their customer service was great, prices are the best in town, I will continue to be a repeat customer. Out of 10, they get a 10 .

My wife went here to get a oil change. They rotated her tires without her approval. And charged her for it and told her the next time she would get a discount due to this. I just spoke with the manager at the Big O tire. At this establishment, he was racist beyond belief,Without i'm calling me out of my name( talking down to me). The manager would not let me explain anything . he would not let me say completely what happened and continued to talk over me and told me that if I would be quiet that he was getting off the phone. which he just hung up on me mid sentence. ( I did not use no profanity during our whole encounter, and I did not raise my voice so not to scare him.

Usually a Big O fan. Went to the Boulder store for a trailer tire, none available today but in stock at Rainbow. Okay, drive over to the store and they don’t have the 10 ply. They can order for me to install tomorrow, but I stay closer to the Boulder shop. Went out to talk with my partner about the options that I was given. When I came back in, Russell, who told me it was his first day said that he couldn’t order a tire for another store. I wish I had not driven an extra half hour one way in traffic with my pull behind trailer for this to happen. I can call the other shop myself but it feels like someone dropped the ball

What incredible thieves. I went to them a year back to fix a hole in tire with a normal sized spare tire. When they installed the fixed tire, they STOLE my good spare tire, put a tiny spare tire that is FLAT. Now that I need the spare tire, I find the wrong spare tire, and it's flatt too. THIEVES.

Had to bring my car back to time plus take off work for this shot. Brought it in for a flat and got oil change. Then realized that the rear tire was not fix the manager Chris was on here phone half of the time doesn’t even know what happened. I would not recommend to go there on rainbow and 215. They suck

I made an appointment For a balance and rotation of my tires . The Receptionist ignored me for 2 minutes while cleaning her nails . Then looked up at me and can i help you . She checked my milage then told me that my vehicle was too old for them to balence and rotate. So big o should not have given me the appointment. And wasting my time.The receptionist told me that if i buy a set of their tires that they would do the work on my car .really ,There's no way to give the zero stars , so they get one

Finally decided to leave this review. I am being nice and giving 3 stars, and only because of their tire program being pretty good. So far, they seem to do a good job with with the tires and deserve recognition for that. Now...the rest. I started getting my oil changes and other mechanical needs fixed here at this Big O because the tire experience was good and I had moved away from the Mechanic I used in the past. Back in Feb/Mar they did an Oil change for me. The mechanic was not competent enough to put a filter on properly, and I ended up stranded at 1am in Barstow in some sketch 24/7 mechanics shop, and ended up having to drive quite a few miles with no oil and who knows what damage that might have done. I dealt with that situation with them directly, and they made it right. For that more credit to them, as a store. Hence 3 stars. Well...fast forward to last July for my next oil change. They did it. AGAIN. Luckily I was in a location that I was able to handle it and fix it myself when I discovered their mistake. I MIGHT do tires here again...maybe. But they will not get a wrench within a mile of my cars motor, ever again. Two times cant even get an oil change right? Really?! Thats getting to levels of just pure unadulterated incompetence not just a few random mistakes...

Man, When I tell you that they literally saved me that day..I mean it! Both of my front tires split on the freeway pretty close by and I was in a pickle. I got my car towed to WalMart across the way just for them to refuse me and get yelled at because I didn't know what kind of tires I needed. I mean look..I'm just a girl, okay! Anyways from WalMart, my bestie and I tried Sams Club since we were already in that parking lot just for them to tell me they also didn't have the tires that I needed. So, I'm like what do I do now? I Google "tires" and guess who shows up? Big O Tires, duh! I called and immediately went over there. I explained my situation and they took care of everything immediately. I went to get food and yap with my bestie at the Carl's Jr. in the same plaza and by the time we got back they were done! Thank you, Big O Tires!!

Update from previous review from Friday Sept 13th. Today is Sept 18 (wed) and after returning Sept 17th (Tues)was told new alternator that was put in was not good…. They said they would replace it under warranty and that they would call when part was received. I never received a call and after following up this morning I was told part hadn’t arrived. Followed up 3 hours later and was told part came in but was returned because bad alternator needed to be returned before leaving (good) alternator. I never received a call explaining the situation. I returned with my vehicle hoping that this does not turn into an all day affair- after previous days with water pump, battery and serpentine belt taking days to replace due to (parts issues). My vehicle is a Bronco sport 2021- yeah only 3 years old! I just want my ‘battery alert light/ due service’ to stop showing on my dash. This has been an on going issue since Sept 6!!!! I’m tired of looking at and being in this repair shop! I’m tired of being held hostage due to not being a mechanic or being rich….. I would give a poorer rating but I’m chalking a lot of this up to poor communication and I’m doing my damnest to give them the benefit of the doubt due to my previous history with coming here as well as the mechanic ‘Junior’ who has worked his tail off to resolve this issue….

We t rheir to fulfill the 1 yr warranty i got for an alignment and balance and was dtop mid repair for an icnident at a previous store the day prior where they did not complete the work and i left with a check engine light and codes poppong for my engine being told a district manager told them to quit qorking on my car cause idk why cause im filing a complaint woth corporate onlinw for a different store and i didn not get anger or lose my temper today so now i paid 175 dollars for nothing a service that didnt get completed and a warranty they refuse to fuflfill

I hate getting flats while not near home. I was alone and not about to do it myself, but I was lucky, I saw a Big O Tires near where I was. I had not used them before, but I was desperate. They were so nice. I had picked up a nail. They did not need to replace my tire nor did they try to convince me to do anything I did not need done. They simply fixed my tire. The price was super reasonable. Now it did take a minute because I was without a reservation and they had other customers, but the staff was so nice I did not care. They had a nice waiting area and that place, for a tire shop is clean. I was very happy. I am now a fan of Big O Tires.

Just had 4 new tires put on our fleet van. The team over at this location were great to work with (managers name was Jim I think). The team over at 7145 S Rainbow got the job done right by the time they promised.

So earlier this year I had bought 2 new tires from the Big O Tires shop located on Maryland and Desert Inn and over the weekend I got a nail in my tire. Now when I bought the tires it came with a 3 year warranty for tire replacement should anything happen to my tires. And now that I'm finally having the chance to fix my tire. I'm being told that the replacement is free however to get the tire changed or even reinstalled is going to cost me $73. Next time I'll just pay more money for a tire and get a warranty and free installation from Discount Tires. Because that's where my mom and younger brother get their tires from and that's what they do for them. And then not to mention that when I spoke with the employee yesterday about setting up to get my tire fixed she told me it would cost $30. Why am I now having to pay almost 2.5 times that amount? To get this one tire replaced is costing me half of what I paid for the tire in the first place

When it rains it pours. I had to go to big O tires three different times in one week for three separate issues. Each time, Jim and his team did an excellent job of helping me to feel welcomed and at ease. You can’t ask for much more than that from a tire shop. Visit Jim and his team at big O with confidence. Adding to my review (a few weeks later)—we realized we needed two tires in short order before my son left for college. Khrys (new manager) and Takiyah were so accommodating in getting us onto tires we were comfortable sending our kid to college with. The whole thing was done so quickly and we appreciate them. New management, same great customer service. We’ll be back!

I called Big O Tires to replace 2 back tires on our 2017 Chevrolet Express conversion van. They were very behind schedule due to the upcoming 4th of July weekend, but I was just grateful that they were able to squeeze me in. They did excellent work.

Today I went to get all 4 tire pressure sensors replaced and reprogrammed. I was helped by the manager, Jim. Although, I was waiting there for a long while due to some technical difficulties, I greatly appreciate Jim’s customer service. He was able to offer me a discount on my service and a free oil change for next time, for the long wait. I will most definitely be back! 👍

Took my car in on a Sunday to have a nail taken out and patched up. Was told it would take 30 minutes max. 3 hours later it’s still not done! My car was parked at the front and sitting there finished. No workers came and told me it was finished it took me to see it parked at front to ask it is done which it was. I’m a Lyft/Uber driver I would expect the standards to be good if you want my repeat and frequent business, you won’t be getting it again.

Overall a good experience. Jim was very helpful and friendly. Only downside was having to come back when my tires came in stock. And I don’t think my fluids were filled when the oil change was done.
