Purchased $1800 tires for my son’s 4Runner, and after he left the shop, he noticed a noise with every rotation of the rear tire that wasn’t there when we dropped it off. When he went in to have the lugs torqued, he mentioned it to them, but neither he nor they had time to deal with it at that moment, so they said to bring it back in when he could. Well, 3 months later the noise was still there and we finally brought it back in to be looked at. The manager went out and used a crowbar to wrench at it and told us to drive it and let him know if it wasn’t fixed. Well, it was undrivable after that, and Big O diagnosed it as a cracked rotor. Unable to get it back to Missoula so my husband could fix it, we had Big O do the work, which they were able to do for us that day. After getting home and talking to my husband about what had happened, we called to inquire how this ended up be a fault and financial responsibility of ours. After a few phone calls and a solution informally made with the manager, we were ghosted for a month. I then wrote a 1-star review, and was met with very rude interactions online with the owner where he posted my full name on the review without consent, claimed I was trying to extort money from the company, and very rudely mocked us about our experience. I had to reach out multiple times on various platforms, contact the BBB, and seek legal counsel to finally get this resolved. Archie was finally the one that was able to smooth things over, and talk reasonably with us to find a solution; which is all we wanted from the start. So this is my updated review with 2-stars rather than 1-star review. *Make sure to check out the Yelp! Reviews as well, as they are not great.

These guys helped me out big time! Got my tires rotated and balanced, flushed my power steering and got my alignment straight. I had an unnoticed leak in my power steering and brought my car back a day later and they fixed it right up no problem. Thanks!

These guys are great. I’ve had multiple instances of needing my car issues rectified quickly, to the point where they know us by name now. Travis in particular has called me down when I’ve frantically called because some minor issue or another has taken place with the car I rent on Turo. He has a very steady, calm demeanor - which makes my anxious self take a beat, and trust that Im in good hands with the guys there. I recommend them to any and everyone!

I have been treated courteously there every time. That is quite important as our town grows into a city. I could buy tires anywhere but I want the experience of being a valued customer. I’ve bought tires for multiple vehicles there and some light alignment and brake work. I even asked them to reprint a receipt with my “married” name, no eye rolls, just respect. Thank you big o, and love the heavy metal music blaring out of the bays!

We were in Bozeman for a hockey tournament on 1/4/2025 when we discovered leaving the rink that we had a low tire. After putting air in it and it again going low, we knew we had a problem. We originally stopped at Firestone (first place we came to) and they said they couldn't even look at us until the next day. Drove down to Big O' Tires and they immediately got us in. They knew the pinch we were in to get back to the rink for another hockey game and worked speedy and diligently. We also got 2 new wiper blades there. We were so impressed with their timeliness, friendliness, affordability and would DEFINITELY recommend them! Wish we had one in Helena!! 5 Stars!

Best service ever!!!! I came in with an estimate from a few weeks ago prepared to put in an order and set up an appointment... they got me in SAME DAY right then and there! AND they finished earlier than the time they originally gave me! I also would like to give a special shout out and HUGE thank you to James, Travis, and Johnathan who absolutely saved the day! I have an electric seat that no longer goes forward. I totally forgot to mention that and so when I got my car back the seat had been moved naturally so they could drive my car. They had no obligation to help me with my own stupid seat problem but they did and got my seat back so I could be on my way! I've been coming here for a few years now and the service is always top notch. Thanks again for saving the day, guys!

I was traveling for Thanksgiving and I blew a tire when I was over 300 miles from home. After sitting in a different tire store for over 3 hours, they wanted to sell me a tire that was too small just to drive home on. I called around and Big O tires had my tire size in stock- but didn’t have time to install it. I had my little 4 year old with me and we had spent the entire day in tire stores already. We needed to get on the road, but it was looking like hours or days until I could get one tire put on. I called Big O tires on my way there again and pleaded my case to Travis. He had compassion on me when I told him the story and he installed a new tire in the parking lot within 40 mins. I truly appreciate the kindness he showed a stranger that day- I wasn’t just a number on a board but a human who needed help. And I will remember that for a long time.

I went into the 7th St, Bozeman today with an issue preventing me from from being able to remove my wheels and need 4 new tires. I met Travis and he assured me he could handle the situation. He put in more effort than he needed to to get me out my situation. Travis is amazing in his knowledge, professionalism and customer service. Take your tire needs to these guys!

Overpriced EVERYTHING. Charge double for parts and charge $150 for “diagnostic labor” despite telling them exactly what was wrong. There was no diagnostic. This place is a joke. Go elsewhere

We had a meltdown of our Ford work truck and Big O got us in right away. Even though the problem involved axles and U joints, they got all the parts right away and fixed it within hours. We were back in action by the next morning. Great repair, great service.

Over the last year and a half i've needed to quickly repair a flat tire twice. Big O Tires in Bozeman is just around the corner from where I live. In both circumstances I showed up within 15 minutes of closing. As someone who prides myself on hard work, I felt bad about asking for some help, but both in both circumstances, I needed to get somewhere for work the following day. Their team truly jumped at the opportunity to knock it out. If you're an honest person, than you can imagine that most people would be at whits end after a full day of hard work. But not at this shop. I was met with positivity and one very simple request "If you ever need to a new set of tires, we just ask you think of us." After a couple of 10 hour drives in inclement weather conditions, I felt it was time time to make a big purchase. I scheduled an appointment. I had something come up, they quickly re-scheduled me in with no questions asked. After being a challenging customer, they quickly and willingly accommodated me. For all of those reasons I went with the all season Big-O-Tire's. They were slightly more expensive than the other options. When I showed up, I was greeted by the same shop manager who has graciously helped me out the last three visits. After some fun banter, I walked across the street for a couple of beers at an great local beer house. By the time I came back, everything was ready. Not only did the shop manager/owner honor a holiday discount that I didn't know was active, but I left with a genuine smile on my face. This is by far the longest review i've ever left, and one of very few. At the end of 2024, it sometimes feels impossible to talk to people that respect and appreciate their work. More so, it's rare that you're met with genuine compassion and a willingness to give you a break. I can't recommend this crew, staff, or product better. I'm a Big-O-Tire customer for life. Overall my experience was decent. I ordered tires over the phone on Nov 4th. I was told they had to outsource 1 of the 4 tires I ordered. I expected it to take a little longer but I had to call about a week and a half after they had already arrived to learn that they came in. I think this was the fastest turn around for a set of new tires I’ve ever experienced. In and out in under an hour. The only downside is I didn’t realize Big O does not recycle old tires…or you have to ask… to my surprise the old tires were all loaded in my car in plastic bags.. so now I have to find out how to recycle the old tires..

Long time Big O customer, but not anymore. Currently have 265/65R17 Big O Big Foot tires. Brought in a Big O tire to repair, was told to leave it with them, which isn't a problem. However was told they don't have time to mount it on the vehicle for a couple weeks? Also, inquired about replacing the spare with a matching Big O tire and they said leave the spare with them and they can put a matching Big O Big Foot tire on the rim, but again no time to mount it for a couple of weeks. Got the repaired Big O tire back, charged $45 to repair their brand. The repair itself only involved tightening the valve stem. Has always been free to repair their tires in the past. Why buy Big O for terrible service, that's the question you need to ask yourself when in Bozeman. I'm sure other locations have better ownership/management.

WOW WOW WOW . What an Oscar award deserving service providers in Bozeman.After a restless driving around th whole town looking for a place where we could get help,we made our next stop at Big O Tires. We were warmly welcomed by Mr Travis Love who happens to be the store manager and he managed to squeeze us in their busy schedule of the day and we got our car tyres proffessional changed. The alignment was done properly so and the tyres seemed very nicely balanced too and they advised we can bring it back for check up after driving few miles. The prices are not that bad and the nice thing they go an extra mile and give you proffesssional advise on the maintanance your car needs for free. Last but least the whole team is just amazing,I forgot the name of our specific technician who worked on our car such an amazing gentleman.Thank you sir. Will be back soon. We were passing through Bozeman and punctured a tire. We looked for service in several local shops but this Big O made room for us, rush ordered a new tire and had us on our way. Travis and whole team were friendly, even replaced our wipers in driving rain. The service cost was half what i expected. Highly recommend

10/10 getting tires was so easy. And I have had bad luck this year with running over little fragments on the road causing small leaks. They fix them for free and super quick and easy every time!

Had a flat tire on our vacation. After 30 mins we are back on the road. Quick service, the tech that service the car also check the others tires for us and removed any pebbles stuck as well. Thanks.

I felt that this was a bad brake pad inspection. I have 4 wheels and the test result was 7mm, which is unlikely to be the same on all 4 wheels. So I decided to go somewhere else. In the end, I had to replace them because the test result was low and all 4 wheels were different. I felt bad about paying $35 for the inspection. **I have a complete receipt and inspection report.

Paid 35.- for a piece of paper telling me they couldn't do an alignment! Told me it s for the time there guy spent looking at my car( let's be noice and say 30m) so I LL just Really hope there paying there employees 70.- an hour ! I definitely would not recommend going here !
