We’re from JAX and finalizing a deal on a vehicle in Tampa. Called and spoke to I believe Anthony (apologies if I have the name wrong) about a pre purchase inspection. Anthony was very transparent and honest about the specific inspection we were looking for on our Lexus (which his shop did not provide). Even took the time to refer us to a Lexus specialist in the Tampa area. If we were local, wouldn't hesitate to take all our vehicles to Big 3 Diesel. Hard to find honest mechanics with exceptional professionalism and customer service these days.

This shop went above and beyond to be helpful and save me time and money. The technicians spent time on the phone with me explaining that needed to be done and they did excellent work. The inspections were thorough and the work is guaranteed. They are busy because they are good. It is hard to find a good mechanic- esp a good diesel mechanic- so this shop is worth its weight in gold.

Big 3 Diesel thoroughly inspected my SD F250 when I had the DEF check engine light illuminate. Not only did they repair that, other crical items were brought to my attention and given accurate estimates. First time there, but will definitely return!! Love the guard puppy as well...thanks guys!

Happy with my experience, will definitely be back Key notes for those of you who don't want to read through. -Communication was good, they answered all the questions I had -Inspection was $200 + tax but it was totally worth it to know everything you need to about the truck -Took time, but every good thing does. -Expensive but totally worth it so far (I've had it for a day) -My truck seems to be in very similar condition as how I gave it to them, I haven't had time to look thoroughly. Concern regarding how they drove my truck (I intend on taking really good care of my truck and would hope they did too) When I got in it, the average mpg had been reset after them parking it where it was. Which is a little skeptical but I'll let it go. Brought in my 2011 Ram 2500 SLT (6.7 Turbo Cummins) In for an inspection because I was having issues with what clearly seemed the turbo and felt I should just get a full inspection while they had it. I did my research on them and they seemed like a straight forward shop, and to be honest, I'd agree. I'm a high-schooler working two jobs and in extracurriculars so I needed someone I could trust with my pride and joy. I would say it was expensive, but I will also say, if you want a good shop with mechanics who are willing to do the right thing, be expecting to pay the money for their work. I did have to wait some time for the work to be done, as we had just come out of a few hurricanes in Florida the week prior, and shipping for a new turbo took a lot of time. They said they were getting it on a Monday, They contacted us that same monday afternoon and we picked it up same day. They did definitely express their concerns as to things I should likely get done as soon as possible, but because I'm short for cash right now, especially with all my college preparations costing lots of money, I just couldn't do them, but they were happy to provide "Band-Aid" like solutions so when I do have the money I can be right back in without any further issues regarding the priors. When I got in my truck and started it up for the first time, I was so happy to just have it back and get to drive it without the issue I was having that prevented me from driving it safely. I did notice that they had reset my fuel consumption monitor after they parked it where I was (which is a little skeptical) I'd hope that they would treat it with respect and love as though it is their own vehicle. I know to others it may not be much, but I spend the majority of my time and money in/on the truck. So I would hope they drove it respectively and accordingly (just to find the issues at hand). I turned the truck on and when I pulled up the fuel consumption, it provided that the average was .8 mpg (since last reset) which sounds kind of impossible considering it should be 16-22 mpg (I get about 19). So maybe they reset it, and the .8 was just from idling. Otherwise I haven't found anything missing or changed (haven't really looked). My truck is running amazing compared to before. The turbo sounds better, the exhaust break (vgt actuator in the turbo was messed up) sounds and works great. Haven't towed my boat yet but I'll find out. Overall, it's been a great experience, would suggest it, and will be back. I needed a shop that not only works on all vehicles, but specializes in diesel, and I found just that.

I had heard about Big 3 Diesel over a year ago but never visited this shop. I tried to set an appointment at the ford dealership for an oil change but was told it’ll be another week before they can get to my truck. I decided to give Big 3 a try. I was able to set an appointment for the same day !!! Once I arrive, I was really, really impressed with the service from the beginning to the end ! Me and Anthony had some great conversations while I waited on my truck. I would definitely recommend this place 100% to anyone. This place is now my 1 stop shop going forward !!!! I finally was led to another place that is fair, honest and does good work. I am thankful for that. I tried multiple places to get an alignment on my C class RV. Most refused and those that did not wanted up to $1000. Ridiculous. It was not easy for them, but they did it for me and it tracks very well. I have since had other work done also. Like a trusted doctor, I will keep them. My hope is they continue and prosper.

First off, the service here was top tier. Anthony and his crew at Big 3 are friendly, respectful, professional, and very honest. I brought my Rav4 here to get some work done and will definitely be bringing it back in the future. Not only was my vehicle done in a timely manner, everything that needed their attention got 100% of it. I will definitely be sending people I know here because of the fantastic job they did.

Big 3 diesel is absolutely amazing. I dropped my truck off. They had it back to me in a couple days. Anthony and his guys there are definitely top-notch. Not only do they work on diesels. They also work on gas vehicles, so I will 100% be sending everyone I know here thanks again Anthony and Big 3!!!

First off, I wanted to say thank you to Anthony for being very honest and transparent about the actual issue with my work van. Long story short, I took my van to a different shop local to me with concerns about my transmission. I was informed by the shop that I needed to have it replaced and that it was “leaking” which if most of you don’t know, that can be a hefty price without labor included. I was greeted by a friendly staff member and Anthony took my vehicle in for a diagnostic and confirmed the leak is located elsewhere. Anthony took it for a test drive as well to truly get a feel for it. He also took photos and explained everything thoroughly and meticulously without leaving a single detail out. If you’re a potential customer reading this review, I highly recommend this shop for all your diagnostics/issues, and repairs needed. Thank you so much Anthony!

Great service and attention to detail. I was fortunate to find them with a google search. Had some issues with my Colorado diesel and felt the local Chevy dealership couldn’t get the job done. Big 3 made the repairs at a fair price. Definitely recommend them any service or repair.

I travel and have over 290K miles on my truck. Over the years I have used a lot of different mechanics. I needed to find a good reliable mechanic here in the Tampa area of Florida. I’m now satisfied it’s Big 3. I wanted to feel confident while driving and towing my trailer. I had quite a few concerns and they took the time to check and then service each one. Driving away I felt the difference in the handling of my truck and now I can confidently and safely continue my journeys. I will definitely be back from now on.

Had a new fuel tank with increased capacity installed and they did a great job. After a week, they called to make sure everything was okay. I will go back for any future work.
