Benchmark is THE place to go for any and all car troubles! I was recommended this place from a family friend and I’ve been taking my car to them ever since! They are incredibly friendly and don’t charge you for things you don’t need!

Horrible service. I arrived for an appointment, no one was at the front and when someone finally come out they turned me away and told me if I cannot wait I do not get the service. Avoid at all cost.

As a female who just moved here, alone, with no family in the area; I was bummed when my Serpentine belt broke and couldn't drive my jeep liberty. Manchester auto across the way wanted to charge me $200 (labor) plus parts, Benchmark $25 labor. My dad is a mechanic but out of state, walked me through the belt change, turns out the ac compressor seized up. My dad said $700-1k for this type of job. I called around for bids. $2,300 from the dealer. 2 shops couldn't get me in for over a week.... Hamza and his shop got me back on the road in just about 24 hours, before the holiday weekend and in proper range for pricing. Cannot say enough good things about these guys. Fair dealing. Fair prices. Great work. Great customer service. Fast turn around. What more could ya want... feel free to research yourself but 5 stars 🌟 from me

Used to really appreciate the service here. I even referred friends here. Sadly my last experience was so bad that I've lost faith in this business. Maybe they just had a bad day (or week). Idk. Hopefully it was a unusual customer experience. I wish them the best.

Crankshaft position sensor issues; brought in my own cps with the sku from the owner manual and was immediately told (and I quote) "[the part] wouldn't work". There was no mention of warranties. So I went to auto zone bought jack stands and installed the part myself. Now my tachometer works, better fuel economy and no problems starting the vehicle. I will update if my after market cps doesn't last a year (the oem warranty). Otherwise I updated my review because the all caps seemed aggressive 😅

we were travelling and had ac trouble.benchmark checked it right away and found the problem.they repaired it and did not charge anything for it. these are caring people that did not take advantage of us when easily could have. Thank You Guys

Friendly staff. They know their stuff and won't over charge you or make up a repair. One time I bought a starter and we're going to have them put it in and it turned out the starter was fine, saving me the money.

This place is the absolute best! The guys are transparent, knowledgeable, accommodating, and have their customers best interest in mind. I have brought my car in several times for big and small repairs (gear shift replacement, catalytic converter replacement, brake change, oil change, tire repair, etc..). They have returned my car in a timely manner, and made the appropriate repairs at a fair price. If for some reason they can't do the repairs on site they will make recommendations for other 4+ star rating shops, or offer to take it there themselves. Thank you, thank you, thank you for always taking care of me and my "project car"!

Hamza is my hero! While driving home from work late-late Friday night my car started feeling bumpy. My first thought was a flat tire, but then the “check engine” light started blinking. I pulled into a gas station and googled what that meant… Message was clear that I should not drive it! I went home to figure out my plan and what places were open Saturday, and hallelujah I found Benchmark Auto Repair! I called 5 minutes after they opened, and asked if I got my car towed there, if they could get to it that day? After I described what happened- Hamza told me I could. I read reviews from several other places while trying to decide what to do. There’s always that concern you’ll get gouged for anything/everything and at the mercy of the experts honesty… What really made Benchmark stand out to me was not just the many (well deserved) positive reviews, but it was the responses to negative comments as well. Hearing the other side made a world of sense- and in my opinion- the complainers seeming simply unreasonable. I highly respected keeping it real like that! My intuition was right, and this place has earned my entire trust after just one visit. I’ve seriously never had my car fixed so fast! I’ve also never had someone look at my car upon arrival to diagnose the issue! (I’m usually told to just leave it there, and won’t even be given a guess as to what to expect) For that reason, I’m never going to Dobbs again!! (They’re idea of “taking good care of you” is dropping your car off at 7am, you getting a call around 1pm-2pm to tell you what they found/ how much it costs, then calling another 2-3 hours later if/when it’s ready) Benchmark didn’t know me whatsoever, never seen my car, I didn’t have an appointment, and they took better care of me than what I’d even expect of a friend doing a big favor. There was absolutely no pressure to try to sell me more stuff. Zero guilt of “You probably should…” It was straight up- “This is the problem, and we will fix it for this amount” No fuss, no uncertainty, no unpleasant surprises- only exactly what I needed! I work in the service industry and anyone who says their staff isn’t friendly, doesn’t understand they’re not a server at Applebees to greet you with a cheesy smile. They’re skilled mechanics who’s job isn’t hospitality, it’s to take care of/ give attention to your vehicle! If you want a charismatic salesman to fix your car- you are wanting to be taken advantage of… Hamza was nice to me, made some jokes, and his smile was genuine. I was shocked that my car went from un-drivable, to being repaired in less than 2 hours for a couple hundred bucks. I was utterly dreading dealing with the whole situation and it ended up being easier than I could have ever imagined. Car trouble sucks. But when it happens- to make the best out of a bad situation- I will certainly be loyal to this shop from now on for anything that could come up in the future! Terrible service. When I showed up for my appointment he refused to honor the warranty and even after I offered to pay out of pocket he refused to provide me service. He had an extremely nasty attitude. I will never go there again.
