Everyone from the front desk office to the technician inside the shop, were very professional and kept me updated on the condition of my truck. The text messages and videos of the work and findings being done is a great example of a Top Notch business! This shop is by far the best I’ve seen and been to, hands down!

I was disappointed with my recent experience with Belden. I took in my 2018 Chevy Equinox for an alternator replacement and was quoted a price that seemed high to me, about $500 for the part and $500 for labor. When I asked if there was any way for the price to be lowered I was told no, that they had already waived the diagnostic fee so there werent any other discounts they could offer. Being in a hurry to get the repair done, I agreed to the quoted price. When I spoke to my boyfriend about the price he immediately started calling around and within 15 minutes had found 2 other places who quoted me a price for about $450 less. I called Belden and told them that I didnt want them to do the repair and that I had found another place to do it for less. About 30 min later, I received a call back from Belden telling me that they would take about $250 off the price they had originally quoted me. Full disclosure, Belden's work would include a 3 yr warranty on the parts and labor while the other place was only offering me a 1 yr warranty. Also, Belden was installing AC Delco parts while I dont know what brand the other place was only going to use (only that the part was new and not rebuilt). That being said, I can understand a price difference between the two but $450 seems excessive. In the end, I went with Belden because my car was already at their shop and they said the repair would be done quickly but the fact that they didnt offer me the lower price to begin with is disappointing. To me, it seems like they quoted me an unnecessarily high price and then when I decided to pass on their quote they brought the price down to a more reasonable one. This is all speculation on my part but with how things played out, I dont feel that I'm being unreasonable. I've had other repairs done at Belden's and I wouldve continued to go to them but I no longer trust them to provide me a fair price so I wont be using them anymore. Just super disappointed with the experience since the past work they had done on my cars was good and I felt comfortable taking my vehicle to them. Edit 1/13/24 I'm updating my review from 2 stars to 4 based on the customer service I received. Got a call from Antonio with Beldens after I picked up my repaired car and we discussed my dissatisfaction with the experience. This follow-up has made all the difference to me. I really appreciated Antonio's sincere desire to understand my complaint. He listened to my issues and offered his explanations but never made me feel as if he was dismissing my complaints. He just wanted to understand where they had failed to live up to expectations and then offered solutions on how to resolve them. After this conversation, Belden has earned my trust back and I'll continue to take my cars to their shop. Thank you Antonio!

Belden's Automotive on Prue Road is an excellent shop! They're not the cheapest on price but will definitely take care of all your automotive needs. Their staff is honest and very friendly. They've never tried to upsell me on anything. And when something is still good enough to use for a while, they will let you know rather than telling you "It's an emergency and you need to replace it right away", like other shops try to do. Also, if you're military, active or Veteran, they offer a discount, which is very helpful in this economy.

I needed to have my car inspected, so I called Belden’s to see when I could go in. I had inspected my car with them last year and remembered how courteous they were. They were super friendly over the phone and said to stop by anytime. My mom and I arrived at a quarter to 5 pm and they greeted us right away. I even struck up a conversation with one of the guys at the front desk. I fractured my foot and told him the funny story. They parked my car at the front door to make it easier for me to get to the car. Also, my inspection was on the house, to minimize my time standing. I will definitely be back. I took my vehicle in for a low oil pressure indicator warning that fluctuated on and off believing it was the oil sensor. When I dropped it off, the vehicle report came back showing I had a leaking oil pan gasket and some additional hoses and other things that needed to be maintained as well as the oil sensor. They replaced the oil sensor and the gasket and the other little things for $ 2,185.57 and then told me the oil sensor did not correct the problem and gave me a discount on that of approximately $300 but told me I needed to replace the engine at about $15,000.00. They should’ve told me I needed to replace the engine before they did any work beyond the oil sensor.

This is my go to auto shop! Justin and Anthony are exceptional at their jobs and they’re always so welcoming and professional especially when it comes to getting your car fixed and back on the road! It’s hard to find auto shops that won’t start a downhill effect on your car needing more & more work done. So to have a shop now where I trust the mechanics for honest work and feedback is really a blessing. Being a woman and not knowing much about cars I really feel heard here and that I’m not being taking advantage of. All my questions and concerns are always answered. Don’t think twice about coming to this shop!

Belden’s does a thorough inspection of your vehicle when you bring it in. My car received 74 different checks, with only three items requiring attention. The fees are reasonable and the vehicle report is detailed and allows you to see what was repaired and what may need attention in the future. Front desk is very professional and you are greeted immediately. Repair time wait is not excessive, and technicians are patient and experienced.

Courteous service, BUT, I looked at footage from dashcam and noticed mechanic test drove my car hitting speed bumps at almost 30mph. I'm very upset about that. Otherwise good diagnostic service. I only paid for diagnostic service and decided to take my car to a cheaper friend mechanic.

I called about an Issue with the piece at the bottom of my car, and Antonio told me to bring it in. They went above and beyond by fixing it! I had an excellent experience at Beldens! While traveling out of town, I encountered a flat tire and brought my vehicle in for repairs. When I returned to pick it up, I was pleasantly surprised to learn they had repaired two flat tires. They truly went above and beyond by inspecting all my tires to ensure my safety for the trip home. Highly recommend their outstanding service!

Service and repair were fine, but disagree that the diagnostic charge is not applied if the repair is made. Just a sketchy way to add to the bill. I understand charging if the repair is not made.

Friendly, honest, top notch customer service, and responsiveness doesn’t even begin to tell the story.
