Ive never had a better experience in my life. I had a 4l80e rebuilt and the builder didnt tell me to seal a certain part with silicon causing fluid to leak out and fry the freshly built trans. Tim personally went through my trans and made it better than new. They also rebuilt the trans in my work truck that gets abused on a daily basis and after 9 months its still shifting perfectly!!!! Dont hesitate to have them work on your vehicle. THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK 100%

Over the phone Mr Barbic advised the problem I was having in the transmission. Was in fact a issue with the engine communicating with the transmission. A $398 repair solved the problem as he diagnosed! On a CL 600 Mercedes Benz another shop had said I needed a new transmission. Or a complete rebuild of the trans mission. I would seek out and have on another matter his learned opinion. For a second time he gave me very salient advice. That also saved me a good amount of money. I WAS DIRECTED TO HIM BY SERVICE MANAGER OF MERCEDES DEALER. WHO STATED I WOULD ONLY USE THIS GUY FOR YOUR TRANSMISSION ISSUES.

I met Tim by accident almost 20 years ago when I blew the transmission on my first car, and im so glad I did. The shop is top notch, these guys enjoy what they do and are committed to helping others. Ive brought wierd things to them and they spend the time to get it fixed and help me back on the road. Their prices are the best around no doubt! Ive never heard anything but good from my family and friends I refer to their shop. Once you become a customer you'll never go anywhere else. The transmission he built for me years ago has 100k miles on it so far and not one bit of trouble! I really appreciate these guys and I know you will too!

2008 Hummer SUT - this is my 2nd Hummer, awesome vehicles but known to have transmission issues. Barbic’s Transmission quickly got me in and identified the issue without trying to hard sell me on a rebuilt transmission like others. Quick, Professional and a shop that I would recommend to other Hummer owners.

A few weeks ago, I came here for a second opinion. I had a sensor issue that is generally a pretty easy fix and the other place I took it to replaced it but the issue persisted. I brought my car here for a second opinion, which they did for free, and told me the other mechanic replaced the wrong sensor, and even showed and explained to me the issue in depth. They saved me hundreds of dollars of what would have been useless repairs the other mechanic was suggesting. I would recommend them to anyone!

After self diagnosing a transmission issues and thinking my truck was dead I brought it in for a second opinion and it was probably the best decision I made all year, Gary and his staff were extremely professional understanding and saved me around $3500 worth of unnecessary work that might’ve been pushed by another company. Attention to detail! I spoke to Gary on the phone who greeted me when I arrived and took my information. When I returned to pick up my car I was pleased to be invited to meet the gentleman who rebuilt my transmission. I could tell Robert was a master of his craft by speaking with him for that short time. Then I was introduced to Steve and Austin who installed my new transmission. I felt welcomed into their world and really appreciated being treated more as a guest than just a customer. Keep up the good work.

Brought my Sons 7.3 in and needed a complete 4wd Transmission rebuild. Knowing it was not going to be a quick fix or cheap we were very nervous. Gary was very honest and transparent through the entire process and the price was extremely fair. I found Barbic via the internet without any personal reference from someone who had had work done successfully. Trying to find someone to trust with the recommendation to rebuild or replace a transmission in a vehicle is not easy, and I was super happy to find Gary. Gary was very knowledgeable with our particular vehicle (2003 Toyota Tundra) and I believe he did a great job of pricing out the various options and explaining the value of doing the job in different way. Ultimately, Barbic did a full rebuild of our transmission with new parts, instead of putting in a used transmission and is backing it with a warranty. The work was not cheap but I believe in the product and Gary's shop to back up their work. The truck drives great and was worth rebuilding the value into.

I had such an amazing experience with Gary at Barbics Transmission. I shipped my Honda minivan down here from California, needed a new transmission among other things. Gary went above and beyond to make sure the van was right, even though it took us a few tries. He was extremely communicative, answers the phone, all of the time, is kind and looks you in the eye when speaking. I highly recommend Barbic Transmission in Sarasota Fl.

Inspected for vibration at low speed that I thought was from the drivetrain. Gary the service manager knew from listening that it was corroded heat shield on exhaust, not transmission or transfer case, and took the time to put it up on a hoist and show me, both clamps that were supposed to hold it in place were corroded and loose. He was super nice and charged nothing for 15 minutes of his time. Honest and expert, this is the place to come for transmission, they won’t suggest unnecessary repairs.

You’ll find nothing here but good, honest people whose company mission is doing right by their customers here. Had a complete trans rebuild on a 2017 Silverado, had it back a couple times after initial overhaul for some shuttering. Turns out they got a bad batch of torque converters, every visit was warranty until they got the job done right, got me in and out every time, great attitudes from everyone I dealt with.
