It has been a long search, but I finally found a great repair shop at Bandy's - West Washington Street. Tom is patient, professional, and intent on explaining what they are doing to diagnose the source of the problems and offer options, If there are any, to me so I can make an informed decision. He is always respectful; and as a woman talking to a mechanic, that means a LOT. I have now had 3 cars in his shop, and he has been terrific each time! The first time, he was required to fix several issues another mechanic messed up. I highly recommend this repair shop.

My husband's car was over heating and he couldn't drive it at all, I called Tom and we dropped the car off that day. Tom was very matter of fact he didn't once try to jerk us around or add a bunch of stuff, he was up front and honest, he kept us updated the whole time. He had to put a new radiator in and the price was totally fair. He looked at the car on Monday and by Tuesday night we went to pick it up. We will never go anywhere else from now on. Thanks so much!

Tom always gives honest diagnostics and makes it clear when he's giving a recommendation and when something truly needs to be done. There aren't surprises later and the cost is exceptionally competitive. In most instances when parts are required, the repair is still completed the same day. I discovered this shop about 20 years ago and have never gone anywhere else since.

After reading numerous reviews about this shop, you're best bet is to go elsewhere. Who tells a customer they can't bring there own parts? Also, reading reviews that state "Tom" gets angry after customers call him out regarding services rendered or not completed the right way, please stay away from this shop or you will be ripped off and disappointed.

Even when they're busy they still dropped what they were doing to come and check the fluids in my grandparents car. Thankful that we pulled in because their car decided to bust a valve right in the parking lot and they got it fixed within a week!!

Polite, friendly, great pricing. Even though I am a woman, they treated me with respect and actually took me to view the issues with my car! I do know some things about cars that other places treat women like they don't know anything. Thank you so much Tom and the gentlemen!!!

Their service is excellent. I had a problem most places didn't want to touch. I needed a catalytic converter replaced. After a couple of phone conversations, I brought it in. Dropped it off at 11, picked it up by 4. The price was fair. I would recommend them to everyone.

This place used to be really good. It was my go-to shop. The last couple of years however they consistently misdiagnose issues and cost me unnecessary money without repairing the vehicles.

We were traveling across country and had stopped in Indianapolis for the night. We woke up the next morning to continue our journey only to find out that someone had stolen our catalytic converter. We found the first repair shop, which happened to be Bandy's. They were wonderful!! They took a look at our car and repaired it right away so we could get back home. They were friendly, helpful, and honest. If we lived in Indianapolis, Bandy's would be the place we would go. Thank you!!
