This shop is, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! My son and I were driving from the San Francisco Bay Area to Virginia, to take him to school because he received a full ride football scholarship. Just past Bakersfield, the car broke down and AAA towed the car to this shop late on Saturday night. The owner and his son ran a diagnostic and not only found the problem but informed us of why it happened. It was do to the last people who, "supposedly" worked on the car. He wrote up a detailed statement and provided us information on how to proceed to get the situation rectified. We had to be in Virginia in 2 days so we had to get the car back home, ASAP!!!! However, the shop is closed on Sunday’s but because of our situation, he graciously said that he would come in the following day so we could have the car towed back to the bay. I asked him if I could pay extra for him doing that but he only charged the standard overnight fee. We were able to get the car back and flew to Virginia. My Son is now at school and made it on time thanks to this shop. What could have disaster was avoided!!!! I appreciate you Sir!!!!

Jesse saved our day with a last minute call on a Saturday morning passing through Bakersfield on a road trip between Las Vegas and San Francisco... Our Mini cooper had bad misfire engine... Got the diagnose, spare parts and repairs done in barely two hours, and back on the road with 4 new ignition coils and spark plugs. Great and fast communication. So awesome to still be able to find great mechanics on call on weekends... Glad to be able to support local businesses like this one.

Very straight forward service at a fair price. I was a little thrown off about paying the service fee up front before the work or a mechanic arrived but I received the receipt upon completion of payment and the company delivered an effective kind and friendly mechanic to repair the vehicle. I would use them again. Thank you!

Jesse helped fix my vehicle's one of the systems related to the drivetrain and vehicle stability. He did his very best to get the repairs done timely and about three weeks later his repair activities seem to hold good. I'm happy with the service he provided.

Our car broke down in the grape vine and my insurance tow truck took us to Bakersfield were we ran into Jesse. Jesse was very considerate and very humble person, checked our car and told us the problem right away. The parts our car needed were no where near Bakersfield so this job tool sometime. However, the way Jesse treated me and my family was very welcoming and always on top on things. I have my car now and it has been running perfectly. I hope my car doesn’t break down in the grape vine again because it really sucked! But if it ever does again I would take it to Jesse. Thank you Jesse for all your hard work!

Our family was on vacation in Sequoia National Park and our truck started overheating on the steep mountain roads. Based on other Google reviews, we called Jesse at Bakersfield Mobile Auto Repair and he said "bring it in and I'll take a look right away". Jesse had the truck diagnosed, estimate supplied, and parts ordered within the hour. 24 hrs later, he had completed the work within the estimated cost and timeline. WOW! We're back on the road, family vacation-mode is back. If you're looking for a fair, honest, family-run mechanic shop, this is the place to go.

Jesse, the owner of the establishment was transparent and helpful from my first visit. I was going through the difficulties of a failed smog check but with his fair prices and quick repairs I had one less problem. Had an unfortunate event revolving the kiaboys. Was looking online for a mechanic where i came across jesse autoshop, and what more can i tell you besides the fact that this man really cares about his customers and go out of his way to make sure you don't leave with any doubts or disappointments. Jesse was very knowledgeable and caring any made sure you understood what was wronf with your vheicle so thankful this man worked on my car 100% would come back for anything!!! 10 stars if i could recommend that

I contacted this shop at the last minute wanting to get some AC work done. They were accommodating, friendly, and professional. The shop was clean and organized. You can see the pride in ownership. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Professional, fast service, with reasonable pricing. 👍🏻

I just had to have my 2009 Prius towed from the highway because there seemed to be a major issue with the battery on a Saturday afternoon. Jesse was able to diagnose and fix my issue by Monday, even though it was a holiday weekend, and even allowed pick up after hours so I was able to head back home safely and without paying too much. I would definitely recommend them

I was traveling from the Grand Canyon to my home in Sacramento area and my car just died as I was heading into Bakersfield. It was late Saturday and did not know what would happen. I called around and no one would answer but Jesse. He was busy but was willing to come into his shop at 8 pm and work on my van. I had my van towed to his shop and he replaced the alternator and had me back on the road by 10:15 pm. Jesse was a life saver. I had my wife and our 3 kids in the van with me and was truly in a bad way. Jesse will always be my hero for saving my family. We didn't get home until 3 am but at least we made it home. He was great to work with and happy I found him.

I would not go to these guys. I was on a road trip and my AC stopped working, they took advantage of the situation and quoted $200 to just diagnose the problem and $320 to fill the refrigerant in, estimated $500 FYI the refrigerant costs $60 and takes 2 minutes to fill. I would avoid going here unless you’re really looking to be ripped off. Go to JB instead

In April I had issues with my 4runner while in Joshua Tree. There were no shops available there to help so I called Jesse's shop in Bakersfield. He was amazing on the phone helping me plan how to safely get my vehicle to a shop that was close to my location. I was actually able to get the vehicle to his shop where he diagnosed the issue and got me safely on my way back to SF. Thank you Jesse for your kindness, expertise and professionalism!

Jesse and his son really helped me out a couple weeks ago. I was stranded and had to get towed to Bakersfield. Jesse was able to replace my starter and he and his son stayed almost 3 hours after closing to help get me back on the road. Really appreciated his help and so far the car has held up and working fine. Thanks Jesse!

My family and I were stranded at the Tejon outlets. We were able to tow our mini van to Jesse's shop. By the time we got there it was 6:45 pm his shop closes at 7 pm. He stayed and worked on our van until 11 pm. My daughter has type 1 diabetes and we didn't have much insulin to last any more days on our road trip back home to SF. He saved us and we were able to finally make it home safe. Thank you Jesse for making this happen!!!!!

On a Saturday when Jess's business was only opened till 4PM, this man and his son stayed until 9:30pm to fix my car. MY situation was bad! Fixing another mechanics mess was just not right, and me having to learn I was ripped off didn't feel good. He got my 2004 Lincoln going, showed me the parts replaced, which you don't see anymore, further more showed me what caused my break down, evidence of the rip-off. Honesty and good work is definitely getting harder to find in this type of business. WARNING-WARNING Bakersfield of the BAD-BAD WORK done by E__te on Fruitvale Avenue . I just lucked out that Saturday and I got to my destination, Louisville Kentucky with NO problems. Thanks Jesse

The car wouldn’t start. Got a jump from the truck. The car still wouldn’t start. Bought a new battery and installed it myself. The car still wouldn’t start. Called Jesse Mobile Auto Repair & Roadside Assistance in Bakersfield. I’m in Tehachapi and he came out the next day. It took Jesse less than 10 minutes to redo my faulty battery installation. The car works fine now. Totally satisfied with the service.

This was much more than an auto tire replacement. It was an auto wheel, struts hub, knuckle, stabilizer bar, etc. etc. etc. replacement.! Jesse was very helpful and he’s an honest mechanic and he goes above and beyond to get the job done right!
