Daniel and his staff are fantastic. I have a 2015 Altima that is approaching a 100k miles. I have had a few issues and decided it was time to get them addressed. Daniel did a thorough check of my vehicle and we sat down to discuss the urgency of what items should be addressed now vs. what could wait till later. He didn't try to up sell me or make anything sound more urgent than is actually was. I left his shop feeling great about the entire experience. He has earned my trust and forward business. I have a Jaguar. As with many premium car brands, Jaguar does not make it easy to perform basic auto maintenance (not repair, just maintenance) on its vehicles. Why? Because they want you tied to their dealerships for all your car needs. It took about a week of research and many phone calls, but I was able to source all the parts needed for servicing all my brakes. Many mechanics, unfortunately, will not “accept” customer purchased parts. Other mechanics will grudgingly accept customer parts, but will de-prioritize your job. One such shop quoted me “book” job times for doing my brakes — 5 hours — and used this as justification for needing an entire day (and only if vehicle was dropped off right at opening time). Chad and Jeffrey at Babcock Automotive played none of these games. After confirming their computer could connect with my specific Jaguar, we were off to the races. I arrived at 8:00am with all the needed CORRECT parts and Babcock had my Jaguar ready in 2 hours straight up. If you want fast quality work done, take your business to Babcock Automotive and get treated like a longtime customer even if you are a first-timer.

Integrity! We took my son's older Subaru to Babcock Automotive to see if they could help us with the power steering and to diagnose other problems. The owner advised us not to fix the multiple problems because we would be putting way too much money into the car. I was so impressed that he was honest enough to turn away potential income. We have taken another car to Babcock Automotive, and we will continue to do so.

Jeff and co also took care of my issue in less than 2 business days which was significantly less than the 1-2 week timeframe estimate I received from a dealership. A+ business.

This is a great shop. Jeff and Danny are extremely knowledgeable. Fair prices for quality work. They work with my warranty company too. I've been going here for over a year for all my autos work. Keep up the good work guys!

These guys helped me with an unusual state inspection that no one else would do. Later on, they solved a weird electrical problem in my project car. They keep a clean shop and appear to have pretty good equipment. If you need ASE certified, I know they have some ASE certified guys here too. Thanks guys.

Best experience we have had so far at an auto shop. There was a great communication throughout the entire experience and they were up front about everything. They let us know the day before about how much the labor and part was going to cost, (high balled it) we did find a part $300 cheaper at a local parts shop, so we were able to bring it end, and get everything fixed and done under the time and amount. They also gave us recommendations based on mileage along with decent pricing. They did not push for us to get it done immediately. All in all a very good experience and we will be going back for any of our Automotive needs.

Just want to say a very big thank you for a very big job done in so little time, had some rewiring and fan clutch and brand new battery put in within 4 hours. Price was definitely affordable and would recommend this company to anybody thanks again to Daniel and Jeff, ask for them.

This place is most importantly very trustworthy and reliable. Jeff helped me and explained how my brakes work and gave me some knowledge about vehicles that I didn’t know. Another shop made me think that something was wrong with my brakes so I went to Babcock Automotive for a second opinion. Jeff was completely honest and explained that my brakes were still good. I’m glad I got a second opinion at this place instead of jumping the gun and spending money I didn’t need to at the other shop who was just trying to take my money. Thank you Babcock Automotive! I will be returning for all of my auto needs!

Babcock Automotive is a first rate Auto repair shop. A clean shop speaks volumes about their work. Chad greeted me and gave me a favorable quote. The final price out the door was in line with the work performed and they were prompt. My 2007 Saturn was in by noon and out at closing time. Daniel, the owner, is a stand up guy and made sure I was happy. I would recommend them for all your auto repair needs. I’ll be going back for both of my vehicles.

Danny did a fantastic job of advising me on what I needed for my 2014 Chrysler 300. I brought in my own brakes that I purchased from Autozone and they installed them with ease. I even got a great discount from them. I highly recommend. First class service. A+

Good place to go to get a simple electrical wire to work your HORN that takes ALL DAY and is sloppily and poorly done. THEN costs you a couple hundred dollars! THEN it causes other electric issues such as my alarm system no longer works and my locks! WAY TO BABCOCK! Thanks…

I've been coming to Babcock Auto for a couple of years now. I thought I'd reviewed them in the past, but maybe not. So this is way over due. Daniel and his crew are very good at what they do, from general maintenance to major work. They've worked on two of my vehicles and I've been very satisfied. Professionalism & Knowledge- ✔️ (great at explaining) Courteous- ✔️ (with everyone) Pricing- ✔️ (competitive; one must keep up with gen maintenance to avoid costly repairs) Timing- ✔️ (depending on the job, waiting area is comfy, love the aquarium) Walk-Ins- ✔️ (Silver Ford SUV- road trip last week 😀)

I recently took my Subaru Forester in to Babcock Automotive for a tire post and lug nut replacement, which they did. While I was waiting, I mentioned there might be a problem with my vehicle shock absorbers or struts because I sometimes hear squeky sounds when driving downtown. They suggested a test run and afterwards said the issue was probably some water on my brakes (I'm not a mechanic, so I don't recall the technical or specific part of the brakes), anyway, I was instructed to press a little harder on the brakes if/when I heard the noise again and the issue would eventually stop. I did hear the squeky noise again, and I did as instructed - the squeky noise stopped. As with my previous experiences with Babcock Automotive, I appreciate their sound advice but even more importantly, I appreciate their honestly and excellent work. They are my automotive service provider of choice and I highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to work with a trustworthy auto mechanic shop!

My girlfriend and I just had both our cars services for Oil Change and Coolant for hot San Antonio summers. As always customer service is great the owner is out in front leading the way and employees are so awesome. Very welcoming and willing to answer questiosn with a smile. This auto shop is awesome. Daniel the owner was patient and polite when I first called for service. Upon arrival with only 3 hours left to work til closing, his mechanics repaired my vehicle which was towed in and was not a small repair. I recommend this shop for their efficiency and and professional service. They also trouble shooted my vehicle for future problems that might arise. Very courteous and polite and cost effective as well. I will return as I found a new mechanic shop.
