I scheduled a service on 2/1/25 since my trunk door won't open, and my car is due for a maintenance. Michael Bignell is my agent, I had him before, and was pretty happy with him in the past. He told me there will a $217 charge in order for a technician to evaluate the issue. I had a feeling that it should not be a big issue, so I hesitated for the charge. The technician said there was some glue in between my trunk door and the trunk. I never had glue in my car, I bet it was accidentally spilled duck sauce or teriyaki sauce. I paid $217.60 as I was charged, but I felt it was a rip off. It probably only take the technician less than 5 minutes to fix the simple problem, but the charge was more than a doctor's bill. Considering I have used their service for over 7 years, I am really not happy with how AutoNation Toyota treating their customers these days.

Their representative, Ryan, told me that I needed to have my oil pan gasket changed. He sent me a picture of my oil pan gasket, and there was nothing wrong with it. I instantly replied that there was nothing wrong with it. He never responded until the following day. He responded after they installed a new oil pan gasket. I had to deal with the manager, who in turn gave me a refund. I got my money back, but I had to go through quite an ordeal.
