I pulled into Automotive reset this morning without an appointment and I was taken care of immediately. Great customer service, great attention to detail, explained everything that was going on. I highly recommend this shop to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

Robert was amazing. I had so many places tell me my HHR transmission was too much of a pain to work on so they either would not do it or gave me crazy high prices because they could not be bothered. Robert didn't even pause. He gave me a great price and had my transmission replaced in a couple of days. It was much cheaper than finding a cheap, used car that could have hidden issues. Its been a month and it still runs perfectly. no issues at all.

Travelled in from out of town and my car started having issues, Called up Automotive Reset Technician and they were able to take my car right away. Found the problem right away and fixed it. The mechanic was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. Definitely recommend!

Great service and super friendly and knowledgeable. I had trouble with my Gladiator while traveling through the area. We were fixed right up fast and super fair pricing. Would highly recommend.

My car didnt get fixed it could have been the engine but my complaint is the condition we got the car back in im gonna have to have the interior professionally cleaned from the grease n oil on the door panel kick panel and seat cover...car has light color interior so it looks terrible...one time deal for me

I was nice an respectful towards them, but I got yelled an cussed at for just asking a question dude totally flipped out! when I first left my car hoping for them to fix it would start without a problem now I have to jump start it.. my car is now worst then when I first left it with “automotive reset technician” .Not a way to run a business.

Best shop in town. Solved a ghost I was chasing in a misfire without any CEL codes. After I threw several parts at it they solved the issue and kept me from throwing anything else at it. 10/10 would recommend to anyone for any mechanical needs.

Found them through the Google was best price the best service that I found in years. Did a great job for the work that I got, will continue to go back to Robert and will support him and his family as long as he is running.. took him a few days to confirm my problems, but was worth the results 👌

Got stranded on the side of the road on a Sunday afternoon pulling a 5th wheel camper. This guy came out and helped get me back on the road without charging an arm and leg for diesel work. Would definitely recommend them and I'd go there again!

TL;DR -- Quality, transparent, reliable automotive repair for a reasonable price. Yes, this exists. If you're near Morristown and are looking for a repair shop, definitely give them a call. You never want to start a vacation with your car breaking down on the side of a major highway 7 hours from home and still another hour to your destination. Complicating matters, it's just after 5pm on the Friday of a holiday weekend. Everyone you talk to insists that "no one" will be open tomorrow to look at the car, regardless of what you see listed online. They also note that you will likely need a new engine based on the noises it's making, as "no one" will want to do the work involved in replacing just the water pump. Apparently "No One" is Automotive Reset. While waiting for a tow truck I called on a whim, hoping that the answering machine would confirm their hours to see if they may be open on Saturday morning, as listed. To my surprise, someone picked up the phone. They waited, after hours, for the tow truck to bring us in. The owner then let us load up all our luggage in his truck and gave us a ride to the hotel where my mother and daughter were waiting for us (a good Samaritan gave them a lift a few hours earlier), even offering to help us get to the rental car agency the next day if we couldn't find a ride. The next morning we checked in after getting a rental car and they had already run some diagnostics and ordered the necessary parts so it could be there as soon as possible. Robert walked us through the issue, showed us where the problem was, and answered all our questions. It wasn't an easy repair, requiring them to order parts and tools. That said, they did everything they could, working overtime to get the car fixed as soon as possible so we could get home. It was also far less expensive than replacing the entire engine, saving us likely thousands of dollars. We were very clearly desperate and willing to pay whatever was asked, which was not exploited. Robert did a awesome job on my car , he replaced my transmission with Fast turn around time ! very honest person and not around the bush like other shops . I wouldn’t go anywhere else but with him ! 10/10 recommend . Very trustworthy and family owned shop! .

Robert done an excellent job on all 3 of my vehicles! I Had my Nissan truck in and out of several different mechanic shops around town and nobody could seem to fix the problem. Took it to Automotive Reset Technician LLC and it was up and running in a day or so. Now it Runs like a top!! I'm very happy to report All 3 of my vehicles are back on the road and running GREAT! Very honest and trustworthy mechanic. I highly recommend him for all your automotive needs!
