Since moving from Chicago to Texas, I've struggled to find a reliable mechanic, but my friends recommended this place, and I **absolutely LOVE it**. They are so thorough and communicate with you every step of the way—once you leave, you're getting updates on your car. They only complete the work you approve, which I really appreciate. The prices are great, and they’re quick too. This will definitely be my go-to spot for all car repairs moving forward! Thank you!

I was pleased with my service. Had to have extensive brake work done…and they came through. Even though it took a couple of weeks, they worked on it until it was complete. Kept me informed of the work being done and I’m satisfied. Auto repair is expensive everywhere and I rather deal go here instead of dealer!

Great work and great prices!! Customer service is exceptional!! You can shop around but I doubt you’ll find anyone better! Honest people. They did work on my previous Mercedes and did a phenomenal job They are now working on my current Mercedes. Completely trust them!

Whenever you have car trouble it’s never fun… However, Automotive ER made the process as smooth as it could be. They were very professional in their communication and it took a huge weight off my shoulders when I was worried about what could possibly be wrong with my car.

Automotive ER really diagnosed the problem and braked it down perfectly when I brought in my broken-down Ford Explorer. My fuel capacitor failed, which completely stopped my car from turning on, so it had to be replaced. Every time I called for updates or price checks, they responded quickly or gave me a prompt callback, keeping my stress levels from overheating. When I picked up my vehicle, I had a driven conversation with the owners and learned they’re a family-run business, which steered my opinion even higher. They were honest and explained the work in a way that shifted my worries into neutral. Even though my Explorer has plenty of miles on it, they made it feel like it was fresh off the lot once I got in it again. What really revved my engine was that this isn’t your typical auto shop trying to brake your budget by up-selling unnecessary repairs. They did the opposite, giving my car a tune-up on what was running well and focusing on the real issue under the hood, replacing that failed fuel capacitor. This place is now my go to mechanic shop. I Ford sure will be coming back, knowing my car is in the hands of honest experts who know exactly how to keep it running in top gear!

Called and made an appointment got there and the owner turned us away saying they didn't do tire repair... just very unprofessional and the way they handled it when we were there and poor communication through the online and on phone appointments thanks for nothing you will get no more recommendations for me or services.

I needed new spark plugs. I sat in their office for 2 hours and car hadn't been worked on. I went for lunch and called just before I was getting ready to go. Kelly said they have been working on all morning, I knew this wasn't true as I was there and my car hood wasn't even open. When I came back around noon, the hood was open and no one was working on. Then when I said I had to go, they sent a mechanic out and he fixed in about 30 minutes. When I got the bill they charged me for 5 hours of work. This wasn't true. In my opinion they are banking on you leaving and not watching how long they work on your car. My bill was over $500 which included 5 hours labor. It was 30 min labor. I timed it.

Kelly runs a tight ship here. I was frantically calling around to have a complete transmission rebuild, and they were able to get me in over a holiday weekend on Thursday and have it completed/keys in my hand by Tuesday. I highly recommend them.

Seriously the BEST garage experience ever!!! I will drive 35 minutes any time just for their impeccable customer service and quality + supporting local family owned (not corporate or a chain that have always proven a nightmare)! I have found my new home for all things car related. New brakes front and back, new rotors front and back, new windshield wipers (items previously inspected by friend recommending the replacements) and the car was done in a few hours. Thank y’all for the peace of mind that my Momma is safer on the road due to your excellent care! Love the old ways of how they do business and utmost integrity. I can’t say enough great things about their garage and this experience except my family will be lifelong customers!

Unfortunately I have to recommend others to stay away. Took vehicle in for a brake squeal that I was pretty confident was coming from the rear. They reported that both front and rear needed replaced, as well as many thousands of dollars of additional parts replacements that I was skeptical of. Paid them their diagnostic fee, picked up the vehicle and took to Christian Brothers in Frisco without telling them I'd already had someone else look at it. They reported squeak was coming from rear brakes and they just needed to be cleaned and regreased. Because this contradicted Auto ER's claims, I then asked them about what Auto ER was recommending. Auto ER reported front brakes were at 7mm and rear were at 5mm. Christian brothers reported front brakes were practically NEW and rear brakes were at 7mm. How can 2 shops measure something differently 1 day apart? Christian brothers also said the additional suspension parts replacements recommended by Auto ER were not needed. Christian brothers cleaned and regreased rear brakes (did not touch front brakes) and the issue was corrected. Called Auto ER to request a refund of the diagnostic fee they charged. I understand they're claiming they completed a service, but the outcome of this service seemed to contradict what Christian Brothers reported. I'm inclined to believe Christian Brothers, as they corrected the issue without touching the front brakes or requiring a replacement of the rears. I spoke to Kelly at Auto ER on the phone who was fairly argumentative and unprofessional. She denied my request for refund so I told her I would be moving forward with a BBB complaint. I can provide texts and screenshots of the recommendations from both places to validate if needed. Update based on auto ER response: I don’t know why they keep trying to blame this on a poor job by Christian bros. I have told them repeatedly that the squeak was coming from the rear brakes, and Christian bros had done no work on the rear brakes. The first thing I told them was that the fronts were done by Christian bros 1 year ago, and at the time they checked the rear pads the thickness levels were fine.

Updated - they were able to fix the vehicle under warranty and it’s running well now. Ripped off my son charged $5k in repair for a rebuilt transmission and other things and now the car won’t switch gears.

Pleasantly surprised by the results this place delivered, I’m paying no mind to the negative reviews, they seem hyperbolic to me. + Affordable + Relatively quick; took a few days for my repairs to complete + Gets the job done; I had two repairs done in my vehicle’s exhaust system that was causing the Check Engine light to come on, and it’s been off ever since — that was over a year ago.

Took my daughters car in for a $95 “general inspection “. When it was time to pick up the car my bill was $477. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest business. Owner cussed me out and told me I shouldn’t have wasted their time if I didn’t have the money to fix the car. Should have known better when they said they only communicate via text.

WARNING! WARNING! Stay away. Kelly is the owner and does not stand by his work and does not have a true mechanic working on your car. Spent $9000 on a new engine and still not working. Finally had to take it to the dealership and General Manager asked me to come review my car with it up and show me the issues. He showed me missing bolts, wires hanging all over, leaking oil. This was after Kelly the owner of Auto ER taking my money and now will not call or text back. I have never written a review, just don't want anyone else to deal with Kelly and his daughter every. Not to mention the foul language they used with my wife and daughter. STAY AWAY

Worst customer service ever. Kelly the owner is a snake, his daughter Kathy is a snake & Rickey the mechanic is a snake. Don’t use these people or trust them. Tried to charge me $650 to change ground wire in my car; $50 for parts, $600 for labor. Kept my car for 3 full business days and fixed my car in 2hours. My dad had to call to get the price down to $475. Still ridiculous. Unprofessional people, dishonest and untrustworthy. If you’re a woman don’t go here, if you’re black don’t go here, and if you’re a black woman please RUN. I will work harder to find reliable people to work with, red flags should of went off when they said they take Zelle & they refused to answer my calls but could send text messages. Terrible establishment, deserves 0 stars.
