Don’t do it!!! Charged me $3000.00 to basically replace a starter, that didn’t solve my issue. Just curious…checked with dealership (parts/labor) to get a price on same job. It was less than $1500.00. They say it’s veteran owned and they take care of veterans. I want to confirm that they do take care of us…but not in a good way. They are overpriced and incompetent. Took it back to them so they could fix my original problem. They had my truck for a week. I had to just go get it because it was sitting behind the shop and no one was working on it. I repeat…Don’t do it; take it to the dealership; you’ll save money. 😳 Yeah, I said it...You will save money and probably have your problem solved.

My AC went out the day before NewYear's eve, so we called and they took my car and it was ready to pick up on Jan. 2nd at 8 am. AC works FANTASTIC!! I'm ready for hot Louisiana days!!! I highly recommend Automotive Center of Slidell! Super nice people, awesome service and a quick turnaround.!!!

Outstanding customer service. They saved me over $125.00 compared to another local repair place and had me out very quickly. I truly appreciate the fact that they are a Christian owned business and it shows!!!!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! My daughter and I were on our way to Gulfport for a softball tournament and stopped in Slidell for breakfast. After coming out and trying to start the jeep it wouldn’t start. Long story short I googled automotive places in the area and thankfully this place showed up! After having my husband call and talk to the owner, my daughter and I had a tow truck come and tow it to their shop. They got right on the problem and had us running in no time! Wonderful family owned business and being a woman on the road it’s great to know these places exist! I’d give 10 ⭐️ if I could!!!

Speaking of slander I'd say that you are doing a great job of that. Would you like for me to post your written quote? I will amend my post. I believe I WOULD have been Overcharged in my experience. $625.00 for a part that costs under $200.00 in most other places is not what I call a Good quality mechanic. The labor is $550.00, so just how many hours do you allocate for this job? Maybe you should change your sign.

5 star service. I was really worried my truck was going to be there for at least a week for the amount of work I needed done. I dropped it off in morning and everything was done by that afternoon. Andy was really helpful and communicative throughout the day updating me on any issues. Definitely the best experience here than any other shop I've used in Slidell.

These guys are always my first choice. They do great work, and are transparent about anything they find that you weren’t aware of. Their prices are fair, and they are upfront and honest with everything from the time you walk in.

Best mechanic I’ve ever been to! My car broke down in Slidell when I was coming from Seattle, WA and Andy took the best care of me as I was stranded in a town I knew nothing about. He ordered the parts even though they were hard to find and the mechanics even stayed late to figure out what was going on and how to fix it. Anyone who needs work done on their car, this is the place! I couldn’t recommend them more and I’ll never forget their kindness.

Will always bring my cars here after getting burned by some other repair shops. They always do a great job in a good time with fair prices. Everyone there is very nice and professional. Andy is the man.

I broke down on the interstate on my way to New Orleans with my wife and dog, and did a quick google search on auto repair centers in the area. After calling a few places I spoke with Dale from Auto Center/Slidell who was very friendly on the phone. Being from out of town it was kind of crap shoot, but Dale made me feel confident that this was the right place…and we I couldn’t have done better with my pick if I tried. When we arrived with my vehicle they were ready for us, and said they would get us back on the road by the next day. Dale went as far as finding us a room for the night and even drove us there…southern hospitality at its finest. The next morning I received a call/quote on the repair in the morning from Josh, which seemed fair for the work being done (Alternator on my Honda Pilot). They had us back in the road by noon…unbelievably efficient. Dale, who turned out to be the owner, went above and beyond and even applied a discount for good measure, which was incredibly kind. I would recommend Automotive Center of Slidell to anyone who wants to be treated kindly, and be treated fairly, along with having the work done timely and efficiently. Thank you Dale, Josh, and Ryan (mechanic).

100% recommend. These guys were great, Andy was a pleasure to deal with. They did everything they could to save us some money. It'd be worth the trip to Slidell from Lafayette next time we need work.

On a four hour road trip we had a car emergency necessitating an urgent tire plug. We were on a strict timeline with planned excursions 60 miles away. They were able fit us in quickly and were very pleasant to work with.

Staff was very polite, very friendly. Had absolutely zero problems. Comfortable waiting room. They did my oil change and inspection in a short time. I was very pleased with Automotive Center . I'll def bring truck in the next time it needs serviced!

Stopped here along a road trip as my car needed a quick repair. I was worried as I am not familiar with the area, as well I am on a schedule. After quickly explaining the issue I was rest-assured this could be easily repaired. Didn’t have to wait but less than 10 minutes and I was already back on the road. I really appreciated their help and service, especially in a time of need. Highly recommend!

These guys are awesome. They are great at finding and fixing all the oddball problems with my geriatric (>300k miles) truck. Always friendly and they take the time to listen to me. They don't treat me like I'm clueless about cars. Highly recommended! 2023 update - still great. Keeping the old truck on the road. Excellent service, good guys, they do a great job. Still highly recommended!
