They did an excellent job working on my car. Everything that I asked to check and to repair was done, nothing extra. No complaints here. My car was repaired on time as stated. As always, Mr. Perry was professional and honest. For future repairs, automan will get my business. And I will be referring Family and friends to go to automan car Care for vehicle repair. Automan Car Care takes care of your car and you! This is not one of those places that charge you an insane amount of money. They are very reasonable. I love coming here because they have respect for the customer. It does not matter your race or gender you will be treated like a human being. They work for the customer, and will find you the best deal. Also, they're are doing a great job with social distancing for the customers. The lobby is clean, smells good and it's in a great area. The shop is located on Glenwood Ave-70. There are restaurants and a pharmacy within short walking distance. Automan Car Care is the shop to bring your family 👍🏾

10/10 stars would recommend. I used to exclusively go to the dealer where I purchased my car and paid premium for basic services because of horror stories you hear about some mechanics and shops. Automan's was the first place I wanted to try outside of a traditional dealer and I'm glad I did. I'll be bringing both of my vehicles here with confidence for any and all services from now on. Great repairs, great service, and great prices.

Got my car back running worse than when I dropped it off. They did NOT put parts on my engine that they had listed on my bill. I don’t think they expect people to look under the hook and check like I do. They said that they would “look out for me” with the pricing which they didn’t. They said that if I got these services done they could drop certain fees to fit my budget. When I showed up to pick my truck up none of the fees were waved I had to ask about it and they guy acted like he forgot or something when he had called me 20 min before I picked it up. They added a fuel cleaning service to my bill for hundreds of dollars that I never approved them to do. This place will rob you blind!!! It’s a shame because I was looking for a good honest mechanic close to where I live, auto-man is definitely not that

I was thoroughly impressed with the responsiveness, professionalism, cleanliness of the shop. The waiting room is spacious and was able to accommodate my need to work while I waited. The owner and staff were friendly, courteous and informative. I have an Alfa Romeo and called around to compare prices after receiving a ridiculous quote from the dealership. I have referred AutoMan to ALL of my friends!

Used to be great service, has gone down hill. Brought vehicle in for a check engine light, was told its because of a faulty battery and given a long list of suggested repairs. One of which I was told my headlight was out and they tried to charge me 110 for replacement. I went home paying over 400 just for the light to still be on right when I pull into my driveway. My headlight was disconnected upon inspection, so someone unplugged it then said it was out and tried to charge me for it. Brought it back to follow up on the still lit check engine light; this time its the VVT sensors. Paid another nearly 400 since I was going out of town and needed it on the road asap. Got about 50 miles down the highway and it came back on, and now I notice a puddling of oil under my vehicle in its parking spots. Spent nearly 1k and having more issues now than when I brought it in the first time.

I had a terrible experience with Automan, mainly dealing with someone named Perry, who I assume is a manager there. This is the first negative review I’ve ever had to leave, but my experience was so frustrating that I felt a need to warn others. I came in for a simple bumper replacement, and what should have taken 2 days like they promised ended up taking almost a full week, largely due to poor communication and unprofessional handling by Perry. I was told on Monday that my car would be ready by Wednesday at the latest, but on Wednesday evening, I had to call to learn that they hadn’t even started due to receiving the wrong part. Had Perry let me know sooner, I could have saved on my rental car costs, but instead, my car just sat at the shop. The whole experience was them overpromising and underdelivering. By Friday, I had to return my rental, thinking I’d only be without a car for one more day. But, after being told to expect my car Saturday around 12-1 pm, I found myself waiting until 3 pm on Saturday for an update, only to get a text from Perry that he “couldn’t talk.” When he finally responded, he told me he just painted the bumper and it wouldn’t be ready that day either. Not only did I lose an entire day waiting, but it also left me scrambling without transportation for even longer. The lack of professionalism and respect in not informing me by 12 pm at the latest that the bumper hadn't even been painted and that my car wouldn’t be ready left me incredibly frustrated. Perry made it seem like he was doing me a favor by working on the weekend, even though it was their fault my car took four days longer than promised to fix. When I finally got my car back on Sunday (after having to negotiate a time with Perry), I found trash left in the trunk and paint flecks on the side of the car. I spent an hour removing the paint specks myself because that's how bad I didn’t want to go back and have to deal with Perry again. I won’t be bringing my car back to Automan. I'm being generous with my 2 stars because they did fix the bumper, but the lack of communication, delays, and unprofessionalism turned a simple repair into a frustrating, drawn-out ordeal.

I was in Raleigh on a business trip when my vehicle broke down. I quickly found Automan on Google and chose them to repair my car based on great reviews. Automan saved my day. They immediately diagnosed the problem and spent time locating the best price for the part my vehicle needed and were able to repair my vehicle the next day. They quoted me an estimate but the total cost came under estimate. Automan was one of the most professional, exceptional, efficient experiences I have had with an auto repair and care center. They operated using user-friendly technology to keep me apprised of my repair, to approve the cost and repair, and to inform me when my vehicle was ready. If I lived in Raleigh, Automan would be my definite go-to service place for all vehicle needs. The owner and his team were courteous and professional through the whole process. My vehicle inconvenience while in Raleigh turned into a positive experience because I was able to use Automan. I recommend them to everyone!

My wife and I have used Automan for a decade. My 2011 Transit Connect has 257,000+ miles, and runs like a top. The Mrs’s 2014 Civic purrs like a baby kitten.
