Bottom Line: Oleg is an honest and skilled mechanic who does things correct and complete the first time. His services are not inexpensive by any means, but as a mechanically inclined engineer, I am very happy with the services he performed on my 2015 Audi A6, including timing chain replacement, transmission, front transfer case, and rear differential service, Oil cooler replacement, and a host of other items. I normally do many repairs myself, but was faced with several items I just didn't have the time for. I met Oleg and we test drove my car while I described some of the symptoms and my opinion of the causes. We collaborated whilst he drove and he was very inciteful and had a clear understanding of Audis and their respective quirks. Earning my confidence during that test drive, I elected to have him perform a diagnostic of the problems we discussed. After the diagnostic, Oleg's assistant Diana walked me through the recommended parts/services. She was very knowledgeable about the details of each recommended item and the "whys." Throughout the service, Oleg maintained contact with me to update me on any changes and his recommended path forward. Upon picking up my car, Oleg showed me the worn/faulty parts, and explained the details of each service item. He also gave me recommendations on the service areas I chose to DIY. I had Autobahn Motors perform a pre-purchase inspection on an out of state vehicle that I was considering. They did an outstanding and thorough job evaluating the vehicle for potential upcoming issues including hidden check engine codes that the dealership (BMW of Fairfax) did not disclose in the vehicle. Diana spent over 30 minutes discussing what they found, what I could expect, and what I should examine into further (active but not displaying error codes). I was very thankful for the help that she and the team there provided and assisted me in avoiding costly and hidden future repairs.

Ever since my 2015 Mini Cooper's maintenance plan had ended, I've been searching for a good, reliable, auto shop to maintain my car. I went through a few mechanics before I found Oleg. I recently moved to Fairfax and after a few google searches, the 5 star reviews drew me in. I decided to give Autobahn Motors a try. I met Oleg and found an honest, trustworthy, and competent mechanic. After the first service visit, he identified a few existing issues for my car, some he recommended fixing right away and some he marked as optional. He explained them to me in a way that I understood - I know a little bit about cars so I had no trouble with it but even if you knew nothing about cars, I'm sure he can get it across in a way that you'll understand. He's never pushy and will never do work that's not necessary. 5 stars for this shop and for Oleg.

Oleg and his team take great care of our car. We have been customers for just over a year now for routine maintenance on a fairly high mileage 2014 sedan. They know the Audi and VW line of vehicles exceptionally well and are transparent and detailed about concerns with vehicle maintenance and recommended repairs. Expect a thorough explanation of the problem, the options, and estimated costs for each with updates on progress and following any cautionary concerns. I strongly recommend Autobahn Motors.

Oleg is the authority in German car maintenance and repairs in the Northern VA area. He is always willing & happy to have a conversation about my cars, take the time to tell me about each issue, how pressing it is, and what it involves to repair/replace. Pricing is very reasonable given his expertise. As an automotive enthusiast I feel fortunate to have found Autobahn Motors, as I know my late model Audi is in great care with Oleg. Oleg does it right every time, exceeding expectations, working on my complex twin-turbo Audi, doing what others unable to do right, or unable to do at all. Brakes, engine work, clutch, gearbox, everything was fixed or upgraded, as if was done by German engineers. Can't wait till they open new shop, and hope their prices won't go up too much. Only knocking one star off because he takes time to do things right, working on a car like an artisan, and does not like to be rushed.

Oleg is a diamound in the rough. He is honest, takes his time, easy to communicate with and extremely precise with the way he will maintain/repair your vehicle. My car needed a fair amount of work and his quote was fair and ultimately the final cost was very accurate. I recommend him highly without any reservation!

I started taking my car here after becoming frustrated with previous mechanics. Over the years, I've found many mechanics to be unwilling to explain to me why a certain piece of work needed to be performed on my car. They seemed interested in keeping their reasoning obscure; that way, maybe I wouldn't ask too many questions, and maybe they could get away with some dishonesty. The opposite is true with Oleg and his team. Each time I bring my car into Oleg's shop, he is very quickly able to explain to me what he thinks my car needs, why my car would need this piece of work, what I should expect from my car after the piece of work is performed, and more. I'm not a mechanic myself, so I don't have a great deal of technical knowledge on this. Oleg does, and he's got a great way of explaining it so that laypeople like myself can learn more. Even more importantly, he does great work. I've never left his shop feeling unsatisfied or ripped off. If you take your car to Oleg, you'll be happy that you did. And Oleg, thank you for always taking great care of me and my car!

My husband and I have been bringing our cars to Oleg for a few years and his service is impeccable. He always provides fair pricing and insight on what should be repaired immediately and what can be taken care of later. More importantly, he checks in to make sure our vehicles are working properly and reminds us of when repairs may need to be considered, by text and email! We don't mind the drive from DC to Tyson's based on the prices and service. I would highly recommend him.

Oleg is an honest customer focused mechanic. He did a wonderful job with my Mercedes at half the cost of another shop. He preferred to have it done correctly so that I don't have to come back for the same issue. He kept me updated on progress, and didn't force unnecessary repairs down my throat. Oleg is great! We brought our BMW here to get serviced and he was very knowledgeable and fair priced. We mentioned we also had a Honda Pilot and Oleg said to bring it in so he could have a look and took care of the rest! In talking, Oleg said he worked with Honda’s previously so I knew our Pilot was in good hands!! We move around a lot and have finally found our go to mechanic in this area! We highly recommend Oleg!!

I brought my jeep to Oleg for an electrical problem that I could not solve myself. I like how he handled it. It could have been something serious and I would have never known. Instead, he diagnosed it as a minor relay problem and fixed it rather quickly. I highly recommend him I for your car care needs. I contacted Oleg( The Owner) through Yelp using the request qoutes feature. It was a quick and painless processes. Oleg was very respectful and honest. I only went in for A transmission flush and fill. It was reasonably priced service, and everyone there was cordial with me. Oleg is not the kind of mechanic who's constantly pushing the up sale. Oleg will give you recommended professional advise, if he sees anything that he can be fixed or replaced for free. He cares about his business, practice and reputation. Had a good experience definitely recommend this business.

Since he is performing the work, you are guaranteed to have a tech (Oleg) who knows what he's doing. He has unbelievably fair pricing and has done top-notch work. Look no further- I trust both of our family's cars, an Infiniti and Jaguar, to Oleg.

I’m a Bmw owner, and I like to look after my car, unfortunately when something goes wrong it can be very finicky or expensive to fix, and I was recommended this place and it is great! extremely friendly, great service and are very honest and up front with there pricing, glad we made the switch. Oleg runs the best auto repair shops I’ve ever dealt with. He is honest / trustworthy, reasonably priced, a very talented Mechanic, and great at customer service. The best thing beyond his talent, is he takes the time to walk the customer though what needs to be repaired while looking at the car firsthand; a very rare level of service to find these days. In one day, he fixed problems two BMW dealership departments were unable to fix under warranty across 5 visits. Highly recommend, can’t say enough good things.

The owner/mechanic (Oleg) is awesome. When I took my wife's SUV BMW to Sterling of BMW, they quoted my an extremely high repair bill. I have learned over the years that once your maintenance contract ends, you don't want to a dealership for major car repairs. I did a quick google search, and sent a few BMW repair shops my needs. Oleg was the first to respond with a detailed car repair estimate that was less than half of what the BMW dealership was going to charge me. Because of his fast response, and very detailed car repair estimate, I took a risk and took our car to his shop. He completed the repairs in a timely manner, and within the quoted estimated cost. Oleg is a truly a pleasure to work with, and I will only be taking my BMW to his shop for future work!
