So I went in to have a new starter put on. The 1st starter he supplied me with was a remanufactured one that I agreed to. Unfortunately it was faulty and lasted less than a week. He had me bring it back free of charge and replaced it. The dude would not even accept a tip! He said that by providing excellent service is his way to ensure that I will come back. I would definitely suggest Auto Service by Ray! EDITED ON 05|15|23 Soo I bought a 2008 Cadillac from a private seller with about 170k, turned it in to get (everything the seller lied to me about) it repaired. He called me up gave me a quote for the work. I told him the old Get'er done speal, & a few days later everything was ready. Got it back from Ray end of January - February, Ray knows what he is doing, I have had NO PROBLEMS with this vehicle despite it's age. Auto Service By Ray I WOULD GIVE YOU SIX STARS IF I COULD!!

I called to see about getting a go over for a used car that I was looking at and the location and affordable pricing were very convenient. Ray looked over the car and eased any concerns that I had about the car. He even recommended a price that I should end up with during the buying process. Ray is very helpful, knowledgeable, and to the point and I greatly appreciated him helping me out. I live near Raleigh, but I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in the area.

I was traveling to Charlotte on a Saturday when my car alternator backed-up and the car went dead on I40W. Called my insurance and was referred to Ray's shop. It was late evening, office closing hours was near Ray went out his way, waited for the tow-truck to get my car to his shop. He came out Sunday to get the alternator replaced, and I was back on the road again. Customer service was excellent and honest. Thanks Ray.

When you find a good mechanic, they're as valuable as a good doctor, and I'm happy to call Ray my mechanic. He's straight-forward, fair and does everything he can to help. He and his crew do great work.
