In 2014, I was in a tight spot. I ran over a rock that ripped off my oil pan. I was due for a flight in 48 hours from Seattle to London. The team at Auto Metric understood the challenge, and pulled out all the stops to get me on my way. Despite the tight timeline, they turned my car around and had me on my way, consistently communicating updates to me via phone as they had them. The pricing was fair and accurate. They saved the day. They are so quick and helpful they replaced one of my belts and when it needed tightening they fit me right in. Always super friendly and I will be going back when I inevitably needs a new clutch too! Thank you Auto Metric 🙏🏼

Have taken my car to these folks a couple times and have had consistently good experiences. Reasonable time estimates, reasonable prices, good communication about findings and options without efforts to oversell, and each time they were able to resolve the issues. One time I needed a follow-up because fixing one problem uncovered an underlying issue that the computer needed a couple hours of driving to report (which is reasonable and wasn't a huge surprise), and they were able to quickly get me in and get that sorted out. I've fortunately not had an emergency/breakdown and live close enough to just drop my car off at a convenient time and go on with my day, so I've called ahead to ask when times are open, came in on suggested day/time and they have been accurate with time estimates. Super glad to have this shop nearby.

I bought a car Joe had consigned for one of his customers. He was super friendly, honest, had everyones best interests in mind and the car was as-described. Really enjoyed working with him through the process and would definitely use Auto Metric again. Fully expect to use the services there next time I need a car serviced also. Update: I have also now used Joes shop for a couple issues. As expected he’s super honest and fair. In one instance he even sent me on my way when there wasn’t anything wrong with the car (I rent it out and a guest had reported squeaking brakes and ‘grinding’ which Joe determines was likely just the sound/feel of snow tires.). Really happy I found this business, I’ll be using him for all my cars issues. Glad to ‘have a guy’ for my car repair needs, especially because I have several that I rent out.

My wife and I have been dealing with Autometrics for over 20 years. We continue to use them for obvious reasons. They are honest, their prices are reasonable and their work is high quality. We have never had them recommend a repair which wasn't required. They listen to us and we feel respected. Thank you Joe!

They had a car I was interested in so I came in and took it for a drive. Had a few issues with it and they called me the next day saying they fixed it. I drove it again and it was, indeed, fixed so I bought it. I've been very happy with the car and got it at a reasonable price. Good people and would do business with them again.

Auto Metric is everything you want and need in a repair shop. We took our Volvo in and Joe fixed it good as new, literally. Then I took my Chevy pickup in and he fixed it too! You can expect excellent, fair, friendly, and affordable service at Auto Metric. Boise's local treasure! Highly recommended.
