Wonderful experience I stopped in on a whim to ask a question and the guy behind the counter helped me immensely by informing me I didn’t actually need a safety inspection and that I just needed two other things to get my car registered in the state of Missouri. I had stopped at four other places That day and no one said that to me other than him and they were able to take care of me that same day in that same visit so definitely will be returning.

This is a place to go if you want thorough, honest work. They'll tell you what they see and what they recommend, but will try to be as helpful on pricing, discounts and more when possible. They take their time but communicate well and build strong client relationships.

Can’t recommend this place enough! If you need your hybrid vehicle worked by a knowledgeable crew without loosing an arm and a leg at the dealer this is a great option! They can accommodate you in a short notice, schedule your appointment online and they do a complementary inspection of your vehicle with pics and extended details. It’s refreshing finding a shop like this one! They brought back our bricked Volt due an imbalanced battery for half price of what the dealer quoted just to look at it!

I recently went to Auto Evaluators to get my 74 Bronco appraised and it was a very pleasant experience. Mark is very knowledgeable and ended up teaching me a lot about the Bronco. I will definitely be going back.

I showed up for my first time at this business to get a simple oil change today about 10:00am 10:30am this morning on a vehicle I just bought never had a oil change. I sign my name to get them to do the authorization to start the change. I'm sitting there I see a O'Reilys worker come in with a "quote" drain plug. Sitting there I'm thinking something that's so simple normally taking tops a half hr. I asked the desk receptionist if it was done. She says" no I waiting to hear back from my mechanic on what's going on something like they may have to re- threed the drain plug somethings like it's stripped out need some additional time.I didn't think much of it. I just bought the vehicle so I wouldn't have never known there was a issue with a drain plug at all. So I sit back down thinking they're a shop,these are mechanics they'll atleast acknowledge me on it. Take me out to see what they are working on,show me it's been stripped ya know something along those lines. No!! That didn't happen!! They did the work then wanna bring me a bill of $236 for something that never cost this much on any vehicle. So the receptionist she says breaking my bill down to me even with the %15 dicount that my bill is still $236 and if I can't pay she can't release my vehicle back to me. Ok!! Now I'm pissed because I know damn good and well it don't cost this for a simple oil change even if a bolt got stuck on or stripped. These are mechanics right? So now I'm asking to speak to a Supervisor.. She says he'll be back. I told her there is no way anyone would pay $236 for a oil change. Not even herself... So now she knows I'm pissed upset about my bill,me not even having $236 on me at the time then has the nerve to ask me in the midst of it all her seeing me upset says" Well I willing to negotiate and knock off the half hr extra it took them to get the drain plug off. Which was $84 something. Now I'm getting %15 off keeping my discount and having the labor taken off and I'm still paying $152.39 That is absorb and still robbery. I know noone who pays this amount for no oil change. For one you don't do work without showing the customer atleast what the issue is giving them atleast a visual look before the work is done. $152.00 is not a fair price on what they did here and how the service went. I will never be bringing my vehicle back to this shop. Paying that much is a rip off. Get it right folks!!!

Originally booked an appointment online for a Saturday, Showed up to the shop with a sign on the door saying they were closed that day. The website didn't mention they would be closed that day. At the follow up appointment, I was charged $500 for a diagnostic, and I turned down getting the work done because the price was very high. I called the shop at 8am the following day to let them know I would be picking up my car that afternoon. After paying and getting my keys back at 3pm, I found my serpentine belt on the passenger floormat because they never put it back on. There are better shops out there.

I moved to Webster Groves just over a year ago, and I've taken my truck to Auto Evaluators twice now for safety and emissions testing. Both visits have been fantastic! Scheduling an appointment online was a breeze, and they took my truck in right on time. I was out the door with my emissions passed in about 25 minutes. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly, and the gentleman with the impressive mustache even came out to chat with me about my truck. Overall, it's a great place to bring your vehicle. took 21 year old volvo in for diagnotic work. Told shop I didn't want to spend more than the car is worth. Shop did some diagnostic work and called me. Decided to not proceed with further work. Business is professional, friendly, easy to work with and they listen to you.
