I don't know if they are cheaper on the labor rate BUT they don't pad AND seem to be working from the Golden Rule which is extremely rare these days. They'll be getting all my car biz going forward. They even follow up afterwards!!

I have been coming to Authority Automotive for 5 years now as they are very friendly and knowledgeable and they will let you know what is wrong with your vehicle and not try to sell you anything you don’t need repaired and they repair your car quickly and right the first time as I’ve had them do front end suspension, tune-up, water pump, rear axle replacement, fuel pump replacement as well as maintenance like oil change and lube over the years and my vehicle is running very good at 300,000 Miles ! Rick and Chad and boys in shop are friendly and do great work ! I highly recommend this shop as been in Frisco over 10 years and my neighbors like them as well after I told them about them. I have known the guys at Authority Automotive for 20+ years and they have never steered me wrong. Whether it’s my Cadillac my GMC truck or my Jeep Wrangler. Every person I’ve ever recommended them to go there has been happy with the service they have received. My mother goes there all of my friends go there and you don’t recommend places like this unless you believe in what they do and I believe in everything that they do is for From my benefit and the longevity of my car or truck or Jeep

Authority Automotive is a rare breed within the auto repair sector: worthy of recommendation to others. Without question, they are one of the best repair shops I’ve used in ~ 4 decades on the road. They are trustworthy and I am always confident they recommend only the appropriate remedies, not unnecessary repairs often incorrectly prescribed by others. High praise for Authority.

Fast and fair! Honda dealership wanted $4500 to do significant work and they did an engine tuneup for $700 that fixed the problem.

Very honest and straightforward about my car/repairs. Chad was willing to talk through with me to see what made the most sense for my car that needs many repairs. Rick and Chadd worked on the brakes of my truck! Totally awesome job. They called me to advise of the price, and they even changed the oil! Been using these guys for years, and they always do things honestly and tell you of any problems up front.
