I have been going to AAS for years. They are the only ones in Austin I trust for a fair price in labor and parts. They are very transparent with their customers and have always treated my car A1. The same break job at Firestone would have cost me $1,200 (quoted) while I paid $550 at AAS for back axel break job. Great customer service all around. I’ve moved to Dallas now and one of the qualities I will miss most about Austin is Austin Automotive Specialists. Thank y’all for taking perfect care of my car 🤧🙌🏼

Very honest about what needed to be done and what good options are. A shop who is willing to tell me when there is no payment needed because there wasnt really any time put into the inspection is a shop I will recommend and definetely come back too.🙏

I had to tow my vehicle in for service, and I accidentally had it towed to the wrong location. They still had me in and out with a new battery along with other customers! Fast service & Friendly faces! I will be going back.

The people in this automotive shop are all very friendly and they make sure you approve of all the work they do. They also make suggestions for any other maintenance they see that needs to be done. No pressure to do anything you are not prepared to have done. Originally recommended by our former mechanic.

Took my car in after a mobile mechanic changed my wheel hub assembly for my Mazda cx5. My car had come chirping/grinding noise and we both thought it was the wheel bearing so we started with that. After the initial repair and it still not fixing the issue I took it to Austin automotive specialists. My Gf loves this location so I figured I’d try them out also. After a through inspection they were able to pinpoint the noise coming from the wheel bearing. They took off the part and reinstalled it and that made the noise go away. Not sure if it was installed properly the first time but either way they saved the day. They also let me know my front shocks were going needing to be replaced soon. I went ahead and had them take care of it since I would be out of town for a few days. Maria even applied a $200 off coupon for me. I’ll definitely be recommending Austin automotive specialists to my friends and family and will be returning for any future repair I might need.

These guys took great care of me and my car! I was blown away by their reasonable prices, willingness to discuss options and explain issues, and flexible scheduling. Their customer service was outstanding and I felt totally safe with all of the techs and staff I met. I won't go anywhere else now!

Brought my car in for an oil change and they were faster than expected and even changed out a small brake light bulb at no charge. Very satisfied with this experience and will be back.

Came here to get a quote on fixing my right lower control arm because of an minor accident on the tollway. I was quoted nearly $1,100 for the repair and 8 hours of labor so my friend and I left (Keep in mind, I'm not a car fanatic or enthusiast, I can easily be taken advantage of) My online friend who is a car fanatic said it shouldn't take $1,100 to fix, Austin's is definitely overcharging you. I went to another autoshop and they quoted me only $400 for the repair. It makes me wonder how many people they've tried to take advantage of. Do better.

Had a very, very positive experience at Austin Automotive Specialists and it's become my new go-to shop for repairs and maintenance. It's extremely easy to schedule an appointment and repairs are nearly always done same day (and they'll try their best to wrap-it-up fast it takes longer or if it's hard to get the part). All their repairs are backed-up with pictures and justifications for the repairs. Thank you, AAS!

My family and I have been using the 8405 Research location for well over 25 years. Maybe even longer. Always have received the best service and repair work to our vehicles. I highly recommend them. Most recently a total transmission replacement.
