I have taken my VW Eurovan here and this place is amazing! Mike and Juan are very knowledgeable and helpful. One of the better mechanic experiences I’ve had. Would 100% recommend.

I can’t recommend Austin VeeDub enough! As a female who doesn’t know too much about cars, I have never felt more comfortable leaving my vehicle with another repair team than these guys. They really care about their customers and have gone above and beyond to help me get on the road again.

I'm a native Austinite and I have been doing business with VeeDub for decades. I have a MK3 Cabrio a MK3 GTI VR6 and a B5 A6 Avant and I would trust no one but JUAN HERNANDEZ and his team at Austin VeeDub. The customer service, encyclopedic knowledge, and professionalism puts everyone to shame. For anything Euro, don't stress over it, just go see Juan and his team. They keep my 23yo Audi running like new!

I called with some diagnostic questions, usually people just make you go in to do the diagnosis so that they can charge you. The team at VeeDub was gracious enough and asked a few questions and helped me fix the issue. They let me know if I couldn't get it fixed they would be happy to help but to try a few things first. So awesome! I will be taking my car and recommending the shop to anyone in need!

Haven’t had any work done here but honestly just based off of how nice the guy was on the phone and his willingness to chat w me about by GTI for a sec and not just press me to bring it in like most places, I will absolutely bring it here next time I can’t take care of an issue myself. His knowledge and understanding helped me solve a pretty concerning issue in no time and I’m very glad called.

I had lost my faith in the whole system of dealership maintenance and repairs, and with an older "New" Beetle, was basically screwed when it came to anything other than oil changes. Then I found Austin VeeDub. They have taken care of my baby for over ten years, and it now has 120K miles on it. There is nothing they can't fix, and they are talented, resourceful experts. The location is a bit of a drive, but I absolutely would NEVER take my car anywhere else. Juan is a wonderful, honest man of integrity, and has an amazing attitude about all the cars he and his team work on- in particular, my iconic Beetle. Absolutely the best!

Updated review, they did get ahold of me, apparently my emails went into a junk folder. Setup an appointment and am super excited to potentially get my van running again. Will update when service is complete. ------- Old review I have tried to get an appointment with this company and have been unable to arrange it. Called several times, told to email their service email address, but get no response.

I just like these guys. Juan is friendly and organizes the work. Mike might seem a little cranky but he loves his cats and your VW machine. "Just drive it," he often reminds us after sharing the details of the work he was asked to perform and the extra mile he's not telling you about but did because, well, he loves cats.

I just wanted to give a big shout out to Austin VeeDub in Austin and to Mike and Juan at the shop. They did an amazing job getting VW camper ready for a big trip next week, fixing loads of leaks across multiple systems for a good price. Highly recommended!

Juan is a very friendly and honest man. I had my car in at VW Onion Creek and was told the source of a coolant leak was a failed radiator and it would be a $2500 repair. He took a look for me for free and said he sees no evidence of the leak and that they likely reconnected a hose and tried to charge for an unnecessary repair. Even though he was 2-3 days out on work he took the time to check for me as soon as I pulled in. I will definitely bring my car back in the future for any necessary repairs.

Refuses to give quotes out over the phone, requiring over an hour drive to just get a quote. Will not give support to a business that had these types of practices.

Juan & the team at Austin VeeDub have been amazing to work with for my VW Passat - responsive, honest, insightful and easy-to-work with. Compared to a VW dealership, this is a night and day difference in experience. I can schedule a meeting with Austin VeeDub and they'll take a look at my car that day and provide feedback - VW Dealerships want me to drop my car off for a week or more! Austin VeeDub actually assesses the car and what it actually needs, not just generic recommendations that cost a fortune and are likely unnecessary. Highly recommend!

Juan was a nice and truthful guy. I went to get my water pump on my VW Jetta fixed and asked him to also look into the check engine light. He found 4 problems with my car, 2 of them had to do with the engine cooling system. The other two had to do with my engine leaking oil. He got the coolant fixed in a day, which was awesome. Regarding my engine: One of my engine sensors was drenched in oil and he replaced it (free of charge since he had a spare). Secondly, my brake pump had a major leak that caused my car to loose 1 quart of oil in a month. He got all of my car problems fixed and made sure to run my car for an hour to check for leaks. Which I can say the last mechanic I went to did not. They were pricey repairs but the quality of the fix was well worth it. Also, I had a light sensor that was going off and they fixed that too! I didn’t see it on my bill. Much appreciated to the folks at Austin Veedub

Very glad I happened to find this place. Juan and his staff have been nothing but honest and professional. A while back after a VW dealer in town told me I needed an excessive amount of repairs for what seemed like a simple issue, Juan informed me it was nothing of the sort. Repairs were done quickly and the issue was solved for about 1/6th the price the dealership quoted me. Since then he has worked with me again on other issues in the same professional manner. Honesty and service in auto repair are sadly hard to come by, but Austin Veedub delivers 100%.
