Had a great experience today with Antwone! My car needed a new battery so my boyfriend went to Autozone last night to grab the battery to switch it out, but afterward we couldn’t get the car to operate. It didn’t recognize the key, no lights came on, horn didn’t work, etc - we did all the YouTube “tricks” but nothing worked. I called ATX 512 MM this morning, and Antwone came out within a few hours, fixed and re-programmed the car and it was good as new. He explained everything that he did and what essentially went wrong when we tried to replace the battery ourselves. It was a very informative and pleasant experience. I’ll be reaching back out to him should something else pop up!

Antwone was amazing, pleasant, knowledgeable and got the job done! I called him this afternoon as my kids were trying to get on the road to Amarillo for Christmas - got out to the car and the battery was dead and extremely corroded! Antwone came as promised and was super quick in resolving the issues and even checked all the fluids to make sure the kids had an uneventful trip to Amarillo. Thank you Antwone for getting this taken care of and the kids on the road!! I highly recommend this guy for any of your mobile mechanic needs - I have saved his contact information for any future needs and will refer him to any one in need of his type service.

Great experience and solved my problem. Cost was a little up there for what the fix was (a jump start), but I couldn't manage to jump the car and they did and had already confirmed price beforehand.

Had two lugs break after a tire blowout while outside of Austin on a trip 4 hours from home on a Sunday. No shops were open and I was stranded on the side of the road. The team at ATX 512 was able to dispatch someone out to me and get the lugs fixed on the side of the road, and was able to get home that same day. They definitely saved the day. JJ who fixed the lugs was very attentive and helpful. Very appreciative of him and ATX 512 Mobile Mechanics! Would highly recommend their company and services.

My car battery was down in Downtown Austin and I called so many guys but no one helped me out and even if they picked call also they are saying huge price for just recharging the battery and this guy is awesome he came in 30 minutes and made it to work and guess what price is way way cheaper than others. I can say not even 50% of the others . If I want to refer someone for the work I can directly suggest him to do the work and he is very nice guy too..

This man is amazing ! As a struggling college student this man guaranteed he would start my car and he did just that ! He helped me out so much , now I can comfortably commute to and from work. My battery connectors were corroded and fixed me right up for a nice price :D this company will go far and definitely recommend to anyone ✨ Bonus points : he was very genuine and understand of me as a person. He even gave me a motivational speech when I needed to pick my head up!

This was a terrible experience. Out daughter is far from us, a student at Texas State in San Marcos, and we live in Chicago. She called saying she was in Austin with the brakes not working right--on a rainy Saturday. Not good! We were relieved when we found Antwone, who said he would arrive by 2pm if we paid $225 to reserve his time and travel. I knew I was taking a chance, but sent the money. Fast forward to 2 pm, then 3pm, then 4 pm. No call, no Antwone, After leaving several messages, they finally arrived at 4:45pm. By 5:30, we had a bill for $350 (discounted from an astonishing $475 because they were late). They adjusted the rear brakes. Oh, and "cleaned the engine"--totally without any communication or permission. Then sent us an "invoice" for $624 with the incredible nerve to spell out how little they had done. They provided ZERO new parts. I had to pay because he threatened to keep my 22-year-old daughter's keys. Basically, Antwone scammed us, taking advantage of our concern for our daughter and our distance. Honestly, Antwone should have trouble sleeping at night. Stay away!!!!!

🚨 Beware and don’t use this business. I scheduled an appointment for and was told I needed to paid $225 upfront in good faith to secure the booking. Antwone showed up not ready for the job and looked at my car around 2pm. He told me that I should take a break from working on the car and he would be back around 6pm. He gave me the quote on the total cost of repairs and said to text him beforehand to check in with him. I texted him at 5:18 and 6:08PM Unfortunately, they failed to show up at the scheduled time and did not communicate with me about any delays or issues. I reached out multiple times for updates and only received a response at 11 PM—long after the appointment time—when I had already requested to cancel and asked for a refund. Despite their failure to provide the service or communicate professionally, they refused to refund my money, claiming it was ‘non-refundable.’ As a customer, I value my time and expect basic professionalism. The lack of communication and refusal to take responsibility for their actions suggests that this business is not trustworthy. I want to warn others to avoid this service provider, as their practices feel dishonest and exploitative. Please proceed with caution if considering using ATX 512 Mobile Mechanic. I regret transacting through CashApp and trusting their reviews. I hope this review helps others avoid a similar situation. TLDR: They charge $225 (via CashApp/Venmo) upfront just to come look at it. Good way to avoid charge backs and gives the customer no recourse for their bad actions. I will be filing a complaint with the AG, BBB, and Federal Trade Commission. There is nothing stopping them from giving people outrageous quotes and pocketing $225 for 5 minutes of their time.

I flew back from a trip and my car wouldn’t start in an offsite parking lot. Antwone answered the call. He explained the pricing on the phone, showed up quickly, diagnosed the problem and we agreed on a price. He then got the part and did the fix immediately. I’m so grateful, as I was supposed to drive directly to visit family for the upcoming holiday. A++ service.

I was well taken care of from the beginning! Antoine made sure to accommodate and be considerate of my situation and was very kind and respectful. This was my first experience with Antoine and the process was extremely smooth. My alternator stopped working and my car was dead and parked on a random street in downtown Austin. Within 24 hours of calling Antoine, he was able to come by my house to pick up my keys, order the replacement parts, complete the repair and dropped my car back off to my house. I was kind of skeptical since this was my first time using a “mobile mechanic” but I can honestly say this has probably been one of the best mechanic experiences I have had. Thanks for the smooth transaction and for getting my car back in working order so quickly.

Paid my deposit for an appointment, mechanic was no call no show, called the office repeatedly and got no answer. Happened in March, finally got a refund last week after back and forth for months and being told I won’t get a refund because that’s not something they normally do. Don’t waste your time here, super unprofessional and shady

Had issues with my transmission light coming on and not engaging after a pretty hard hit. They came out and did a full inspection and stayed to make sure everything was taken care of. Very nice and caring. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs emergency help!
