Established in 1971, servicing the Garner/Clayton/Raleigh area for all your automotive needs, bumper to bumper. From tires, basic oil changes, suspension/brakes, engine replacements, difficult diagnostics, and alignments. If you have any needs, come see us TODAY. We no longer provide used tire sales but we will happily order you new tires.

I was in the area and stopped by with no notice to have a flat tire repaired. They took my car back immediately and did a thorough inspection; when the problem turned out not to be the tire, they educated me on a prior rim repair that was done poorly, without a trace of mansplaining, and gave me suggestions on locating a more affordable part than from the dealership. Absolutely outstanding customer service, if I lived closer, I wouldn’t take my business anywhere else!

I came to this shop to get some repairs done brakes, water pump, radiator. When I arrived to pickup my car the owner was yelling and cussing racial slurs about me and that I don’t ever need to step foot in his shop that it’s a whites only shop and for me to go back to where I came from. It all started because I asked to see my old parts. Well it turns out that he charged me for a water pump and he never put it on they spray painted the pump and they got paint all over my belt so it was obvious they didn’t change it. So they rip people off here and charge you for parts that they don’t even put on. So if they did this to me how many other customers has he done this to? I just happened to call that racist man out on what he did and he showed his true white colors after that. I’m going to report this business to the BBB and I’m calling every news channel about this scamming business! Do not go to this shop unless you want to be ripped off!

I had a wonderful experience at Atwood today. I caught a flat on I-40 on my way home and pulled off to the closest place I could find. I’m thankful it was the fast and friendly guys at Atwood. My tire wasn’t in stock and they ran to get it and put it on all under 45 mins. Thanks so much

I would not recommend Atwood Tire Service. If I could give less than one star, I certainly would. My boyfriend took our car in to get new tires put on and to have one of our old tires put on our spare rim. everything seemed fine until we took our spare out of the trunk about a month after the service. At that point we realized they'd not only used a random tire that wasn't mine but that the tire was complete garbage with holes throughout and was overinflated. Had we had to use that tire in an emergency, it wouldn't have worked. My boyfriend took went back back have the problem corrected, Eric said he remembered my boyfriend and our car, he was willing and about to fix it when his wife came into the conversation and put a stop to it. Crazy! We will not be back and we will recommend people to use any service but Atwood. I'm always one for utilizing small, family owned business but, not this one ever again!

Very friendly and fair people. I just had the engine replaced in my truck. The price was fair and the service was quick. Communication alone deserves five stars. There was a phone call when anything was found and before decisions were made (you know, how it's supposed to go). I do believe I've found my new go to for everything vehicle maintenance and repair. Highly recommend.
