Since 2008 (when it was BGT), all my bias tire mounts and dismounts have been done here on all my classic projects. They are the best at this type of service!! Tire swaps and tire replacement on my more recent cars are always done here too and my recent 2011 wheel swap was done at super low cost and top-notch quality AAA+++

I have used Battleground Tire ( now Atlantic Tire) for many many years. My dad used them for our cars in the 70's and I've followed the tradition. I recognize most of the employees who've worked there a long time. They've always done a great job. I can get my car inspected pretty quickly every year. I always get my tires there. It's a pleasure to get work done on my car here because they are so nice and always do a thorough job. I hope Atlantic Tire carries on the Tradition of a great company with a great group of employees.

I've been using Battleground/Atlantic for 25 years and have been pleased with them the whole time. I like that some of the faces have not changed. I value honesty and the personal touch. They know my family and my vehicles. They're in my neighborhood and perfect for my tire needs.

Do recommend! Pleased as punch. Pulled in at 5:18 with a tire noise and asked them to check the inflation on all four tires and they quickly found a nail in one and offered to repair it which they did lickety split and had me out the door for $32. Might need to go back bc still have the tire noise but great service and staff.

Excellent customer service. Took my truck right back at the scheduled appointment start time, replaced my tpms sensors and nitrogen filled to 60 psi as requested. Highly recommend this tire shop now called Atlantic Tire.

I discovered the head of a bolt in the tread of my tire on Halloween morning. I had no idea what to do or where to go, so I pulled into the closest tire place. What a treat! I’m usually pretty anxious and intimidated in auto shops, but the folks at Atlantic Tire were so kind and attentive. They communicated what the repair would be, how long it would take, how much it would cost, and patched up my tire right away. I even added an oil change, which is significant because I usually leave ALL auto maintenance to my husband due to being so uncomfortable in auto shops. The waiting area was clean, refreshments were offered, and I was back about my day in an hour. Atlantic Tire is now my go to auto shop, and I texted all my auto shop apprehensive friends to give them a try!

I have recently relocated to Greensboro and was in need of a service facility to continue service and maintenance of my older vehicles. I have used this location twice and have been very pleased with both visits. The entire staff welcomed me with professional, courteous and informative information about their recent transition in becoming Atlantic Tire & Service. Very happy to have been welcomed to their facility and staff.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They put the tire rotation on the ticket, but they did not actually rotate the tires (I have my tires marked). When confronted they said the front tires were too low on tread to put on the back. They were 4/32nds and I wanted to run them down to 2/32nds. And the better tires should have been moved to the front anyway. And if you were not going to rotate the tires, you should not say on the ticket that you did rotate the tires. The ticket should clearly state TIRES WERE NOT ROTATED. So, I won't be going back. This used to be a good place, but they have been bought by Atlantic Tire

When reading reviews, it's important to remember that dissatisfied customers are often more motivated to leave feedback than satisfied ones, resulting in a higher number of negative reviews. However, a business like Battleground Tire, which has been around for a long time and maintains a near 5-star rating, speaks volumes about its quality. Negative reviews are inevitable unless the review count is very low, which can be a concern in itself. Going to an auto mechanic shop is daunting primarily because many people aren't sure if they will be deceived or not and so it can feel like a gamble. One we all must at some point take and one that feels especially burdensome for many of us. It's like the joke goes, don't talk to positively about finances around your car. I've been a customer of Battleground Tire for about two years now, and have had tires, brakes, some steering work, alignment, state inspections, oil changes and tire rotations done here (probably forgetting something). It's long overdue but I feel compelled to share my positive experience. Given they have become my go-to auto shop in GSO, today I visited them to inquire about a service I wasn't sure they offered. Anthony checked with the necessary staff and informed me that he could have someone look at it if I really wanted, but emphasized that it is not their specialty and he wouldn't want something to go wrong. This level of honesty and transparency is why I trust Battleground Tire (now Atlantic Tire & Service) and will continue to choose them for my automotive needs. Thank You.

Monday started out with a screw in my tire driving on busy Battleground Ave. Fortunately I was right by Battleground Tire and was able to pull in and get my tire attended to immediately. Gabby and Lumi were so kind and personable. Thank you for such great service.

This has been my go to place for anything on my cars that needs fixing or repairing. Quality service, and always quick to replace anything that is needed to be done. They do brakes, tires, oil changes, and many more car fixes. It's first come serve and Jay has always been fantastic when calling up or in person about everything with clear details. I usually park behind the place near the church parking lot since the front can be a tough place to park if your new coming into this place it's recommended. Highly recommended for calls and services and the pricing is very fair. You can also drop off the car and be safe that they won't do anything without your approval and always great communication. Military friendly and good clean waiting room.

Battleground Tire quoted my girlfriend over $800 for a front brake job. Mock Tire of Winston-Salem did a front and rear brake job for $320. When I talked to the manager, he was rude. We will never step foot in Battleground Tire again because that was an obvious ripoff of a woman that knew little about cars.

Friendly people and quick service but the last 2 times I’ve been here they have over charged me. I went in for an inspection and they failed me and quoted me at $600. I went to get a second opinion and they passed my inspection with flying colors. Most recently they charged me $980 for an alternator that should cost less than half that price. Of course I went to get a second opinion and I’m paying only $350. Even though I’m paying significantly less for the alternator my service was still done in 1 day.

The service we received when we took our vehicle the day before the 4th of July holiday was undeniably amazing. Our low pressure tire indicator light came on. We drove to two different shops seeking help. The first, the guy checked our tire and told us we had two nails in it. He was unable to do anything to help fix it but sent us to a nearby shop that could possibly patch it for us. We drove to the shop and they were too busy to help us but said we could come back the next day. We didn't want to chance it so we googled the next closest tire shop and found Battleground Tire. We drove to their location and told them what we were told. Immediately, they told us not to worry, invited us to leave the car parked and to come into the cool sitting area while they took care of the service requested. Their staff were extremely friendly and we paid less than $30, a huge value, to have the tire patched up. Because of the friendly and honest service we received, and the unbelievable price, we will definitely return for any future work. We are fairly new to the Greensboro area and were wondering who we could use for our car maintenance moving forward. We have definitely found them. Thank you! Your fellow Leo, Meyetta

The team at Battleground tire definitely puts the customer first! Took my late model SUV into the shop for some TLC initial diagnostic did not fair well for me. Dropped it off late afternoon Monday, Jay called me back late Tuesday afternoon told me car was ready to go and he saved me a whole lot of money! Told me to come back in for follow up next week. I really appreciate their team, and will definitely continue doing business with them.

Two lawnmower tires the slightly rude (I'm assuming manager) mounted and charged me 53+ dollars I consider a ripoff Had asked about evac and recharge of my a/c he had the balls to let 350 to 400 come out of his mouth I wouldn't let thus clown put air in my tires you've been WARNED

I am a little disappointed with this place. I brought a tire here less than 2 months ago. At first they attempted to sell me 1 tire for close to $200. When I explained that this was a 17 year old car that I didn't drive so much and that it was a car second to my Mercedes. By the way, I didn't pay that much for 1 tire on my Mercedes. They quickly found a slightly cheaper tire. Fast forward to today. I bring the same tire back; it somehow managed to get a screw in it. I was going to bring the tire to Walmart where I knew the price to plug a tire was $17, but in my aim to be loyal, I brought it back here. Well, enough for loyalty; they charged me $29 to repair the tire that I brought from them less than 2 months ago. When I stated that I thought I would get some type of discount, I was told, "What's there to discount, you ran over something in the road, damaged your tire and we repaired it ". OK, so I think that was rude and lacking compassion, but now I know, they won't see me again. I tried to be a regular customer, but that didn't work out, so See Yuh, wouldn't want to be Yuh !!!

I will never come back here. After purchasing tires I asked for a safety inspection. They said that my wipers were bad. Of course they could replace them ($$$) but I am perfectly capable of putting them on myself. I inspected the blades and there was a very small tear in the middle of the passenger side blade. Both blades functioned fine when I tested them. Now, since they failed me, I am locked into this store to get this fixed. I had to go down the street, buy a new wiper and install it to get out from under them. They do this to gouge customers and make a quick buck. When I returned, they made me wait longer because I disagreed with thier inspection (I have been a mechanic for over 20 years). I know they did this on purpose because there were no other customers and I saw the employee who inspected my car doing nothing in the shop. I highly advise you go somewhere else especially if you do not know a lot about cars. They will take advantage of you if they can. I am tired of crooked, dishonest shops like this one. I plan on getting my own tire change machine / balancer and will do alignments the old school way with tape measures and camber gauges. At least I would not have to deal with these robbers and will get the job done correctly (yes, I heard you use an impact to put those rims back on a BMW rather than getting out your torque wrench. Don't tell me about torque sticks either as I can prove to you they are not accurate. Quit being lazy and do the job the right way).

We limped in with a damaged tire that we could not get the lug nuts off of. They put the spare on for us and wouldn't let us pay them for the service. Very helpful. Good price on a new tire if I didn't need to take it back where I got the original. Thank you!
