Having a car with mechanical issues can be stressful, but the team at Atherton works hard to get the problem solved quickly and correctly. They are good with communication, give you a detailed report of items that may also need to be checked on (but no upsell unless it is a huge safety concern), and are very friendly and trustworthy. The only drawback is that there is usually a week or so wait to get your vehicle in, but that speaks to how highly the community regards their work.

It's three days before Christmas. I stopped here to fill up my tank. Put my card in the pump and it malfunctions. Cashier comes out and can't figure out why it malfunctioned. Their pump swiped everything but $0.25 from my account and they have the audacity to tell me it's an issue with my bank and they can't do anything. It's three days before Christmas and I now have zero dollars and not even a drop of gas in my tank. NEVER COME HERE. Literally thieves.

I came in for a 200,000 mile check-up. They found and corrected problems with the cooling and exhaust systems. This was good preventative maintenance.

Matt Jr. and the crew at Atherton do great work! They are honest, efficient, and very reasonably priced. They never do any work without first calling you to check. Also never are pushy for work you don’t want done. Would absolutely recommend!

Very good mechanics. They always provide very detailed analysis of your vehicle and prioritize what must be done, what should be done soon and other items of concern. They provide price estimates for all their work and do everything they can to try and keep you on the road but also save you some money. Very convenient location that allows for early drop off and late pick up.

Got towed here by AAA's recommendation after getting into a minor accident. Nick Atherton was friendly and kind. He had good communication and was accurate about estimated timeframes. They let me keep the giant chunk of shrapnel embedded in my poor tire that they kindly dug out to satisfy my curiosity. (Sorry to the employee that also wanted it for his collection, I am sure you will get more chances to find huge shrapnel)

We were in Omaha for spring break. On the way into Omaha the “check engine” light came on. Atherton Automotive was referred. We took our van in on Tuesday morning and discussed our situation with Matt; and that we needed to head home Wednesday. Matt and his team fit us in and determined the cause of our problem. We were able to get our van Wednesday morning. Our thanks to Matt and the people at Atherton’s for their help. I would highly recommend them.

They have been consistently trustworthy, understanding, and are quick to offer solutions with the customer in mind. My wife and I take our personal and company vehicles to Athertons for all our service. We have been doing so for at least 15 years. The Athertons have always been competetive and tell us what needs to be done and tell us what can wait that we should plan for over time. They stand behind their work and are timely in getting work done. We just finished running 5 vehicles in for service because while we are a little slow now we are going to be slammed very soon and wanted to get our service out of the way so we could respond to our customers. They managed to work all 5 vehicles in in 3 days with no advance notice.

Needed a headlight replaced. Call Atherton's and Matt was able to get me in the same day. They have a convenience store attached where I was able to sit comfortably and wait. The work was finished quickly and everyone was so polite and professional. I highly recommend this business !

On a service date where I've requested a certain repair to be made on an older vehicle, they have checked the car over and found out there were additional repairs needed to made. They have called back and asked if I wanted to continue with the original request, when there were other issues with the car which would amount to was it worth it to fix all items. Some shops would have fixed my requested item, and after payment, I would have been back in their shop to fix something else at a later date. Both times I declined the original repair as the vehicle was not worth the money. Athertons only charged a reasonable diagnostic fee.

These folks get the Chef's Kiss for the year!! I encountered a road hazard that blew a tire on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and had it towed to them. Monday morning, it didn't look too promising they'd be able to get to it before the holiday. Atherton's being Atherton's, they kicked butt, maybe took names, and got it back to me Wednesday. Creme de la creme, ya'll.

Took my car in to Atherton Automotive for an oil change. Got a call 30min later that the oil sensor said I had about another 3k miles before I really needed an oil change. I bet your mechanic doesn't call to say you DON'T need your car serviced. That's the kind of integrity and service you only get at Atherton Auto.
