I cannot say enough good things about this shop. Came in earlier this week to have breaks replaced as my car was squeaking. Noticed it was still squeaking, so brought my car back in. They noticed work done by a previous mechanic was not done properly, and offered to fix it for free. I have not had customer service like this that was this good in years. They are fairly priced, and provide wonderful service.

I’ve visited here different times and keep coming back for a simple reason: their customer service is simply exceptional. This is family-owned and their commitment to have me come back for anything goes above and beyond. They usually diagnose my car for free when in other places (Honda, Belden’s) a diagnostic costs $150 or more. They also paid for my Uber ride one day that they could not finish their work one evening. They honored their warranty for previous work, such as brake pads and rotors in my case: I only had to pay $80 to replace them because the parts were under warranty after two years. This family-owned car repair shop is everything we hope to find to fix our vehicles and affordable.

One of the best experiences I’ve had at an auto repair shop. They are so diligent, keep things affordable, and are honestly looking for the well being of the customer. I am no longer in SA, but I would drive here just to get my car checked out. 10000% recommend.

Outstanding service, as always! This is a car shop that’s been around in Beacon Hill for quite some time. I recall going there with my dad as a teen and today I still see some of the mechanics that where there 25 years ago - which is something that’s always impressed me because to me that says a lot about how well they treat their guys. Brothers Alex and Angel have done a great job at managing the shop and recently implemented a notification system which alerts you of any issues found while your car is being serviced. It gives you a cost breakdown and also gives you the option to accept or decline the services - so there are no surprise charges! Highly recommend going to this shop! UPDATE Oct 4, 2024 I went in today for a tire repair and they were able to fix it without any problems, no up sales to purchase a new tire, or anything of that sort. They’re just honest, hard working people who deliver quality service and at a very reasonable price! Highly recommend! UPDATE Jan 11, 2025 I took them a new vehicle to get serviced and as always they were able to complete everything while I had breakfast at Fina’s Kitchen a block away. Just an amazing car shop all around, which I highly recommend!

These guys are the best. You just show up and they get it done. I showed up without appointment for a rack and pinion (major all day job) and they did it in one day. Amazing. No other mechanic in the country does this

Very happy with the service at A.T. Automotive. They were recommended by a friend. They were able to correct a tricky transmission leak that other folks could not correct. The price was very reasonable and they were very fair with not billing for some corrections that did not fix the leak. My truck is running well and I will def use them again.

I recently brought my 2004 GMC Sierra In for service and when I had my issue diagnosed, found out that the truck had an old cracked heater hose, The shop also recommended that I replace the other heater hose and radiator hose because they were old and cracking as well, I approved the work at about 11:50 am and they called me at 1:30pm and let me know that they were all done with the work, for a radiator hose and two heater hoses and about an hour and a half or so of labor they charged me $700, Then when I came in to pick the truck up I asked If they could run a diagnostic on my truck and the man in the office said yes, that would be no problem and that I could come back in an hour or two and pick up My truck, That happened at about 2:30 PM, So I left the truck there and went home as I only live a mile from the shop, I waited until about 6pm to call them and ask them was my going to be ready, The guy in the office told me he would go figure out the status and call Me back as it started getting closer to 7 pm or closing time I decided to just take an Uber over There, and as I showed up, they recognized that I was there to pick up my truck, which was inside the shop and raised up on a lift and they started to hurried up and closed the shop doors immediately And began to leave rather than trying to give me my truck back But I persisted and stayed inside the office until they brought my truck down off the lift and gave me the keys. The next day I decided to take my truck to another shop and just for grins Had them quote me on the parts For the same fix and it was 400$ I only brought my truck to A.T automotive because a friend had recommended them and said That they wouldn’t overcharge me, but I seriously feel gouged for the work they did, I could’ve easily replaced those three hoses myself for about $150, Which they charged me nearly $300 for the hoses and $400 for labor. I won’t be coming back to this place, Jee-whiz, But I guess you live and you learn.

A.T automotive team highly recommended and trust worthy! Author went above and beyond to help us! While visiting San Antonio our transmission went out leaving us stranded off I-10. Author sent out a tow truck (within 30 min of my call), assisted with applying for financing to make sure we could afford a new transmission, lent us a vehicle for 2 days while ours was being fixed. Excellent customer service! Worked us into their busy schedule to get our vehicle fixed!!! Vehicle working excellent! Thank you for your service!

You need to remind them for a printout of alignment performed on your vehicle beforehand.I had to wait for mine the next morning before going to work. Something like that should be done as par for the course,not overlooked.
