A unique experience to say the least.. Truly a one of a kind mechanic.. Consulting with me even though I showed up 5 minutes before closing. I told Ali that I would probably do my own work and still he took the time to talk with me about my options. I highly recommend Aspeed Auto Repair and will be telling all my friends and family to do business there. Thank you Ali.

I don’t normally leave google reviews as much as I relie on them myself. This place is absolutely awesome! I had to get my front rotors, front breaker, and my sway bar links fixed on my Volkswagen, and I couldn’t believe the price! I called around so many different shops and was quoted $1000-1500, and this place literally charged me about half that for parts and labor. I took it in on a Saturday afternoon, and got it back a couple hours later! As someone who just moved to San Antonio, I was looking for a mechanic shop that was reliable and safe to say I found it! 10/10 people.

New to the area and needed an oil change and new brakes.. dropped my car off around 2 and by 430 everything was completed and a reasonable price..will definitely be coming back.

I took my daughter's car in for a knocking noise. By 11am, they diagnosed the problem as the alternator and had it fixed by 1pm. They are a family run business and are the nicest people. I got new tires, an alignment and front and rear brakes for my 2021 Crosstrek and the price was fantastic. I'm glad to say I found an automobile shop I trust and like. And again, they are the nicest people.

I have used this place several times and have always had amazing experience. I have a 20-something year old vehicle that these guys have taken great care of. It is located clear on the other side of town, but I will gladly take it there because I trust Ali to tell it to me the issue and proposed solutions. Not just look at the codes that are being thrown or try to upsell for unnecessary work or parts. It is hard to find a trustworthy mechanic at a reasonable price (trust me, I have been looking for YEARS), but these guys are it. My vehicle has many more years left in it thanks to Ali and his crew.

Aspeed Auto Repair was recommended by Sam from Lucy’s Towing, and I was very pleased with the service from both companies! Ali was always available to answer my questions about the repairs on my car. He thoroughly explained my car’s needs & cost. Repairs were done in a timely manner as well!

I can see what all the hype is about. Definitely a five-star place. I initially replaced my AC compressor myself and thought I bought a dud or broke something in the process. Apparently all it needed was a flush and recharge! Took about 30 min to fix my AC I had not be using for 2 years already. For $155, wow.. I'm still in shock! We need more mechanics like this in the world! Best experience ever!

As promised my “$2,000 review”. My faith in humanity is renewed. My nissan Sentra kept failing after being “fixed” by another dealership. Ready to give up, my daughter found this place and gave them a call. She explained what was going on and they told her they were pretty sure they knew the issue and to bring it in. We were prepared to drop it off and leave due to it being close to time they would be closing. We were greeted with a smile and told to sit down while Ali and another gentleman looked at it. They saw the code and took the time to truly listen to us and not just replace the same part. They ran test and found out exactly what was wrong and fixed it immediately. All three workers that day were professional and felt like family looking out for us. Their sense of humor and knowledge will keep us coming back. They won our business!

By God The Best mechanic in San Antonio, hands down! I cannot say enough about how awesome they are. I bought my wife a Yukon Denali XL as a graduation gift and she drove it without checking the oil all summer last year. We had that Yukon sitting in the driveway for months because no mechanic in San Antonio would take on the task of opening up the engine to fix the problem. Ali and his father went above and beyond to fix my wife's Denali. And they made it look easy 🙂 From receiving it and housing it in his secure gated shop, to staying in daily communication with me everyday, to giving me an great estimate and even better final price. He was timely, efficient, he ordered all original parts from the dealership and my wife's SUV is back on the road. We don't know what we would've done without Ali and his father taking care of our family vehicle. I would recommend him 1000 over to anyone needing a top tier honest straightforward all around complete mechanic. Better than Midas, Pep Boys, Firestone and whoever your favorite mechanic is. I have gone to two other shops to get my AC fixed. However, they never really fixed because a week later it was not working again. I went to Aspeed auto repair and they fixed my AC and at a reasonable price. My AC is still currently running well! The people there are kind as well. Definitely going back if I ever need something done on my vehicle.

Our first time at Aspeed and will not be the last. Ali was able to pinpoint exactly what was wrong with our vehicle even after taking to various mechanics with all recommending to take to dealer. Ali was very honest and did not over charge like most mechanics nowadays I will recommend Aspeed to all from now on. Thank you for your time and great work.
