I was in Vegas on a vacation and unfortunately needed some work done on my car quickly. I called and told them what exactly I needed done and they got it done for me. They were extremely professional and very respectful. It was easy access from the strip and just overall the best experience I’ve had at a mechanic’s shop as a female going by myself.

It's late so I'll make this as short as Ican. I have used Ask Auto on many occasions. They always do a great job at an excellent price. Bruce, the service manager, is an honest and fair man. He never trys to up sell or pressures you to have extra work done. He actually works with you to prioritize the work so you can budget for what needs to be done now and what can be put off for a later time. The reason I decided to write a review now is because Ask Auto found an issue that was created by a different repair company. I had to use the other repair service because my car had become unsafe to drive due to a axle and hub issue and I used a service close to my home. Well, that repair shop messed up an important axle installation and I had no idea how much damage was done until Bruce and his mechanic showed me the problem. Bruce helped me document the problem so I can address it with the other repair shop. Bruce and his team took pictures so I have everything very well documented. I plan on going to that repair shop and seeing if they will resolve the issue. If not I will be out a substantial amount of money and have Ask Auto do the repairs. I should have gone to Ask Auto to begin with and I would not be faced with this unpleasant task ahead of me. Do yourself a favor and give Ask Auto a try.

Worst place EVER. My radiator cracked and blew on my way from CALIFORNIA to MICHIGAN. The losers at this shop put a tack weld on my radiator and told me I was good to go but he charged me $800 for a BRAND NEW radiator and sent me on my way back to Michigan from VEGAS with 3 kids in my car. I would never go here even if somebody paid me to.

Highly recommend this auto shop!! Stacy is one of the most honest mechanics I’ve ever been to. I was in Vegas for a short vacation, went in for a check engine light, and was shown and told exactly what was wrong with my car within 15-20 minutes. Super nice guy and very professional. You won’t be disappointed!

I have gone to Stacy for years for my car repairs, he is honest and fairly priced and will tell you either get the repairs or get rid of the car. My boyfriend has a 2006 Hummer and has had nothing but problems since he bought it, he kept using his own mechanic and putting thousands of dollars into it and it kept breaking down daily. Finally I’m told him it’s time to take it to my mechanic. Stacy and his team finally fixed the problems needed for him to drive his car in confidence and not to break down on him daily and at a fair price. We will never trust anyone else with our cars, I highly recommend Ask Auto Repair for all your cars needs. Five star all around.

I went to this mechanic for a vibration and a crunching sound in the front of my car. He had it for 3 full days and it still needed an alignment which he said would take another full day. I refused to let him have my car for one more day I would just take it and get it done myself. I went in to pick up my car he presented me with an invoice of $2600 once I went over it and realized that he was overcharging me by $700 I became very upset upset as anyone would. I am a senior citizen and a female and I feel that he tried to take advantage of me because of that. when I left his shop I still had the same problems Even though I had paid him $2000. I took it to another mechanic who said that I needed new struts which is what Ask Auto Repair charged me for then I took it to a 3rd mechanical also said that I needed new struts, so I had to pay to put new struts on at 3rd mechanic. Stacy Barba. Owner, wife offered me money to reimburse me for the work that he charged me for that he did not do. Then he went back on his word and did not send the money so now I've hired an attorney and I've contacted several organizations that are extremely interested in this type of abuse toward elderly people.. Finally this morning, 3 months later, I receive a partial payment of the 1000 that he promised me. Only because I initiated the contact again and send him a list of the people that I am contacting including every consumer affairs Bureau in the state of Nevada and the Department of Motor Vehicles who actually issues his license to do business. He stated in writing that he would only give me the thousand dollars if I promised not to print a bad review. This is an honest review unfortunately it is very bad. Whatever you do don't send a female or an elderly person into this shop, because if it happened to me it can happen to them or you. BEWARE

I've been working with ASK AUTO REPAIR since August 2020, we have a fleet of 10 Light Duty trucks in Vegas that we completely rely on Stacy's team to get them repair. The nature of our business demands have dependable units 24 / 7 / 365 and they've been doing a great job making sure the units are fully inspected and serviced. Servicing a Fleet can be stressful and one like ours is for sure a tough one, by them installing top quality parts with qualified techs my fleet has come from constant road issues to a more productive fleet, the best part is that they've worked with us whenever there's being an issue, they go above and beyond on service attitude, this is the place where they earn your trust, your business and will never make you feel they are making you a favor for fixing your car. I've been in the fleet business for over 20 years and this is the type of repair shop I would like to find at every location we operate nationwide coast to coast.

My drive shaft carrier bearing fell off entirely, and the folks here helped me with every single little thing. They recommended a tow service to get my truck to their shop, ordered the part needed and got it replaced - and they had it done and ready for me a day earlier than predicted! Not only were they professional and timely, but they were also beyond nice and wonderful to talk to. I chose their shop by looking at other Google reviews and now after using their services I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone who needs help with your vehicle and doesn't want to stress too much about it. Vehicle issues can be stressful but the folks at ASK Auto Repair helped get rid of most of that by helping with every step along the way.
